#6 of losing hope

Up in my room Todd is taking care of me, he has an ice pack 

"You, okay," Todd asks 

"No." I say 

"Look,Conner this is going to take time," Todd says

"Not if I find the Canler myself,"I  say,

"Here, ," Todd says throwing me his car keys,

"Go get "e'm," 

"Thanks," 

"GO!," Todd shouts.

I get into Todd's car and drive off...

I make to Vegas within an hour not paying attention to speed limits.

"If I were Alex what would I do!," 

"Indiana!," I shout 

our home state a whole bunch of nothing.

I put the car in drive, when I reach Indiana my heart  stops to think 5 months ago we left here,

I put the car in reverse and back up as fast as I can I promised myself I'd never go back,

I head north to Maine stopping in GREENWRENCH to pay my  respects outside of stonewall is Alex's car untouched I look around in and find Alexs' deas body...
