This was written on 5/27/2016.\nWritten by me, Fane Star","content":"Our eight legged friends and foes  \nAre numerous in size and shape.  \nWe see them useful and see them as pests.  \nThey are a source of our fears and wonder.\n\nIt's their legs.  \nHow numerous they are.  \nIt's how those legs spin the webs,  \nThat makes them fascinating and disturbing.\n\nIt's in their eyes.  \nHow predictable or abnormal they can be.  \nIs it because you never know where they look  \nThat makes them beautiful and horrifying?\n\nWhat if it's their body.  \nSo close to being insectile.  \nMaybe it's the proportion of the body to their legs.  \nIt makes them odd and imperfect.\n\nCould it be all their little hairs?  \nMiniature feelers across their bodies.  \nIs it that nearly human trait,  \nThat makes them freakish and familiar?\n\nThose thin, strong, fibrous webs are next in line.  \nUsed to ensnare unsuspecting victims  \nAnd to dangle around your home.  \nThis causes a shroud of eerie uniqueness to follow in their wake.\n\nShallow burrows are for the larger ones,  \nTo pounce on their passing prey.  \nTo ease our fears these types are far and few between.  \nMaybe this is why they seem to lurk while being far away.\n\nHere you can find the proof,  \nThat our fears can have beauty.  \nSpiders aren't just pests.  \nThey're efficient survivors.\n\n\u0026nbsp;Written by: Fane Star  \n  \n\n  \n  \n\n"}
