I finally buckled down and fixed it. Now that it's new and improved I've seen a big improvement in the way I describe events and environments. I still need work, but for now I'm proud. :P The big reason why I wrote this poem was to show my appreciation to a god who's represented with the raven. I was new to the belief and was inspired by them. That meaning was unfortunately never showed within the poem, but it's still personal to me. This poem was edited on 6/5/2016.\nWritten by me, Fane Star.","content":"A dark figure floats through the trees,  \nInciting fear and mystery.  \nAs it lands high above my sight,  \nThe night no longer stirs.  \nSuddenly, again it flew,  \nBarely visible.  \n  \nMy breath slices through the  \nQuiet breeze as I follow the fluid movement.  \nNot a rustle of leaves.  \nNot a sound but my breath,  \nHung in the gnarled branches.  \nAs my pads move silently over the ground  \nI continue to hunt the unknown.  \nThe air takes a deep breath  \nJust as the quiet black cloud,  \nSlowly, glides down to a branch,  \nJust beyond my position.  \n  \nI look up startled,  \nThrough the dark,  \nI barely make out  \nThe dark outline of a bird.  \n  \nThe moon creeped out,  \nSending a silvery, beam of light,  \nOnto the birdy outline.  \nAnd there our eyes met.  \nIt's two black, beady eyes,  \nIn mine, blue and green.  \nA silent conversation  \nSeeps through the air.  \nIts sleek black feathers  \nShimmer, like inky water  \nAs the soft light highlights the figure.  \n  \nAs I look in awe,  \nThe raven spread its wings and left,  \nBack up into the trees above.  \nCuriosity spent, I slowly disappear  \nInto the darkness of the trees.\n\n\u0026nbsp;Written by: Fane Star  \n  \n  \n  \n\n"}
