{"sf1_id":1026625,"sf2_id":"Rm0GdDqe","title":"losing hope/first steps ch12.","author":"London79","words":342,"posted_at":"2016-06-09T17:25:00.000Z","tags":["Brake-down","Investigation","arizona","driving"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/1026625-losing-hope-first-steps-ch12","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/s/Rm0GdDqe","image_url":"https://www.sofurryfiles.com/std/thumb?page=1026625\u0026ext=.jpg","description":"#8 of losing hope","content":"I look over Alex's body for a long time inspecting the large gunshot wound in his head,\n\n* * *\n\nI start to poke at it, it feels fleashy and sticky flies buzz around me I swat them but they don't go away\n\nI take out my phone and call a local tow service and hospital to help with the body,\n\nthen, get back into Todd's car and drive off.\n\nI start my drive to Maine \"where in the hell could they be!,\" I hollar,\n\ntwo and one half hours later I make it to Maine\n\ntired and wirey I stop and pull into an abandoned lot and drift off to sleep,\n\ndreaming about Alex and, having hot,steamy sex.\n\nIn the morning I drive to get gas I pull into a filling station and hand the attendedent a twenty\n\n\"keep the change,\" I tell her, \"well thanks!,\" she replies.\n\na few minutes later I pull out and continue on my way\n\nthe car back-fires \"oh shit,\" I scream.\n\nI pull over and open the hood smoke billows from the opening\n\nin the engine compartment, I fan it away.\n\nfirst I check the oil \"god damn it!,\" I whine, I pop the trunk luckly there's a brand new\u0026nbsp;container\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"there we go,\" I sigh.\n\nAfter the oils topped off I slam the hood down and start the engine it sputters at first but, turns over\u0026nbsp;\n\nI take out my phone and unlock it \"Google, 1995 Ford Taurus SE specs,\" I say\n\n\"OK, so if this car's engine is a 3.0 liter v6 with an H.P. of 140\u0026nbsp;\n\nand a theoretical top speed of 117 then, I should make it back to\n\nCalifornia by...
