At least, not anymore.
I sighed, and turned around away from the window, unable to stand the sight of it any longer.
I saw Taiidan sitting on a chair nearby, and to be honest, he didn't look that good.
Physically, he was fine, but mentally, he was still scarred by our encounter.
Nevertheless, he was still a bad guy. Broken, yes, but still a bad guy.
I walked over to him, and laid a comforting hand on his shoulder, marvelling at how much we were alike, right down to the same fur markings.
Almost
I heard a rushing sound, like water running, and I turned back.
"Guys, do you hear anything?" I asked, confused.
"Yeah, so it's not just me then," Mitch said, sorta relieved.
We were surprised then, when the clouds parted, and a glorious, red sun burst through the layers of fog, and bathed the entire scene in a pink light.
We saw hundreds of (what we could only describe them as) shadows around the house, as transparent, and as wispy as the fog.
We all scrambled back in horror, reaching for our weapons.
Suddenly, the whole house shuddered, as if some massive, god-like mallet struck it.
Just as suddenly, the door literally imploded, and wraiths rushed inside.
I realised then, that these weren't evil spirits; in fact, Chloe even though she saw her long dead family among them.
"Jhirha de kvya eantho lo mehida?"
We all glanced around, surprised, not knowing where the question came from.
Out of the apparitions stepped five figures; one of them, Sol.
I heard a dull thump from beside me, and I saw that Chloe had sunk to her knees in shock.
"Glaceo? Mark? Hope? Verity?"
The four other figures nodded, and embraced her.
"Yes, Chloe, we're here," Glaceo said, kissing her on her forehead.
Sol walked up to me, and hugged me as well.
A wave of long-forgotten pain washed over me, and I burst into tears, embracing her as well.
"I've missed you," I managed to say to her, through my tears.
"I've missed you too, and even more so, since you're never destined to be with me again,"
I pulled back, slightly surprised.
"What do you mean?"
She just shook her head, and was about to say something, when Eifie walked in behind us, carrying a tray laden with hot drinks, which she promptly dropped when she saw everything going on.
"Chloe! Scott! Get away from there!" she yelled, rushing towards us.
Mitch had also gotten up, and walked over beside her.
We just gave them both a look of utter confusion, but nevertheless, we pulled back slightly.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
We were surprised then, when we heard an echoing cry ring out.
Chloe and I jerked back, and tried to look for its source.
Taiidan had stood up, and was glowing strangely. He had also drawn his sword.
"Those aren't your loved ones," he said.
We looked at him in horror.
"What do you mean? Of course they are!"
Eifie and Mitch shook their heads as well.
"No, they aren't," Mitch said.
"Yes they are!" I replied.
"No, they aren't!"
"Oh, for God's sake!" Eifie exclaimed, exasperated, "Frea jhore hu deme kahailve!"
The wraiths around us shimmered, then turned into dark shadows, radiating evil and malice.
As soon as I saw them, I felt an uncontrollable anger course through my veins, setting them alight, and I was afraid.
Afraid of what was happening.
Afraid of what I was going to do.
Almost against my will, I raised my arm, which shimmered with dark sparks, and shot bolts of dark lightning at the wraiths.
In an instant, I transformed from being afraid of what was happening, to immersing myself in my anger, and seeking to destroy the beings that dared to impersonate my friends, my family, and Sol...
They fled out the door, and I went to follow them, but I was crash-tackled to the ground by Mitch, Taiidan and Eifie.
"Grr! Get off me!" I yelled, struggling under their combined weight.
Chloe rushed over to me, and placed her hands on my head.
I measure of peace flowed into me, and I stopped struggling.
As I did, the others got off me, and I pushed myself off the ground, rubbing one of my wings.
"Ow, I think you sprained it," I said, before the pain went away, and a fresh wave of anger washed over me.
And with it, a dawning realisation.
I looked at the others in horror, before fleeing out the door.

I rushed through the underbrush, panting heavily.
I glanced backwards, almost tripping in the process, in the faint hope that no-one was following me.
I didn't know when my dark side would re-emerge, and I didn't want anyone to get hurt when it did; I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I hurt them.
My fur blended perfectly with the surrounding forest, so it would be even harder for anyone to find me.
And why should they?
I was a danger to myself and my family, and I couldn't control myself when I lost it.
When I couldn't run anymore, I collapsed to the ground, flaring my wings slightly, so I wouldn't hurt myself on the rocks beneath me.
I descended into a fitful sleep, filled with evil voices, whispering in the darkest recesses of my mind...

When I finally woke up, I found myself lying near a cliff face, overlooking a vast ocean of green, with the wind blowing soothing across my fur.
I walked over to the edge and looked down.
It was about five-hundred metres to the tree canopy.
I gave a small shudder, before walking back a few steps, then running off the cliff.
My wings snapped open, and I felt a rush of pure joy flood through my body, but below that, a dark, foreboding feeling grew.
And with it, an inexplicable rage.
"No!" I thought, "I won't let this happen again!"
I dived straight down, closing my wings for a greater speed, and as such, it only took me a few seconds to almost reach the canopy that was once far below me.
As I was about to hit it, however, I opened a portal to the one person whom I knew could help me...

I shot through the portal, and crashed into a tree on the other side, with mountain ranges filling the horizon.
"Scott!" Fang exclaimed, surprised, "Are you alright?"
I pushed myself off the ground, my mana lines flickering between blue and red.
"F-Fang," I managed to groan, before crashing to the ground again.
"Dad!" a voice behind me yelled, before someone rushed over to me, and wrapped their arms around me.
I weakly opened my eyes, and saw Miranda's concerned face in front of me.
"Dad! What's wrong?"
"M-Miranda, I'm so s-sorry..." I sighed, before I lost all control of the rage building up inside me.
My fur turned pitch black, and my mana lines shined ruby-red.
I stood up, literally throwing Miranda off me, and drew my swords, brandishing them at Fang.
"Scott?" he asked, before drawing Fatalis, his sword of the storms.
All I heard, however, were evil voices, whispering poison and lies in my ear.
I ran at him, throwing one of my swords in the process, before slashing at him with my remaining one.
Fang dodged my thrown sword, and brought up Fatalis to block.
The two swords met with a deafening clang and a shower of sparks.
We exchanged blows and parries, wearing the both of us down, until we started making mistakes; I managed to nick his leg, while he somehow cut my arm.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a flash of iridescent red, and I felt a searing pain in my chest.
I looked down, and saw Miranda's blade poking through.
I sank to my knees, slipping off the end of her sword, before collapsing to the ground.
Within moments, I was back to normal again.
I rose to my feet, thankful of my healing powers, and turned to Miranda, embracing her.
"Thank you," I whispered in her ear.
She pulled back.
"You're welcome, I think," she replied, "And what the hell just happened?"
"You know, I've got no idea,"
Fang walked over to me.
"Where've you been, Scott? Everyone's been worried about you!"
I went silent.
"I-I didn't want to hurt anyone," I said hesitantly, "I thought it'd be best for me to leave,"
"Oh, Dad! Look what I can do!" Miranda exclaimed, with barely contained joy.
She focused, and an aura materialised around her, and a large, spirit dragon flew out of her body, roaring with joy at once again being free, before glancing downwards, at me, inspecting me.
Then, bidden by some silent command, it flew back into her body.
She looked at me expectantly.
"Well?" she asked.
"Well what?"
"Well, aren't you surprised at what I can do?"
"To tell you the truth, yes, though I don't always have to show it, right?" I gave her a cheeky smile, followed by a kiss on the forehead.
"That reminds me," Fang said, "Chloe was looking for you,"
I sat down, shakily.
"I don't think I'm ready to go back yet,"
"I thought so," a voice behind me said, and I turned around to see both Mitch and Chloe walking up to the three of us.
"Scott, there's something we need to talk about," she said.
I jumped up, ready to run, but I felt Fang place his hand on my shoulder.
"I really think you should listen to what they have to say," he said.
I slowly nodded, and sat back down again, with Chloe beside me.
"Scott," she started, "Have you ever heard of someone- something called Death Wolf?"
I just shook my head, confused.
"He was one of the most evil beings in the universe. He was also once your father,"
I glanced at Mitch in horror, before jumping to my feet again, backing away slowly.
I turned to run, but somehow, Chloe was behind me.
"Scott! Listen to me!" she exclaimed, "Your father stopped being Death Wolf three decades ago, but we fear that some of his power has been transferred into you,"
At that moment, my anger flared a little, and I watched with a morbid curiosity as my arm changed from its normal charcoal grey colour, to pitch black, and everything around me vanished, and was replaced (if possible) by a dark void.
I looked around, surprised, and saw a pulsing, crimson light coming from behind me.
I turned around, and saw a version of me, curled up in the foetal position, and radiating red light.
Its eyes flew open, burning like the last, fleeting embers of a fire, and stared deep into my eyes, deep into my soul.
I felt a sharp pain in my mind, and I staggered away from the creature lying on the ground.
It slowly uncurled itself, and stood up, its eyes still piercing mine, still keeping up its mental attack, and walked over towards me.
It was surrounded by an evil, glittering, red haze, and its fur was blood-red, with patches of black, yellow and orange scattered throughout it.
Suddenly, there was a flash, and I was lying on the ground, with Fang, Mitch, Chloe and Miranda crowding around me, their faces etched with lines of worry and fear.
I was about to get up, when I felt something begin tearing at my insides, while at the same time, a dark aura shimmered into being around me, and a red light began shining from my chest.
I struggled to my feet, doing my best to ignore the pain, and concentrated on making a portal away from everyone, to a place that I knew would be able to hold me, with no means of escape.
Somewhere they couldn't follow me.
However, an image of Miranda flashed into my mind, and how I was going to leave her again, forever.
With a dawning realisation of exactly what I was doing, and whom I was thinking of, a rising horror flooded my mind.
Before I could act on in though, two portals opened, beneath both me and Miranda, and we fell through them.
We found ourselves in a large, grassy field, with trees dotted here and there.
I fell to the ground, and the light started to pulse in time with the throbbing pain.
I yelled in agony as the pain peaked, and something burst out of my chest.
I looked up, and saw an evil, twisted version of myself standing over me, gazing hungrily at Miranda.
She was frozen in shock, and shivering with fear, when he started advancing towards her.
I struggled to my feet.
"Stop!" I yelled as loudly as I could, throwing a punch at his head.
He caught my fist without even turning around.
Now turning towards me, he glared at me with malice in his eyes, as he pulled back his outstretched hand, making me stumble forwards, and his other fist slammed into my face, throwing me back at least ten yards, landing near a tall oak tree.
He smirked, before continuing his advance on Miranda.
She cowered for a moment, before drawing on some inner strength, and attempting to shoot lightning at him.
She was surprised, then, when only a few sparks appeared, then vanished.
By now, the demon was right in front of her.
She looked at him in horror, before he picked her up by the throat, and threw her against the tree beside me.
Before she could try to escape, glowing, purple bands appeared out of nowhere, and clamped themselves to both her wrists and her ankles, drawing them around the tree trunk.
I went to get up to help her, only to be stopped by some unseen force.
He reached up to her, and tore off her clothes, revealing her small, perfectly formed breasts, and a tight cunny, just wanting to be fucked.
With a growing horror, I watched helplessly as he ran a finger over her breasts, making her give a shudder, and a small groan of pleasure.
He traced a line down her chest, and started to play with her already moist cunt, teasing her.
I watched as he took two of his fingers, and slid them into her, then three, four, then eventually his whole fist.
I watched as she struggled weakly against her bonds, shuddering with pain and pleasure as he continued to fist her.
Suddenly, he pulled it out, and released her bonds, making her fall to the ground beside me, smelling strongly of her own juices.
The demon walked over to her, and pulled her to her hands and knees.
When I looked at him, I saw something that really terrified me.
His cock slowly came out of its sheath, dripping pre.
He slowly approached Miranda's exposed ass, and a fresh wave of terror rolled over me.
The way that Miranda was positioned, meant that we could see each other's faces, and I saw just how scared she was.
Her face suddenly contorted in a yowl of pain, as he buried his manhood in her tight ass.
It was this yell that re-awakened something deep inside me.
I curled up into a ball as a strange feeling coursed throughout my body, and a sighing voice whispered something in a long-forgotten tongue into my ear.
"Shani de kija, omluita heli lo,"
I suddenly felt a wave of power flow through me, and a sphere of golden light formed around me, destroying the barrier preventing me from moving.
The sphere vanished, and I stood there, watching the demon coldly.
Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw that my fur had now changed to a pearly white colour, and it had golden lines running through it, like Chloe's.
I held out my arm, and a crackling shaft of lightning shot out of it, hitting the demon, and sending him sprawling.
I started to shimmer, and I found myself staring at yet another copy of me; I saw that my fur was back to normal as well.
"What the?" I exclaimed, surprised, "Who're you?"
The (for lack of a better word) angel turned to me.
"We're, well, you," he said, to my utter confusion.
"Yeah? And? So?"
"We're both your good and bad sides," the demon said.
"And we aren't supposed to be fighting like this," the angel said, "We're supposed to fight, well, inside you, and it's hurting us to be like this,"
As he said this, both he and the demon turned into gold and red orbs respectively, before flying into my chest.
I then noticed Miranda lying on the ground a couple of feet away, and I rushed over to her, helping her up.
"I-is he gone?" she asked hesitantly.
"Yes," I said.
She looked around.
"Well, we'd better go, I suppose everyone's worried about us,"
I just shook my head sadly, and a gentle breeze began blowing across my fur.
"We can't,"
"W-whadda you mean?"
"Well," I said, as I gestured around me, "We're in a place where time as we know it, doesn't flow like it does where we come from. An eternity could take a single second, or a second, an eternity,"
As if to prove my point, the leaves blown on the wind slowed down, almost coming to a complete stop, before speeding back up again.
"There's no escape. This was my final hope, somewhere that I could live for as long as I wanted to, and not have to fear hurting anyone anymore,"
I snorted in disgust, before bowing my head in shame.
"Needless to say, it backfired big time,"

 \\* \\* \\* \\* \\*

All characters blah, blah, blah, respective owners, you know the drill...

A couple of quick facts about Infinitum:

- This is the first yiffy thing I've done in such a long time, not including NUBT, 'cause I wrote that ages ago

- There was supposed to be a big yiff scene right after the cut-off (literally the next sentence is the start) but I'll leave that to your imagination ;P

- I actually wrote this all the way back in March (the yiff scene is a massive exception, as it was only just written)
