The clean version of it. This is also my very first attempt at a story. I've been wanting to write this for awhile. I just couldn't find the confidence until I read Sharp Teeth by Toby Barlow. I gained the confidence to try and I don't think it went too horribly. This might get edited in the future and it will be one of the few works I ever edit if I do. This was written on 6/22/2016.\nAll characters are mine.\nWritten by me, Fane Star.","content":"This is a story, very personal to me.  \nIt's the history of me and how I came to be.  \nI'll try to keep it brief for the audience and myself.  \nThere are many things that I don't wish to share.  \n  \nI shall begin with my parents.  \nAn odd pair if there ever was such a thing.  \nMy mother, so quiet and shy, is a 9 foot dinosaur.  \nA Parasaurolophus, named Minerva, To be specific.  \nShe's covered from bill to tail  \nIn blues and purples that I wear.  \nHer toes are each a different color, green, pink, yellow, and more.  \nHer eyes are her treasure, emeralds set gracefully in her skin.  \nDeep green with a shine that's prettier than the gem.  \nThere was a time when she was happy.  \nA gentle giant full of love.  \nThen she met Rupak. A 6 foot horror.  \nHe's my father, a no good fox that bullies all.  \nUsing physical strength to harm those  \nThat interfere with his wantonness.  \nHis face and back are scarred  \nFrom a fight with an unknown vulpine.  \nHis cold eyes are blue,  \nDark, like the frozen ocean.  \nHis right foot is black up to his knee.  \nRupak's thumb claws are red like blood.  \nRumored to be from the lives he's taken.\n\n\u0026nbsp; Rupak and Minerva were unhappily together for years.  \nShortly after they got together, I came to be.  \nLife was beyond miserable during those years.  \nArguments, fights, drugs, and alcohol dominated.  \nMy mother never put a harmful claw on me.  \nWhile Rupak was unstoppable. The forever cruel fox.  \nFinally at the age of eight, he left.  \nOut of the blue with no warning he disappeared.  \nI still don't know what happened to him.  \nI can only hope I never do.  \nThe following years were horrific.  \nMom stopped working, stopped leaving the house,  \nAnd finally stopped getting out of bed.  \nShe became hard to be around and I had to find a way to care for us.  \nI began hunting. My old bow and quiver are still in use.  \nI hunted, not for our consumption, we are vegans.  \nFood was never an issue because of this.   \nI hunted for rent, clothes, water, and for medicine.  \nAt the age of 12 I became the best hunter in Glendale.  \nA year later I left my mother. I couldn't take that life anymore.  \nI moved into an abandoned shack behind the town's high school.  \nI continued hunting in the forests and I survived.  \nNo one knew where I slept at night.  \nI never saw my parents again.  \nMy depression worsened throughout high school.  \nI was a friendless outcast. My history was no secret.  \nDue to this, I gave myself a last name, Star.  \nI became my own leader and the name fits.  \nThat day I became my true self, Fane Star.  \nThings got a little easier after that and  \nI finished high school in solitude.  \n  \n\n\u0026nbsp; Leaving school meant leaving town.  \nYou reach a point when you're done being alone, purposeless.  \nI left in search for that purpose.  \nI found several mates during this time, they were unsuccessful and miserable.  \nAs time has passed I moved from town to town just to realize  \nThat my life kept pointing to college for my next journey.  \nSo I settled down temporarily, just until I go to college.  \nHunting is still my way of life, but it's harder in these places.  \nAs you know I've become more social over time.  \nLess of an outcast and more of a friend.  \n  \nThis story is far from over.  \nMy daily life adds to it.  \nFuture events may turn it upside down.  \nFor now, I live a peaceful life with those I love close to me.  \n  \nWritten by: Fane Star  \n  \n\n"}
