Can you see me 

Not what i appear to be 

Can't you see

This smile isn't really me

  

Its just a mask 

To hide the fact 

That im trapped 

With a body that doesn't belong 

  

Can you see 

Who i am inside 

Behind the mask

That i hide behind 

  

Can't you see 

Im trapped inside 

In a prison

In a body that's not mine 

  

Can you see 

How dark it is

How far away 

How far from the light

Hiding from myself in the dark

  

Can anyone see me 

For who i really am 

Would anyone miss me if i disappeared 

Would anyone notice if I ceased to exist
