The night claimed the forest in its long and cold\ngrasp as silence fell upon the land below. A single sound would echo thru the\nnight for tonight death roamed the woods. \nUnseen Unheard until the time came to face their swift judgment. Their\nhunger for the cruel and the deceitful will grow even stronger as they move\nthru the world. Moving like the night its self never giving you enough time in\nthe light before it calms you, swiftly and without remorse.\n~~~~A\nregret~~~~\nHe stood\ntowering over me his large paw around my small neck. A jackal I knew well he\nwas always quick to anger blaming those he called his family he was horrible\nand evil. He glared down to me as he squeezed my neck I coughed as I felt my\nlungs scream for air. I looked up and the man who had tormented my life hit me.\nHe broke me he almost killed my mother and killed my older brother, my father.\nHe reeked of\nthe bottle he was so fond of. I could barely breathe now as I got light headed\nand he loosened his grip on my thought. He came a little closer as he growled\nin my ear and I could feel myself tremble. I could see the side of his muzzle\nin a slight sneer and hear the words spill from his maw\n\"You make me\nsick\" he ground my neck in to the tree with his teeth bared and a low growl and\nI knew how this was going to end.\nI whimper\nand croaked out \"You almost killed he-\" I got cut off as he squeezed my neck. I\ncould feel my neck about to snap under his paws strong grasp.\n\"SHUT UP\nSLUT! SHE HAD IT COMEING!\" he barked to me. Lifting me off the tree and\nthrowing me to the ground a foot away.\nI hit the\ncold earth I heard a snap and howled in pain as I landed on my arm breaking it.\nMy head jolt back against the ground and hit with a spike of pain down my\nspine. The world rang in my ears my head pounding against the inside of my\nskull. I open my eyes slowly scanning for the male I called father slowly my\nvision coming in to focus. A rough paw grabbed the wrist attached to the arm\nthat was now broken and I yelped as he gave it a tug and dragged me across the\nhard ground.\nHe looked\ndown to me with a growl and barked out \"SHUT, UP!\" then placing a hard kick in\nmy ribs causing me to cease as I got the wind knocked out of me.\nHe looked up\nin the woods and grins seeing a stream in a small circular clearing. He pulled\nme across the by my broken arm to a stream that cut thru the centure of the\nclearing like a knife. He lifted me up slowly, kneeing me in my chest before\ndropping down along the bank of the calm stream. Whimpering and moaning in pain\nfrom my tortured body beaten, broken and bleeding.\nThere was a\nsound from the edge of the clearing just inside the woods. The crack of\nsplintering wood like something or someone was snapping a tree in half. I look\nto my father as he scans the woods for any sings of movement or whatever may of\ncaused the sound. ^Now is my chance.\n^ As I thought this I reached around my side for anything. My paw fell over a\nmedium sized rock, it had a nice point to one end. I held on it tight as I slid\nit under my side. Hiding it from my father's view I looked up to him.\nHe turned\nhis attention back to me and he rest his foot paw on my chest. I let out a\ngroan as he leaned in to me and pushed in on my ribs and I frowned as I dropped\nmy head to the side. With a growl he leaned in to me right over my face with\nhis teeth bared.\nGrowling he\nsaid \"Now I'm done with you. This where it ends, you were as usl-\" Thump! \nI had cut\nhim off with a heavy handed swing. I planting the sharp end of the rock in the\nside of his temple. The sharp end on the rock breaking the skin, knocking him\noff of me. I tried to get up using my broken arm but yelped in pain as I\ncollapsed back in to the dirt. I tried again using my good arm to push myself\nof my back, with a whimper I rolled away from him. Looking up to the forest\nedge I gritted my teeth using my good arm I slowly got to my feet being careful\nnot to fall back down. Wining with each step I took away from my father.\nCradling my broken arm gently against my chest looking forward to the forest. Tears\nstreaming from my dark purple eyes and down my small black snout falling to the\ngrass damp with dew.\nI heard my\nfather get to his feet slowly as blood dripped from his head wound. He winced\nand brought up a paw to the wound. I heard his growl as he saw his blood on his\npaw. He wiped his head around to me as I had fallowed the stream away from him.\nI was no more than 5 meters away before he had come for me. I felt his cold\ngrip around my neck as he grabbed me hard sending a jolt of pain thru me a\nmoment later he had shoved me off my feet and on to the damp ground of the\nstreams edge, I felt him grab the top of my shirt pulling me back above the\nwater. I looked to him in fear and got a growl in return from the man I once\ncalled dad.\n With a slow motion he pushed my maw and snout\nunder the water. I felt the cold wetness first and then the lack of air.\nHolding my breath I clawed at his paws with my unbroken arm my eyes closed\ntrying to hold on to any strength I had left in me. My lungs begged for air I\ncould not give them submerged under the water. I kicked as much as I could as\nhe sat on me. I dug my claws deep in to his skin trying to get him to let go so\nI could breath. His blood polluted the water and he winced lightly but quickly\nput an end to it my taking a paw off me and hitting me over the head. There was\nmy down fall as I tried so gasp for air but only took in water and I could feel\nmyself start to drift off as I breathed in water. But that is when it happened,\nwhen Black and white smoke seeped form the surrounding forest. Each side a\ndifferent shade separated by the stream going thru the center of the clearing dividing\nthe different smokes like a blade flesh. The smoke formed a circle in the\nclearing the one side white the other black as night with two piles of the opposing\nshade. It was silent. Dead silent, it sounded like, like death was the only\nthing present to watch my father drown my bleeding acking body, mabey death\nwould be welcome, to release me from this pain.I closed my eye, happy at the\nthought of the end to this torment, to peace. The dots of piled smoke billowed\nupwards birthing a creature unlike any other. \nAs I drowned\nslowly in the water I could feel their presence, the power, the strength, the\nfear all those who see them know. The one was around 7 feet tall, it's prickled\nmetallic flesh as black as charcoal,  its\neyes burned thru the night like a campfire in a forest, the eyes a burning\nwhite that illuminated its blank face showing its crooked chiseled frown, starring\nforwards to my father with an evil glare and sinful intent. The other a pure\nwhite stepping from the white pile of smoke in to the black, its metal looking\nskin flawless and clean, model perfection, except for its eyes hallow, black,\nwith a deep glow emanating from deep inside. \nThe one of\nblack stepped forward in to the white mist with a snarl arcing its back letting\nlose a gargled screech, even thru the water it made me jump and struggle as I died\nat my father's quivering hands, looking up to see the figure charge at him clearing\na football field in a second. Placing a firm knee in to my father's chest. I\nheard the sound of bone breaking as the knee came in to his chest with enough\nforce to brake brick causing my father to be shoot back off of me him letting go\nof me under the water as I was unconscious and still drowning. The white figure\nwalked over to the water with a soft stride and picking me up from the water. Dripping\nblood and water in to the river from my cold body laying limp in the creatures\narms as it looked down to me. It brought up a long narrow finger sharp as a\nknife it pressed it against the top of my shirt and with a swift motion cut\nthru my shirt. With a delicate touch it parted my now tattered shirt exposing\nmy small chest and pressing a finger against my chest. The tip of its finger began\nto glow a dull suttee light. It dragged its finger parting my fur as it drew it\nacross me and the glow pulsed thru me causing my veins to glow a dull white.\nWhen its glow reached the base of my thought I woke and was sent in to a\ncoughing fit my lungs coughing up water and blood begging for air and wheezing.\nIt softly rubbed my back as it held me like a mother her sick child. After I calmed\ndown it held me in to its chest as I wined in fear and in pain crying softly in\nits arms. You think it holding you would be terrifying but, no it was soothing\nand comforting like when your mother holds you or a loved one. I slowly calmed\ndown with my head against its flat chest listing it its strong powerful heart.\nI buried my face as it nodded to the black figure who stood glaring over my\nfather then turned me away. I heard the sound of dragging and then the sound of\nwining from the mad I used to call a father he said something like \"Please, no!\nI regret my folly forgive me. Please I beg of you!\" and all he was a gurgled\nsound of dying creatures suffering, then a splash of water then a struggle the\nwater splashing and my father thrashing to get away that went on for a good 15\nmin. Then it stopped and no sound for a little while but the grass scraping against\nthe black figure as I stood back. Then a loud crack and then a crunch of bone\nand then the water running around what used to be my care giver my father, he\nwas no man. No father of mine."}
