This was an interesting one to write. I wrote it after remembering moments in my life when I thought I'd never recover from certain events. It feels like it's been awhile since I posted something with weight, so I was glad I popped this out! Written on 7/20/16.

How do you move on  
When your dreams have become flawed?  
You've watched them build up.  
Nurtured the fields of success and hope  
Just to watch it burn and decay  
With the smallest wrong breath,   
The one wrong question.  
  
How do you move on  
When the one closest to you is no longer perfect?  
You got so close, shared many secrets  
Just to watch the golden image  
Become twisted and blackened  
With the smallest piece of hidden info uncovered,  
An unforgiving truth that cannot be fixed.  
  
How do you move on  
When your life is threatened?  
You've done so much to improve, to keep yourself safe.  
Just to watch if blow up in your face  
With a whoosh and shout  
You're back to square one, the beginning,  
To the place where you're a danger to yourself.
