Sometimes I don't want to wake up,

because I know,

that when I open my eyes

you won't be there. 

But if I sleep,

if I continue sleeping, 

I can hold you in my arms again,

feel your lips..on my lips again,

see your smile and 

hear your laugh again.

Instead...I have to open my eyes again.

I have to see emptiness beside me,

silence surrounding me.
