He eagerly waddles up out of the ocean as\nhe pants with joyful optimism, speeding up to the driftwood-fenced house. \n \n\"AHH!\" He yelps as Sally\nstarts to bark just as Arnaav opens the door. The golden dog bounds around the\nboy playfully as she yelps loudly, \"Not now! I have to hurry!\" He quickly bats\nand pets the dog, before rushing across the house, tracking in dirt and sand\nalong the way.\n \n\"Hmnn...\" Arnaav digs under the\ncouch, his tail waving back and forth as he grapples underneath the cushions.\nSkyler lurks as he crouches down, eying Arnaav's thick tail like a predatory\nkitten.\n \n\"Aha!\" Arnaav's webbed paw\ngrabs the artifact he has sought for, wrapped in a soft cloth, unveiled to\nreveal the jeweled butterfly hairclip. He giggles with joy as he brings it to\nhis wet, furry chest as hugs it lightly.\n \n\"She's sad right now. Yuri\ndid say love is fleeting with humans, so she doesn't like Merrick anymore...\"\nArnaav said as he rewraps the beautiful trinket partially.\n \n\"All I have to do is find her\nagain.\" He ponders to himself, a little defiantly again, \"And then I'll show\nher that I found her treasure!\" He takes one last look at the sparkling jewels,\nbefore concealing them.\n \n\"And then she'll be so happy,\nshe'll forget all about Merrick!\" He took a moment to blush as a light spiral\nswelled in his chest, \"And after that, maybe she'll like me instead...\" \n \n\"EEEP!\" Arnaav squeaked as\nsharp pinpricks hit on his tail. He looks over his shoulder to see the small\nwhite creature gnawing and wrestling with his appendage. Arnaav casually bent\naround to pull the kitten off of his tail, and placed him on the couch, \"Not\nright now, I have to go.\" He told the creature.\n \nArnaav quickly retrieved his\nocean knapsack, and tucked the bundled trinket safely within. The boy then\nwaddled out of the house as fast as he can, eventually going to all fours as he\nrushes straight for the shore. He runs off to the rocks, and dives once more\ninto the familiar sea.\n \n \nOne minute after Arnaav have\nleft the house, a few cars pull into the gravel of the driveway, emerging the\nresidents and a couple of guests from the luau.\n \n \n\"Eelgh, what the heck??\" Yuri\ngrimaced as she sees the trail of wet sand-mud all on the carpet.\n \n\"What's up?\" Merrick asked.\n \n\"I think Sally killed another\nrodent again.\" She scowled. The golden retriever whined as she bowed her head.\n \n\"Uh,\" Jamal looked over the\nhouse, \"I don't think Salls can open the damn sliding door, Yuri.\" He pointed\nout. Merrick observed the couch, and felt around the area.\n \n\"I think Arnaav was here. Be\nmust've stopped by, and forgot to close the door.\" \n \n\"Ulgh, lets clean it up later,\" Yuri complained as she pulled off the lei, \"I\nneed a soak.\"\n \n \n~~~\n \n \nSasha hissed as she slowly\ngets into the bubbling cauldron of the hot tube, slowly sinking into the biting\nhot water before setting down, \"Blimey, this feels nice...\"\n \n\"Heads up,\" Jamal and climbs\nup, and starts to dip into the Jacuzzi too.\n \n\"Oh for God's sake, Jamal!\"\nYuri whined, \"Do you HAVE to wear a ball-clenching speedo like that??\" She\nasked as Jamal's hot chocolate thighs braced around a round, tight red bulge\nwith a white cross on it.\n \n\"Ah, quit yo bitchin gurl.\"\nHe said as he grunted in, \"You just lucky I ain't dippin in nekkid - we got\ncompany here.\"\n \n\"Oh gee, how decent of you.\"\nYuri rolled her eyes.\n \n\"Oh, by all means!\" Sasha\nadjusted, \"Take'em off, Jamie!\" \n \n\"Aight,\" Jamal shrugged and\nleaned forward and submerged his hands in to take his tight speedo.\n \n\"NO! Once he removed the scale, Merrick's body instantly changes\nwhile his shoulders and head remains humanoid, he grunts as his legs grow\nquickly.\n \n\"Whoa,\" Merrick irked as he\ngrabs the edges of the hot tub as his blue and while tail rises from the other\nside, while his beautiful tailfin unfurls once out of the water.\n \n\"No bloody way!!\" Sasha looks\nwith awe as she feels along Merrick's tail, \"This is just like in that Tom\nHanks movie! And you're not boiling?!\"\n \n\"Not really,\" Merrick says as\nhis magnificent scales and fins glimmer in the lights of the Jacuzzi, \"Though I\ncan't be in this kind of hot water for too long. My body is more suited for\ncolder waters.\"\n \nAdam reattaches Merrick's\nnecklace, and his body reverts back into his human form.\n \n\"Now you.\" Sasha said with a\ngrin.\n \n\"Ok.\" Syrinx held her wrist\nup for Kevin to unhook, and remove. Her skin immediately changes into a fine,\nmagenta-brown velvet pelt as her legs thickened and melded into a thick tail\nwith flippers at the end. She elevated her tail to show her true form.\n \n\"This is bloody brilliant.\"\nSasha says as she lifts up the tail, \"You feel like a heavy plush doll!\" \n \n\"And when my head is wet, I\ngrow a horn on my forehead, like a unicorn. But I am NOT getting my hair wet\nright now.\" She said as she put her bracelet back on, and turned back into a\nwoman.\n \n\"Oh come now!\"\nSasha splashes at Syrinx, causing to flinch to protect her hair. He trots forward a little, turning his head all around,\nbut he can't find her, or her older brother. He jogs over to one of the humans\nthere, and tugged on his pants.\n \n\"Excuse me! Man?\" Arnaav\nsays. The man looked to him, and stares at the boy with widened eyes.\n \n\"Uhhh... Hi?\"\n \n\"Can you help me? I'm looking\nfor someone. A small girl about this tall,\" He held his hand up just above his\nhead, \"She has eyes like this,\" He then pulled the outer corners of his eyes to\nsimulate an Asian look, \"And she is with an older man who looks like her. Have\nyou seen her?\"\n \n\"I have not, son...\" The man\nblinked, \"Are you lost, boy? What happened to your clothes?\"\n \n\"My what?\" \n \n\"Well, you're buck naked son.\nWhere are your parents?\" He asked while Arnaav looked down on himself.\n \n\"Ah I forgot. Come back!\" The\nman said as he takes off his coat, \"Hang on!\" Arnaav dashes along the wood\nplanks, and leaps into the sea! \"OH MY GOD!\" The man stops short of the dock,\nand reaches out as he sees the kid splash into the water, \"W-What the hell??\"\nHe whips around, seeing the other cleaners approaching him, \"Th-There was a\nkid! He was alone and lost! He just dove into the sea!\"\n \n \n'I'm not getting anywhere.\nAll of the humans there have already gone home. Oh, if only Yuri was here,\nmaybe she might know...' The otter boy swims to a different part of the shore,\nand waddles out on all fours, shaking the water with a quick toss on the spot.\n\"I don't have time to find Yuri AND Fumiko. Humans grow dormant at this time of\nthe sun...\" Arnaav ponders, \"I need to make her happy as soon as I can...\" He looks\naround for anything that may help. His eyes spot a half-human half-serpent,\npartly tan skin and pinkish hair, and the lower half white and peach colored,\nlooking as if she is filing or inspecting her tail.\n \n\"Ooh! Belinda! Belinda!\"\nArnaav runs as fast as he can to her, almost tripping over himself a few times.\nBelinda turns as she hears her name and doubles back as she sees a somewhat\nunfamiliar child come up to her quickly.\n \n\"Ah- What??\" Belinda blinks\nas the small merman perched his paws upon the snake tail, his eyes beaming up\nat her, \"Who are you??\" She asked, \"What are you doing out of the sea?\"\n \n\"I'm looking from someone!\nCan you use your powers?? Please?\" Ignoring the scary fact that this mermaid is\nin fact the Latolcus that Adam talked about, Syrinx had a way of speaking about\nthis situation in a very beneficial way to Arnaav's young mind.\n \n\"I uhh...\" Belinda is really\nnot sure what to make of this. She does recall seeing this one around once or\ntwice...\n \n \n~~~\n \n \n\"Mmnnnnhh...\" Adam moaned as he\nslouches down in the hot tube, with Merrick straddled onto him, his naked butt\nsitting on his lap, with his trunks placed on the rim of the tub, his arms\nresting around Adam's shoulders and resting on the ridge, with his face resting\non one shoulder. The water continues to roll and bubble around them as they\nbathe naked together. Syrinx and Kevin are off on the train home, Yuri's off at\nthe hospital for some moonlighting, while Jamal, Nick, and Sasha are clubbing\nit hard at the King Tut gay bar.\n \n\"Guh...\" Merrick groaned. He\ndoesn't ever feel like getting out, feeling so soothed, relax, and sleepy. The\nhot water is starting to effect his level of energy, however.\n \n\"Raaaaaeeeeeer!\" Comes a high-pitched\nmeow. Adam looks around, hearing the sound of prin pricks ticking and plucking\nup on the corner, until his tiny kitten climbed onto the top of the hot tub.\n \n\"Hi Sky-Sky~\" Adam smiled.\n \n\"Reeeerr! Raaaaeerr.\" The\nkitten mews loudly as he walks along the damp wood over to them.\n \n\"Awwww, hi there~\" Adam held\nup his hand, just as the kitten comes up and sniffs as his dripping fingers.\nAdam giggles as that tiny tongue brushes against his flesh to lap up the water.\nSkyler walks along the ledge until he started to climb onto Adam's shoulder,\n\"Ooohhhhh, he's so cute~!\" Adam gushes as he nuzzled into the side fur of the\nsmall critter's tummy as he waked across his wet chest.\n \n\"Mhmmmm...\" Merrick groaned\nidly until he tenses suddenly, feeling a few sharp points pick at his flesh.\nAdam snickers as Merrick winces from Skyler's baby claws scaling his back,\n\"Adam, ow. He's... Fffffuck, my skin's 10 times more sensitive...!\" \n \n\"Ok, must be the hot water.\"\nAdam picks up the white kitty, before Merrick adjusted and moved away from him.\nSkyler murred curiously as Adam wades to the edge of the tub, and started to\nclimb out, \"Best thing about everyone out for the night,\" Merrick ogles Adam's\nmeaty, masculine rump as he climbs gets his trunks and a towel before setting\nSkyler down, \"Get to be naked outside.\" He said slyly.\n \n\"REEEER!\" The baby kitten\nclutches onto the towel as Adam starts to dry off his leg.\n \n\"Oh, look he...\" Adam chuckles\nand laughs as Skyler climbs up the towel up to Adam, \"Hahahaha, Sky-Sky, I\ngotta dry ooofff.\"\n \n\"I got it~\" Merrick says as\nhe come up behind Adam and starts to dry Adam's back. \n \n\"Oh, thanks, babe.\" Adam says\nas he picks up Skyler and pets him, purring so much the kitty is vibrating. \n \nMerrick wipes and brushes\nalong Adam's front from behind, down and around, until Merrick dries off those\nhairy legs, leaving the intimate parts for last. Dr Heffner works in the morgue; he\ndoesn't cooperate with people too well, so he normally works with dead ones so\nthey won't talk back.\"\n \n\"Well... Is he alright?! ...\" Daniel looks with bewilderment at her as she\nquickly grows tense, \"Alright, just lay him down, and put an ice pack over his\nhead, and the back of his neck if you have a spare... Yes, I'm on my way now.\nArigatou gozaimasu.\" She ends the call and turns around.\n \n\"W-What's going on??\" Daniel\ntrots next to her.\n \n\"My roommate's brother is\npassed out at my ex's place. His place has been robbed, and the kid was\nunconscious around the corner. I need to go right now.\" Yuri said as she\nstarted to jog.\n \n\"D-Do you need any help??\" He\nasked.\n \n\"I got it handled.
