{"sf1_id":1070720,"sf2_id":null,"title":"A Dragon's Path - Chapter Four","author":"cyrilthenightfury","words":584,"posted_at":"2016-09-12T19:05:00.000Z","tags":["Deadly nadder","Digestion","Dragon","How to Train Your Dragon","Vore (soft)","httyd"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/1070720-a-dragon-s-path-chapter-four","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/view/1070720","image_url":"https://www.sofurryfiles.com/std/thumb?page=1070720\u0026ext=.jpg","description":"Thumbnail by: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/amnesiaaisenma","content":"A Dragon's Path\n\nChapter Four:\n\nNightclaw\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nShe decided to visit Nightclaw first.\u0026nbsp; Her parents had each other to keep themselves company, but Nightclaw had nobody.\u0026nbsp; They could wait longer than he could.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAdjusting her course, Skytail started to head for Nightclaw's cave.\u0026nbsp; As she flew, she started to tune out, and enjoy the feeling of the humans wriggling in her gut, trying in futility to escape the impending digestion.\u0026nbsp; Juices were starting to trickle in, and if she listened carefully, she could just faintly hear her stomach gurgling.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nEventually, she found herself close to his cave, and tuned back into her surroundings.\u0026nbsp; Just as the cave came into sight, she spotted the Monstrous Nightmare; a large, dark purple dragon, with a pale underbelly and bright yellow eyes.\u0026nbsp; The two of them saw each other at the same time, and immediately started to fly towards each other.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Nightclaw!\" Skytail yelled as she came within shouting distance.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Skytail!\" he called back.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nFinally, when they were close enough, they both stopped, flapping their wings at a steady pace to hover midair.\u0026nbsp; Nightclaw looked up and down her body, and she noticed his gaze stop on her swollen, wriggling gut.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Ah,\" he said.\u0026nbsp; \"I see you've eaten.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nSkytail nodded.\u0026nbsp; \"Yep,\" she said.\u0026nbsp; \"I snagged a couple humans from their village just now.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Were they good?\" he asked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You bet they were,\" Skytail replied.\u0026nbsp; \"Humans are so delicious...\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nNightclaw smirked.\u0026nbsp; \"Indeed, they are...\u0026nbsp; I was just on my way to have some myself... and then I was going to see you, actually!\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Oh?\" Skytail replied.\u0026nbsp; \"What about?\u0026nbsp; Just coming to say hi?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Well... Yes...\" Nightclaw confirmed.\u0026nbsp; \"But also... I wanted to ask you something...\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"What is it?\" Skytail asked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Well... How to say this...\" Nightclaw took a deep breath as he looked for words.\u0026nbsp; \"I'm leaving,\" he announced.\u0026nbsp; \"I wanted to know if you would... come with me?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nSkytail cocked her head in a mix of confusion and curiosity.\u0026nbsp; _Does he mean what I think he means...?_ She thought.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Leave?\" she asked. \u0026nbsp;\"To where?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Somewhere else,\" Nightclaw replied.\u0026nbsp; \"Anywhere but this island.\u0026nbsp; I've been feeling... restless lately.\u0026nbsp; I've spent my entire life here, and I think it's time to go out and see the world.\"\u0026nbsp; He looked Skytail in the eyes.\u0026nbsp; \"I was wondering if you felt the same way.\u0026nbsp; I'd love to have a companion on my travels...\u0026nbsp; Someone to share the journeys with.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n_Yes... He does._\n\n_\u0026nbsp;_\n\nSkytail tried to open her mouth and respond, but the words wouldn't come out.\u0026nbsp; Yes, she had been wanting to leave... She had been feeling the same sense of restlessness.\u0026nbsp; But the possibility had never really seemed... well, possible.\u0026nbsp; She had always had a difficult time imagining herself living anywhere but this island.\u0026nbsp; How could she just leave her home like that?\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nBut yet... The urge remained.\u0026nbsp; The world was bigger than what she knew here; her parents had told her that much.\u0026nbsp; Why shouldn't she go out to see it?\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n_My parents..._ she thought.\u0026nbsp; _I can't just leave without telling them..._\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nWell, she was going to see them anyway.\u0026nbsp; She could tell them then.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nBut yet, she still wasn't sure.\u0026nbsp; This island was her home...
