I cannot compare you to stars above,

For your light glistens more than they.

I am not worthy to ask for your love,

And as such, I wish my regrets away.

Your beauty has enthralled me for so long,

I cannot suppress the love that I feel.

Despite being told my feelings are wrong,

I know, without a doubt, that they are real.

It pains me to know my voice shan't be heard.

My love for you only to be expressed

Here, a tribute birthed in the written word.

Already some believe I have transgressed.

Sweet Silver, my sin is the love I hold.

Love greater than anything I have told.
