Ment-all...

Among my day, my actions were those chosen with eyes closed

Chosen out of opportunities never proposed

I knew better, or so I thought as I lost my way

Even in the dark, memories of wrong & right were hard to say

The floor crumbled as I stumbled among regret filled promises broken

I fell into self pity piled high among actions poorly chosen

For the fray, the skies turned grey, forgetting tomorrow needs today

From pure intention, little did I mention, I had forgotten who I was, I had gone astray

Among the middle of many one-sided thoughts needing to be worked out

I found clear answers completely clouded with nothing but doubt

Correct only for a moment one could never guarantee

Caution became countless, priceless, to those demanding a needed fee

Free never the word it stands for

We give all to hopefully receive, one day, while we feel we still need it, more

Another grain of salt, reasoning among the seashore

We accidentally or otherwise, make actions for others they can't really ignore

Life...

Simple...

Told in few words when need be...

Mute those who chose in so many, to promise such a forgettable guarantee...

My opinion anyhow, it's just another, the one I look to, the one worthwhile I see...
