{"sf1_id":1094860,"sf2_id":"dmBz8GQm","title":"Re-lies...","author":"Jiblits","words":335,"posted_at":"2016-11-09T13:07:00.000Z","tags":["Poem","Short Story","Sloce of life"],"url":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/1094860-re-lies","original_url":"https://sofurry.com/s/dmBz8GQm","image_url":"https://cdn.sofurryfiles.com/submissions/thumbnails/d1/63/d163020a-3839-40eb-a7bd-ba7d8cae6b69","description":"","content":"Re-lies...\n\n  \n\n\"I forget sometimes, people are people...\"\n\nOne-sided, misguided, delusional, \u0026 beyond most worthwhile reasons\n\nIt shows \u0026 hides well among the ever-changing seasons\n\n  \n\nWith smile like crocodiles, tears from practice over the years, it's easy to forget such talents exist these days\n\nWhether aware, or clueless, without a care, they go about misguided self-reassured ways\n\n  \n\nBlessed in bliss, they miss the risk most see worthless\n\n  \n\nAs the sunsets, those who know them well place bets, what'll be done in the name of a semi-moment of one-sided fun\n\n  \n\nIt's rarely a joke worth a second laugh, or sharing beyond a head-nod, barely remembered by another\n\nAt times, it seems, even in eyes as the actions take place, it doesn't seem worth the bother\n\n  \n\nGentle today seems to mean being mean with a smile\n\nArguments based solely on a past reason, long settled with actual emotional intent all the while\n\n  \n\nToday, without real problems, most rationalize wants with priority above anything more\n\nThe fighting seems all too shallow, in a sea of possibility, among the words spoken, there's not much to explore\n\nEither against or for, in only a small way at that\n\nThey've forgotten what it means to half-heartedly try...to give all being the original correct life-long format\n\nEven then, it left space for interpretation\u0026nbsp;\n\nNot one-sided negative possibility being the main point of persuasion\n\nSuch a sad future, our family trees turned to weeds at some point, never finding common ground to grow\n\nImaginations seeming lost among sound minds mute to those who claim the loudest to know...\n\n  \n\nWe may never see all or any of our dreams come true, but trying is enough in itself, the chance, the ones we all can achieve before a future we dreamt can come to fruition\u0026nbsp;\n\nDon't follow so plain all the same, the crowd wandering aloud\n\nWhat's a tomorrow better than today without ambition...\n\n  \n\n  \n\n  \n\n---Thanks for reading---\n\n\u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp;---Always---\n  \n  \n\n"}
