Let us enjoy the view together, shall we?\"\n\nHe rolled his eyes in annoyance and murmured something for himself, but started smiling as soon as he turned around and found out that she is staring at him with her beautiful blue eyes that reflected the starlight as mountain lakes reflect the sun rays. She looked truly gorgeous.\n\nWalking around her, he caressed her thigh, bruised with a long scar from a past battle. Her grey scales were still torn of in that very spot as they never grew back.\n\nShe breathed out a cloud of smoke, whilst constantly tasting the air with her forked tongue.\n\nHe sat next to her, looking on stars and admiring the view in front of them.\n\nThey were on top of a cliff, with stormy sea deep beneath them. The sun was just setting, its last rays were falling upon them it was getting darker with every passing moment.\n\n\"The view is awesome, but what do you think about the stars? We humans believe that they are lost souls, that wander endlessly around the earth.\"\n\nShe chuckled softly.\n\n\"What did I say?\n\n\"Do humans really believe in that?\"\n\nShe seemed to be honestly surprised.\n\n\"Yes! I-I mean what else should we believe in? It seems to be quite obvious when you think about it...\"\n\nHer bright blue eyes were sparkling in the sun rays.\n\n\"Dragons believe that those are other worlds quite similar to one we live on.\"\n\nShe was gazing on the sky again.\n\n\"We believe that they are inhabited aswell and that other dragons live there in peace and harmony.\"\n\nMy poor little dragoness, she really seems to believe in that nonsense.\n\n\"Who knows, you could be right.\"\n\nHe stroke her front leg.\n\n\"I guess we'll never know for sure.\"\n\n\"It is sad. I would love to know that and I would love to visit those worlds and-\"\n\nHe unnecessarily loudly clears his throat.\n\n\"-and I would love to meet those lost souls that have nothing better to do than to fly around and shine.\"\n\nShe laughed on him until he suddenly hugged her to end the argument.\n\n\"Whoa! What are you doing down there?\"\n\nShe bent her long neck to have a better look on her raider and friend.\n\n\"Nothing, nothing...\"\n\n\"If I had eyebrows like you humans do, I would probably raise one right now.\"\n\nShe licked his cheek with her tongue, marking it with\u0026nbsp;a thin line of saliva.\n\n\"Yeah I think we should watch the sunset now.\"\n\nHe caressed her side again.\n\n\"This reminds me of the time I hatched, the first time when I saw the sunlight after I got out from the eggshell.\"\n\n\"I bet that no one as handsome as I am was present at that time.\"\n\nShe giggled again.\n\n\"Very funny,\"\n\n\"Remember when you dragged around my pants and used them as your hiding place?\"\n\n\"No.\"\n\n\"Oh come on, you have to remember that!\"\n\n\"No such thing happened.\"\n\nShe tried to keep a neutral tone, but he saw right through that.\n\n\"I swear you are blushing right now!\"\n\nHe stroke her side again.\n\n\"I will always love you and protect you\u0026nbsp;my dearest friend.\"\n\nSmiling, he kissed her on her cheek again.\n\n\"Oh what would I do without a big lizard by my side?\"\n\nThe both laughed and then they\u0026nbsp;watched the sky long into the night.\u0026nbsp;Careless, blind and deaf to the troubles of the world, each enjoying the presence of the other and the beauty of the moment."}
