For this poetry posting, the first poem will be the one that is of the more salacious nature, as the second has heavier themes and I'd rather not force one of you to read it, should it be a topic you're uncomfortable with.\u0026nbsp;\n\nThere's a repeating structural theme in the two poems for this posting. A villanelle is a poem consisting of nineteen verses (five tercets, or stanzas of three verses each) and a quatrain at the end. The rhyme scheme is a confusing A1bA2 abA1 abA2 abA1 abA2 abA1A2, in which A1 and A2 are refrains that are repeated throughout the poem. Thankfully, that's as complicated as it gets.\n\n* * *\n\n### Tireless Tiger\n\nStretching and squirming and sat on my knot /\n\nI drive myself deeper, he roars as I rut /\n\nThat tireless tiger coils tighter and taut /\u0026nbsp;\n\nAt the bar boozing I slavishly sought /\n\nA kindred companion, a match for this mutt /\n\nStretching and squirming and sat on my knot /\n\nA few dogged drinks for him have been bought /\n\nHis paw on my pouch, and mine on his butt /\n\nThat tireless tiger coils tighter and taut /\u0026nbsp;\n\nLater we're lurid and striking his spot /\n\nI punish and pound him, for that he's a glut /\n\nStretching and squirming and sat on my knot /\n\nHe rumbles, I howl, to all in earshot /\n\nHe delights in displaying his status of slut /\n\nThat tireless tiger coils tighter and taut /\u0026nbsp;\n\nEagerly so, to the edge he's been brought /\n\nI feel myself empty deep into his gut /\n\nStretching and squirming and sat on my knot /\n\nThat tireless tiger coils tighter and taut.\n\n* * *\n\nBelow is a rondeau of the shortest form possible (eight verses), which is addressed towards those who feel like they're at the end of their rope. It seems cliché, but for many, these are trying times. People are hurting, and deeply so; yet we don't notice. There are those who feel as though they've been wounded and have been slowly dying for years, but they manage to hide how crushing and how destructive that wound is. I implore each and every one of you to reach out to those you care about, as by the time their distress becomes obvious, things often have already festered. Offer them help, offer them support; and no matter what, offer your ear, so as to give them a voice.\n\n* * *\n\nThis is a warning /\n\nPlease don't read below this point /\n\nIf it's not your speed.\n\n* * *\n\n### Your Darkest Hour\n\nIn times of need, your darkest hour,\n\nPlease look around; you're not alone.\u0026nbsp;\n\nWhile all may seem out of your power,\n\nIn times of need, your darkest hour,\u0026nbsp;\n\nWhen all your hopes dread does devour,\u0026nbsp;\n\nWhen your defeat seems set in stone,\n\nIn times of need, your darkest hour,\n\nPlease look around; you're not alone.\n\n* * *\n\n-Charles Michael Averin","series":{"name":"Old/Archive","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/1114278-tying-the-knot-shame.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/1117318-the-bickering-couplet-degradation.json"}}
