**Consider the possibility that you're actually a wizard, and the thin gnarled wooden stick is your wand.**

You consider the possibility and pick up the **thin gnarled wooden stick** ( **WAND!** ). It would be _wicked_if you were a wizard! Imagine the possibilities! The whole world at your beck and call, to be bent to your every whim and whimsy!

**Gnaw on the thin gnarled wooden stick (WAND!!!).**

Common sense quietly reminds you that if the wand really is an item of arcane properties, this might be a terrible idea. Common sense is a rare commodity which you do not possess yet.

You give the **wand** a tiny nibble. You do not explode.

It tastes of bark.

... You don't know what you expected.

_ **Wand** added to inventory._

_Something has changed..._

**Give yourself a name.**

A name would be a good idea. You nibble on your **wand** while trying to remember what your name was, to no avail. Is now the right time to rename yourself?
