He followed his master out of the apartment to the rooftop, barely aware that there hadn’t been a set of stairs up there before, and stood in silence as the helicopter came down. \n \nAs his master stood with his arms at his side, Darren was aware of many things at once. The feeling of wind rushing by his nearly-naked body was one of the biggest ones, making everything flap about from the breeze from his hair to his cock, but he felt no need to cover himself. There hadn’t been an order do to that, so he kept himself as still as he could by his master. \n \nHe was aware of the fact that the people in the helicopter were dressed like security, with suits and weapons at their hips. \n \nHe was aware of the fact that it was just before dawn, and that no normal helicopter would be landing on top of this apartment building. \n \nHe was aware of the fact that his master had done something to him, something to make it impossible to do anything but obey. \n \nDarren was aware of all these facts and more, but with one crucial difference. None of it mattered at that point in time. What questions he had were smothered. What curiosities rose up were cut down. All that mattered was obeying the snow leopard at his side and making his master’s life easier. \n \nHe remained still as the other anthros bustled his master into the helicopter, and it wasn’t until the master called him that he hurried into the helicopter, joining with the rest of them. It took off, and he was given a small jacket to wear. \n \nThen, and only because it was something that would let him help his master, did he turn his head towards the snow leopard and ask a question. \n \n“Where are we going?” \n \n“Kusan City. You will like it there, I believe.” \n \nKusan City. His hyper-focused brain took that name and compared it to everything that he’d looked up, read about, and thought about visiting, and came up with precisely one match. \n \nIt was a city out in southwest Asia, well away from anywhere else that called itself civilization. It hadn’t even been a city until about six or seven years ago, when someone carved it out of the jungle and pulled people together, imposing some sort of law on it. He remembered reading about it, considering it as a destination, before finding out that visitation required too much paperwork for him to be able to fill out. \n \nIt seemed he was going there anyway, though in a very different capacity. \n \nBefore Darren could say anything else, his master gestured at him. He looked up at the snow leopard’s eyes as they started to spin, a dark slice in the iris turning around. \n \n“Sleep.” \n \nAnd so he did. \n \n# \n \n“…and in the wake of the deaths of two businessmen, Novus Ager police forces had this to –” \n \nHe groaned as he woke up, reaching for the remote control that lay nearby. Darren picked it off of the nightstand, pointed it at the TV, and it was only when he finished turning the news program off that he realized he’d done it completely automatically. \n \nWhy? \n \nHe looked around, finding himself in a bed bigger than anything that he’d ever owned back in Novus Ager, with sheets that felt like someone had poured silk around him and left it to fit to his body, and pillows that were softer than the most groomed fur. He pulled himself up against the headboard, taking in the opulence of the rest of the room. \n \nIt was like someone had pulled him from a common apartment and given him a palace. How – \n \nDarren groaned, leaning forward as a flicker of memories passed through him. Departure, arrival, settling in to his new home. It hit him in a flash of short images. \n \nFollowing a strange, dangerous feline onto a helicopter. \n \nStepping off of it into a place that mixed jungle and concrete, wildness and civilization in equal measure. \n \nMouth around a barbed cock while in a limo. \n \nArrival, baptizing his bed as his employer fucked his ass. \n \nMeetings, meetings, so many meetings. \n \nMornings going to the adjacent room to meet his – \n \n“Master.” \n \nHe said it without even knowing it, and he realized that he wasn’t in his own room anymore. Darren looked over his shoulder, seeing the trail of displaced sheets through the door behind him, and turned back to what was in front of him. \n \nA snow leopard lay in the nude on a huge bed, stretched out with his legs spread and his head supported on his arms. He knew that it was the same one that had brought him here, wherever here was – \n \nKusan City. \n \nWho had brought him to Kusan City, and was the one who had been using and employing him for the last…three days? It felt right, that. \n \nThe master lifted his tail, showing off a fuzzy but firm rear. Memories of waking his master with his tongue filled his mind, and he moved without thought, falling to his knees at the base of the bed before spreading the master’s ass cheeks. \n \nHe saw the master’s tight hole before he leaned in, dragging his tongue across it. A soft rumble filled the room at the contact, and Darren smiled to himself, dragging his tongue across the slightly musky pink hole again, and again, feeling it twitch against him as his master enjoyed the attention. \n \nThere was a temptation to sink into his service for the snow leopard, letting himself just do the act and not think about anything else. Darren remembered that feeling, remembered giving into it the previous three days, but today…he didn’t. \n \nInstead, he remained ‘awake’ as he kept licking, dragging his tongue across that tight pucker, tasting musk and a tiny bit of sweat along with the bit of bitterness that came from flesh. He dragged his tongue along, working the hole over as he thought about where he was, and more importantly, why he was here. \n \nWho is this? he wondered, dragging his tongue across the feline’s hole again and again, feeling it twitch beneath him. He remembered a few times when he’d done some ‘dancing’ for people that he’d gone home with them, and that he’d ended up doing some morning ‘favors’ as well, so this wasn’t so surprising. But usually he could remember who he was doing it for. \n \nHe tried to puzzle it out as his body mechanically continued with its work. His cock throbbed between his legs, and he groaned as he dragged his tongue over the pink flesh, pressing at the center from time to time. The temptation was there to stroke himself, which surprised him. Rimming had always been something that he’d done as a courtesy, not as something that he got into. \n \nThe rumble from earlier had grown to a full-on purr, and he felt the snow leopard shift position, lifting himself up and pushing back. Darren went along with it, letting his face be smothered between the furry, surprisingly hard cheeks as the feline pushed back at him. He kept licking for another few seconds before the pressure lifted. \n \n“Good, servant. I’m starting to get used to this wake-up call.” \n \nServant. Another clue? He had been working in a hotel before this, but he’d never provided this kind of service to someone else before. Was this snow leopard some guest that had convinced him to come out, or – \n \nInvasion, break-in. Snow leopard in a white suit bursting into his bathroom, staring at him, swirling eyes… \n \nNo, no, it wasn’t someone from the hotel. \n \nYet, despite his confusion, he couldn’t bring himself to ask a question. Instead, he just stood there, completely naked, as the feline started getting dressed. It was the same white suit from his memory, or at the very least, one just like it, that the smaller male put on. Darren merely stood at attention until the master had pulled on his shirt, jacket, pants, and shoes, and only then did he get a chance to say something…but not what he meant to say. \n \n“Do you need anything else today, master?” \n \n“No. There’s a meeting shortly that I have to attend. Take some time to yourself; visit the market, if you wish, but remain within ten blocks of the tower.” \n \nTower? was what he wanted to say. Instead, he just nodded. The snow leopard nodded in return, then paused, looking at him. \n \nHe felt like he was under a microscope as the feline stared at him. Those black eyes, the strange little ‘scratch’ on the iris that he remembered spinning around in the past: it was like looking into something unnatural, something powerful, beyond many of the supers from his home city. For a moment, he felt like he wasn’t measuring up. \n \nThen the moment passed, and the feline turned away. \n \n“If you need clothes, call Ms. Reddings from the room. She will bring you what you need. I’ll be back by sunset, and I expect you here.” \n \n“Yes, master.” \n \nThe words slipped free again before he could stop them, and he didn’t understand why he said that. He was a free man, or had been when he was still in Novus Ager. Had he said something? Had he done something with this feline? \n \nThe snow leopard walked out, leaving him alone, and Darren walked back to his room. It felt almost mechanical as he did, and he couldn’t quite figure out why. He was choosing to do this, wasn’t he? He… \n \nHe honestly couldn’t remember. \n \nGet yourself a shower. You always feel better after a shower, and you might think more clearly. \n \nGiven that there was an adjoining bathroom to his room, he walked in, only to immediately stop and stare at the mirror. \n \nThe sight of his body wasn’t so strange; he’d posed in front of mirrors many times, on and off the stage, and he was used to seeing his long, chocolate-y cock hanging between his legs, or his braids hanging down over his chest. What he wasn’t used to seeing was the paw-print on his chest, or on his ass. \n \nHe turned to the side to get a better look, but there was no doubt it was there. Completely black compared to his brown skin, it popped out like crazy. It wasn’t like a feral paw-print, either, but more like a footprint that had pads on the bottom. Like… \n \nLike that snow leopard, he thought, remembering how the feline had looked spread out on the bed. Yes, his foot would have been about that size… \n \nWhat in the world happened? \n \nDarren could almost feel the memories, but they were still just out of reach. He took a deep breath, and let it out. Another, and let it out. It was the same ritual for when he’d found out a one-night stand had bigger issues than just loneliness, such as finding a drug stash in the guy’s closet or waking up with a plug rammed up his ass that felt so much bigger when he wasn’t in the moment. \n \nThe memories didn’t come, but some calmness did. It was enough to let him get in the shower and clean up. \n \nWhen the steam cleared and he stepped back into the room, he felt better. Not great yet, but better. He sat on the edge of his bed, and tried to think. \n \nHis memory was fuzzy, but little pieces of it were coming back. The meetings, mostly, where he’d followed his master – Mr. Lee, he remembered, was the snow leopard’s name – to different parts of the city and listened as the snow leopard directed different projects, or demanded certain payments. \n \nThe more he thought, the more Mr. Lee stood out as a ruthless individual. He remembered Mr. Lee staring down one business owner, eyes locked, until the rhino had collapsed and signed over a controlling interest in his company. He remembered when someone had interrupted a meeting, only to be sent out with a limp that he couldn’t remember how the person had gotten. He remembered Mr. Lee scattering a group with some sort of explosion, though he couldn’t remember how or why. \n \nAll in all, it left him worried about his future. \n \n“Okay…okay. He said I could leave the place, and that’s something I should do. Call…call Ms. Reddings for clothes, and then see what I can see.” \n \nHe was used to rough places, after all. He had been in the darker parts of Novus Ager, both willingly and because the city had shifted around him. There weren’t many, of course – the villains weren’t that strong and the city was nice – but he’d been there and been fine. No need to worry about whatever he’d find here. \n \nOne phone call and a short wait later, he had his clothes, if one could call them that. A tight shirt that barely fit and a pair of pants that hugged his ass tighter than a thong was all he got, leaving him barefoot, but at least it was better than going out and literally shaking his ass for everyone, and at least it hid the pawprints. \n \nHe walked out of the little suite, and made his way down the white and black hall towards the elevator. The doors opened, and carried him down in a glass capsule towards the ground level. \n \nKusan City. Yeah, it can’t be as bad as the stories…I hope… \n \nThe elevator dinged, letting him out at the lobby of the building. He immediately realized that it wasn’t a hotel, considering all the businessmen and the lack of any sort of internal décor. The walls were seemingly made of reflective chrome, and made all the images condense downwards, pushing down on everybody in a mirrored dome. Everyone could see everyone, and the architecture was such that he could hear conversations from every part of the room. \n \nHe held his hands over his ears until he was outside. Immediately breaking out in a sweat as he was hit with the humid heat of the day, Darren started to look around, only to immediately start hopping from one foot to the other. \n \n“Ow, ow, hot, hot, hot!” \n \nThe pavement was covered in grates leading up to the building, and he had to run to get from them to the comparatively cooler sidewalk. Even so, his feet tingled from the incidental burning sensation that he got from walking across them, and he shook his head rapidly as he looked back the way he’d come. \n \nBut, at least now he was out of the tower. He could take a look around, and if he didn’t like it…maybe he could leave? \n \nHe wasn’t sure. After all, Mr. Lee had said to come back, but he felt like he’d been asleep for a while, now. Maybe there was something different going on. \n \nHe walked down the street, passing by a number of cars in the narrow lanes. The drivers were quiet, orderly. No honking happened, which felt rather strange to him after the busy streets of Novus Ager. He expected at least one person to honk out of impatience, but instead, it was utterly silent. Even the cars were quiet. \n \nUnable to take that for long, he turned down the first alley that he found. It led him off of the main roads and further into the city, and he soon found himself following his nose, a delicious smell of food driving him on. \n \nFrom there, it didn’t take long to arrive at the market. It was like something out of time, sprawling and spread out over bamboo and wooden stalls, where foods of all sorts seemed to come out, from fried to baked to preserved. Anthros and humans spread out, some of them buying, others selling, and always shouting. The noise was chaotic and thunderous, but at the same time, free and boisterous, a complete opposite to the lobby in the tower and the quiet streets. \n \nHe shook his head, walking over to one of the stalls and looking at the wares. There seemed to be a number of different things, including some fried dough and baked buns filled with meat. Smiling at one that looked like it was filled with pork, he leaned in a bit closer – \n \n“Hey, gonna buy that?” \n \n“Huh?” \n \nThe stall owner, some sort of crocodile, pointed at the container. \n \n“You ain’t buying, don’t get too close. I don’t want others to miss it.” \n \n“Um, how much does it cost?” \n \n“3 kredits.” \n \n“…I don’t know if I have –” \n \n“You don’t know, then keep moving, eh? No offense, but browsers ain’t bringing in anything.” \n \n“Yeah, sure. No problem.” \n \nHe nodded, glad that the shopkeeper wasn’t as nasty as some, though wishing that he’d been a little more civil at the same time. He walked down the market lanes, occasionally pulling at his pants to re-adjust them, and wishing that he’d thought to ask Mr. Lee for some money. His stomach was growling at the various delicious smells around him. \n \nHe was almost at the end of the market when he found something else. Two people were whispering in an alley, muttering to each other about ‘Lee’, and his own curiosity drove him closer. \n \n“Excuse me?” \n \nThe rat and orca turned around, the latter wearing some sort of contraption with sprayers at the top, misting the orca constantly. Considering the sheer heat of the city, he couldn’t blame him. Darren cleared his throat. \n \n“Um, I’m new here. What were you talking about?” \n \n“New, huh? You better get out of here, then,” the orca said. \n \n“Hey, hey, don’t be so hasty. I’ve been hearing stories…” \n \nThe rat smiled, and Darren could almost feel the slime coming off of the smaller male. The rat bowed. \n \n“Pardon my partner. Lucas isn’t, perhaps, the nicest of people. We were just talking about the real ruler of this city, Kai Lee. Perhaps you might know him?” \n \n“…I know a Mr. Lee…” \n \n“Ah, that would be him. A snow leopard, of course, slinky and shifty, with strange powers?” \n \nDarren slowly nodded. That sounded like Mr. Lee, alright. \n \nThe rat nodded in return, and gestured him over. Despite his misgivings, he did take a step forward, sliding out of the market and into the little alley that the two of them were in. The orca – Lucas, he assumed – made some space for him as the rat continued. \n \n“You must forgive Lucas. Ever since Mr. Lee took away his business two years back, he hasn’t been too keen on anything that the snow leopard has done. But then again, you must know more than that.” \n \n“Why do you say that?” Darren asked. “And who are you, anyway?” \n \n“I’m just a trader, name of Ramak. It isn’t important.” \n \nRamak. The name rang a bell, one that he remembered Mr. Lee tapping on a few times. Nothing more than recognition came, however, but he knew that he should know it. Hoping that he could play for time and that it would come to him, he shrugged, and Ramak continued. \n \n“And I say it because I’ve been hearing stories of a dark-skinned human accompanying Mr. Lee to the various meetings he has across the city. Perhaps even going far enough as to hear the secrets of these sealed meetings?” \n \n“…” \n \n“Come, come, don’t be shy. You have to know something about that. There aren’t that many humans in the city, after all.” \n \n“I might, but it’s foggy.” \n \n“Ugh. Looking for a bribe, human?” \n \n“Lucas, calm down…” \n \nThe orca grunted, turning away, and Darren started to look for a way out. It wouldn’t be easy. The alley was thin, after all, and the orca was blocking his way back towards the market. He might be able to dart past Ramak, but he felt that it was something of a long shot, at best. \n \nThe name pulled on strings in his head, something about bondage, but it still wasn’t coming. Darren shook his head. \n \n“I’m not looking for a bribe. I’m serious. I can remember…some things, yeah, but it’s not like it’s the most clear.” \n \n“Heh. Let me guess. You can see him threatening people, I imagine?” \n \nDarren slowly nodded. \n \n“And taking over businesses? Causing explosions? Looking scary as all hell?” \n \nDarren couldn’t help but nod yes, as they were all there. \n \n“Perhaps you’ve handled papers, as well? Papers with various numbers all over them? Don’t look so surprised. I know how he works; he doesn’t let a normal person touch them.” \n \n“What do you mean, normal person?” \n \n“Heh, haven’t you figured it out yet?” \n \nThe rat tapped the side of his head, looking for all the world like a sleazy entrepreneur dealing with a slow customer. \n \n“You’ve been controlled, human. That snow leopard uses those eyes of his to make people do things. You probably can’t remember much because you’ve been told. But looks like it’s fading a bit. Starting to remember some things, aren’t you?” \n \nHe was, and the more that he remembered, the more disconcerted he felt. Worse, he knew just where he was. \n \nThe market wasn’t a dangerous place, but it bordered one. The deep market just south of here was home of the slavers and the other people that had called the city home before it was a city, and they still operated out of there, though under greater strictures. Ramak, too, was more familiar. A slaver that Mr. Lee had done…something…to, and whose little empire had come crashing down. \n \nLucas didn’t ring any bells yet, but he was something. \n \nAs he realized that, the rat threw an arm around his shoulders, pulling him down until they were on the same eye level. \n \n“So, I was thinking. Kai Lee probably had you do a number of things that involved his financial numbers.” \n \n“I guess he might have. I remember a few things.” \n \n“Why don’t you start listing off a few of those numbers? Lucas here has a marvelous connection to a private wi-fi source, and we can check that right now. You’re already slipping out of the whole mind-bondage thing; give me that information, and I’ll give you half the funds so you can get back home. Bet you’re missing it, wherever you came from.” \n \nDarren shook his head, ducking out from under the rat’s arm. He backed up until he bumped into the bigger orca, doing his best not to look over his shoulder. The last thing he needed was for the pair of them to think that he was getting scared; he remembered that much from some thugs in his past. \n \n“Look, I’m not saying that I remember anything. I barely know where I am…” \n \nNo, I know just where I am, and I know what I’ve been doing, he thought, fighting a blush as all sorts of mental images came crashing down through his memory as it almost downloaded the last three days in their entirety. So much business, and so much debauchery in such a short time. \n \nThe rat stepped forward, grabbing him by the shirt before he could continue. It popped one of the buttons, almost revealing the pawprint on his chest as Ramak shook his head. \n \n“You remember something. You telling me that you’re siding with the asshole that zonked you out rather than someone offering you a way out?” \n \n“…Frankly, yes.” \n \n“What the – why? Why the hell would you - you have a chance to get away, and you’re throwing it out the window? Why?” \n \n“Three reasons. One, I just remembered who you are, and the last time my people listened to slavers, bad things happened. Two, I remember why he shut you down. Three…I want to talk to him myself.” \n \nThe rat stared at him, mouth working in silence, while Darren looked up and over his shoulder. Lucas was completely still, but still blocked off the rest of the alley. He didn’t think he could climb up the muscular mountain of a man, and he doubted that he could just push Ramak aside, either. \n \nBut at the same time, he wasn’t going to trust them. \n \n“So…can I –” \n \n“I believe that congratulations are in order.” \n \nAll three of them turned upwards, looking to the top of the small buildings at their sides. Standing at the edge of it was a familiar snow leopard, slowly clapping his hands before dropping down. His black shoes clicked against the alley floor, and Darren let out a deep breath of relief. \n \nKai Lee looked back and forth. \n \n“Release him.” \n \nAnd just like that, he was free. Ramak and Lucas stood there, staring forward, and gradually, Darren put the pieces together. He turned to the snow leopard. \n \n“They’re under your control, too, aren’t they?” \n \n“I wasn’t going to risk a loss of something valuable.” \n \nHe felt a strange surge of pride at that, but didn’t have a chance to say anything as Kai Lee turned around, walking away from the market to the other end of the alley. He followed along, unable to think of a reason why he shouldn’t. \n \nThey walked alongside the quiet roads again, and the snow leopard was completely silent. Darren followed just a pace behind, trying to find his words, trying to find something to say. For that matter, he was still trying to organize his thoughts about what had just happened. \n \nHe knew that I wasn’t completely controlled. Did he do that on purpose, or was he letting it slip by accident and took advantage of the opportunity? He must have set something up; no one improvises that fast. But why? Did he think that I’d just stab him in the back? \n \nA reasonable thought, to be fair. He’d been not quite kidnapped by the snow leopard, and controlled from the start of their little relationship up until this point. And it was just up until this point; there was no feeling of mechanical walking now, no feeling of being pulled along by something outside of his control. This was him, and he was thinking, and he was aware. \n \nThis was all him…and he still chose to follow behind Mr. Lee. \n \n“…Sir?” \n \n“Yes, servant?” \n \n“Did you think that I’d turn on you?” \n \n“No.” \n \n“Then why –” \n \n“I wanted to be sure.” \n \nThe snow leopard shrugged. \n \n“One can always have hypnotized and controlled aides. It makes for a simple means of security, but at the same time, there is the weakness that they will do something that will put me and those that I am responsible for at risk. If I leave someone under control and they despise me, hate me, then there is a risk that they might be turned against me at some point. The control is not perfect, and it can slip. If you were someone like that, if you would become a risk, I wished to find out now rather than later. \n \n“But you weren’t. And so, I can keep you here.” \n \n“And you think I want to stay?” \n \nMr. Lee turned, slowly, and Darren paused as he looked down at the snow leopard. His ‘employer’ reached up and casually snipped off another button on his shirt, and this time, Darren did blush as the paw mark on his chest was exposed. \n \nIt only got worse as Mr. Lee’s claws continued to flick out, snapping each button one by one. He felt like he could stop the feline, but at the same time, he felt like he shouldn’t. Like…like this was part of Mr. Lee’s rights, or something. Button after button came free, and Mr. Lee’s eyes never left his. They never spun, never controlled him, but they always stared. \n \nSoon, his shirt buttons were completely gone, leaving his chest and stomach exposed, and the claw flicked down to his pants. Darren gasped, but didn’t move, even when Mr. Lee gave him a chance. The button on the jeans came loose, and with it, so did a few other things, flopping out of his pants and into the open. \n \n“You choose not to stop me.” \n \n“…” \n \n“I know what you want, servant. You told me yourself. And as long as you continue to be useful, and loyal, I will be keeping you.” \n \n“How…what did I tell you?” \n \nMr. Lee smiled. \n \n“Now that, I believe, I will keep to myself. There is little reason to tell you everything, after all, and surprises are occasionally fun. Now, follow.” \n \nThe snow leopard turned around, and despite his embarrassment, Darren followed with his cock and balls flopping around on the street. He felt eyes on him, but no one seemed willing to say anything. He wondered why, but then he remembered. \n \nThe real ruler of the city, Kai Lee… \n \nIt must have been the mark on his chest. He was Mr. Lee’s personal…person, for lack of a better term, and the rules must not have applied to him. What had Mr. Lee done out here, to make it such a haven for himself, where the normal rules didn’t apply? \n \nHe walked along, trying to ignore the stares and very thankful for just how tight the pants were as they stayed up the whole way back to the lobby. They went up the elevator, and then back to the suites. There, and only there, did Mr. Lee gesture at him to remove the pants, and then get on the bed. \n \nAs Darren did, he felt a fuzzy hand rubbing his rump, and he blushed. \n \n“Another session, sir?” \n \n“I believe that you deserve certain pleasures for your loyalty. And I will admit, seeing you walking around in such tight clothing has been a temptation for me.” \n \n“Is that why you had me walk back so exposed, Mr. Lee?” \n \n“I feel it is a hoarding man that does not display his treasures. And now, I wish to indulge in mine. Moan, but otherwise be silent, servant.” \n \nHe nodded, clenching his jaws shut as he felt the snow leopard get into position, that familiar barbed cock working its way up towards his hole. This was going to be a good one, he could already tell. \n \n\u0026nbsp; \n \n\u0026nbsp; \n \n\u0026nbsp; \n \n\u0026nbsp; \n \n \n \nThe End"}
