I wanted to cry \"Oui, oui!\"\n\nHer hair was the sun\n\nTied up in a bun\n\nWith no loose ends of hair.\n\nHer eyes were the moon\n\nWith the chance of a boon\n\nLike hidden treasures somewhere.\n\nShe walked towards me\n\nWith a smile of glee;\n\nAnd her shape resembled a pear.\n\n\"Hello,\" she said\n\nAs she bowed her head,\n\nHer voice was like a prayer.\n\nI simply smiled,\n\nMy heart gone wild,\n\nAnd I took my first bow.\n\n\"Loki, isn't it?\"\n\nI whispered quite a bit\n\nLike it was a sacred vow.\n\n\"Why yes,\" she inquired,\n\nAs if it was inspired\n\nIn the etches of heaven.\n\nNow, before I spoke,\n\nAnd I felt like a bloke,\n\nShe took my hand,\n\nAs if to plan\n\nA wondrous time ahead.\n\nShe leaned up close,\n\nAnd I began to froze.\n\n\"Let's dance,\" she said\n\nAs she twiddled the thread\n\nOn my inky black cloak.\n\n\"Just you and I,\n\nDon't be shy,\n\nI only ask for a dance.\"\n\nShe threw her arms\n\nWith beautiful charms\n\nAround my great shoulders.\n\nSo, I took her waist\n\nWithout any haste,\n\nAnd we danced the day away.\n\nWe did a Waltz\n\nAnd it wasn't false\n\nAnd our eyes met in a glance.\n\nAnd I dare say\n\nI felt rather gay\n\nAs I looked into her eyes.\n\nThey gleamed and glared\n\nIn the summer air\n\nLike the pale moonlight.\n\nNow, that dance\n\nThat lasted a glance\n\nWas the most beautiful thing in the world.\n\nI'm sad to say\n\nIn less than a day\n\nThat it wasn't very long.\n\nBut, I will cherish\n\nLong after you perish\n\nThe Waltz with Loki Fawkes Holmes.\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Journey of the Shadow Archive","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/1153107-deathly-night.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/1153113-crimson-eyes.json"}}
