Give me fire, give me earth  
call the elements and name my birth  
wrap me in air, annoint me with water  
name me now, the element's daughter  
  
Brush me with embers, brush me with dust  
paint the sacred symbols on me with rust  
wash me in winds, drown me in streams  
awaken the elements sleeping in dreams  
  
darkened hearths waver, earth rolls in a sigh  
a spirit-born wanderer raises voice to the sky  
Speaking, "Oh brothers!" to tornadoes and storm  
breathing awareness to an unborn-soul form  
  
Summoning firestorms, earthquakes roar  
a rumbling awareness shaking the floor  
birds stop in mid-flight, fish stop in mid-swim  
What is this feeling, The Awakened wake within?
