After a long day, Kamea looks forward to a day of rest and relaxation. But thanks to a particular fire type, it doesn't seem like that's going to happen.

A quick little story I did. Wrote this one mainly to stall for time, as the next story I have planned was originally going to be an rp-to-story. That didn't work out though, so I'm gonna go ahead and just write it myself. In the mean time, I hope you all enjoy seeing a little more of Kamea, as well as her less than pleasant company...

Macho-Man and Waterworks

Kamea let out a hearty huff as she left the locker room, tossing a towel over her shoulder. A cool breeze swept past her and gave her a satisfying chill. Weight training had gone well for her today. She had broken her old record, leaving her in high spirits. And after a refreshing shower, she felt _more_ than ready to relax for the rest of the day.

"Knockers? Is that you?" In the span of four words, Kamea's mood was completely soured. She recognized this voice as well as the far-from-affectionate nickname. She glanced to the side and her suspicions were confirmed. Sure enough, the obnoxious Typhlosion was standing right there in his usual attire; shorts. Nothing else. The rest of his upper body was completely exposed, allowing the breeze to ruffle his exposed fur ever so slightly. As usual, a shit-eating grin Kamea had grown accustomed to was spread across his muzzle. The dragon resisted the urge to punch his teeth in as she scoffed.

"Tyson, I'm _really_ not in the mood to be dealin with your BS right now."

"Hey, come on, Babe. No need to be so harsh. It's just me, remember?"

"Oh _I_ remember. It's _why_ I'm so harsh right now." She paused to look around. "So where's your little crew? Did everyone finally realize how full of shit you are?"

"_Entei_, is it that time of the month for you or somethin?" God, if I knew you'd be this much of a bitch today, I would'a just let you drive by on your menstrual cycle. And if you _must_ know, I'm plannin on hit'n 'em up later today."

Kamea chuffed and rolled her eyes. "Well why doon't you scurry off to them so you could jack each other off or something?"

"God _damn_!" Tyson exclaimed, taking a step back, "The hell shot up _your_ ass this morning?"

"Oh fuck off!" Kamea shouted before storming off. "Damn, the _one thing_ I wanted to avoid today!" Another snarl escaped her lips as the Typhlosion stepped up and blocked her way. "What?!"

"Ok, seriously? I get that you don't like me anymore, but I think you ought'a tell me why."

"You've _seriously_ forgotten what happened between us?!"

"_Apparently_," Tyson shrugged, "'Cuz, for the life of me, I can't figure out what the hell I did to make you so bitchy with me!"

"Ugh. You're an _asshole,_ you know that?"

"Hard to forget with you reminding me literally every time we see each other."

"Well, it's 'cuz it's true."

"It's about that thing that happened at Carter's party, isn't it?" This time, the dragon didn't respond. Instead, she folded her arms across her chest and looked away. "Look, I'm _sorry_, okay? How many times do I have to_say_ it?"

"Enough to make me feel like you actually mean it."

"Well I _do_, alright?"

"Sure," Kamea rolled her eyes. Tyson scoffed.

"You act this way around your friends, _too_, or do you just have a hate-boner for me?"

"Okay FIRST of all--"

"Eeeeey! Tyson!"

"Richie! Dominic!" Tyson spread his arms out as a Houndoom and a Rapidash walked up to the two of them. Kamea rolled her eyes in disgust as the trio of fire types passed around high fives with each other.

"Dude, I saw you at the training stadium today," Dominic, the Houndoom, said to Tyson with a firm pat to his shoulder, "You're gonna kick some serious ass with moves like that."

"Boy, ya should'a seen _mah_ moves," said Richie, the Rapidash, "I c'n do _twice_ as good as _he_ can!"

"Maybe with some sissy grass types," Tyson quipped with a smirk, "You don't get braggin rights till you can punch a water type in the face with electricity!"

"Ha! Who needs _that_ when y've got the powuh o' the GOD-DAMN SUN on yuh side?!"

"Not all of us wanna be TM-junkies like you, Rich," jabbed Dominic, "I've at least got some Thunder Fangs to boot!"

"Yer all bark n' no bite, 'Nick," Richie snapped, "Yer twig o' a body ain't got _near_ 's much powuh 's _mah_ pack 'o muscles."

"Hey! It ain't the _size_ that matters! It's all about how you _use_ it!"

"I don't see how y'ur five-inchur c'n do _anythin_ useful!"

"That's not what your mom said to me last night~"

"Why ya _little_--"

"Hey, hold up," Tyson spoke up, holding up a paw, "EY KNOCKERS! WHERE 'RE _YOU_GOIN?!"

"What's it LOOK like?!" Kamea shouted back, "As far away from you as _possible_!"

"Aww _come on_, Babe! Why do you gotta be like that around my bros?!"

"Yeah, Knockers!" Dominic chimed in, "Why don't you come hang with _us_?! We know how to show you a good time!"

"What's wrong, Knockers?!" called Richie, "You 'fraid o' us er somethin?"

"Screw ALL o' you tryhards!" Kamea spat with a dismissive wave, "How about you guys go jerk each other off instead o' pesterin the fuck out of me?!"

"Why?! Do you wanna _watch_?!" Dominic remarked, eliciting laughs from the other two morphs, "We'd have to charge you! Shows like _that_ don't come cheap!"

"Oh but they _come_, alright," quipped Tyson, The other two morphs laughed and high fived each other.

Kamea rolled her eyes in disgust as she returned to her earlier stride. But just as she thought that she'd finally get a modicum of peace, she felt a paw grab at her shoulder. She scoffed with frustration as she realized who it was. "What do you want now?"

"To _talk_, maybe? I _still_ don't know why you're so bitchy around me, and it's been several months now!"

"Oh just go hang out with your bros or whatever! I'm not in the mood to talk about it right now."

"I'm meeting up with them _later_! Besides, this is one of the _few_ times that I managed to talk to you before you could get away!" Kamea huffed through her nostrils, knowing that the fire type wasn't going to let her get away any time soon. "So seriously; _is_ it 'cuz of what happened at Carter's?"

"The hell do you THINK?! No SHIT it's why I'm sick of your ass!"

"Look, I keep trying to _tell_ you that I'm _sorry_."

"_Are_ you? 'Cuz it seems to me like you're still WAY MORE concerned about how your little _posse_ sees you."

"Those guys look _up_ to me, man! I can't let them think I'm some wimpy _softie_!"

"I can't believe I wasted a year of my life on your pompous ass..."

"Hey, you gotta admit; it's a _nice_ ass."

"UUGHRRR!" Kamea groaned and stormed off, still trailed by Tyson much to her chagrin.

"Okay! Okay. I'm sorry. I'll be serious now."

"Yeah right."

"_Try_ me."

Kamea gave him a look, almost as though she was trying to find any signs of his bullshit. "...Okay then," she began, narrowing her eyes at her, "how about you start by telling me--"

"Wait, wait, not here," Tyson waved his paws and looked around, "Let's go somewhere where there's not as much people around. I've still got an image to keep, y'know?"

"Ugh," Kamea rolled her eyes in disgust, "Fine. I know a place. Follow me." With a swish of her tail, she got moving, prompting the other morph to follow. "And if you try anything on me, I'm shoving your balls down your throat."

Kamea led them up a grassy hill with a bench set in front of a fence blocking the rest of the way. Tyson let out a whistle as he looked around. "Well ain't _this_ a pretty sight? You find it on a jog or somethin?"

"A friend of a friend comes here a lot," Kamea replied, taking a seat on the bench, "Figured I'd swing by here to use it for some quiet time. Apparently no one really comes here."

"Seriously?" said Tyson as he sat down next to her, "That's surprising. This is a perfect spot to fuck in secret."

Kamea massaged her snout between her fingers. "_Don't_ make me regret giving you a chance..."

"_Alright,_ alright. I get it. Knockers hasn't gotten properly laid in months, so she doesn't want me ta--HUEGH!" Kamea scowled as she removed her fist from Tyson's gut. "...Okay...I admit... Had that one coming..."

"Enough BS-ing around already," Kamea huffed, "You wanted private time, and now you've _got_ private time. It's 'bout time you started talkin."

"Yeah, yeah, I got it. What was it you wanted to ask me?"

"Riddle me this: Did you _really_ think we'd still be cool after you treated me like some booty-call slut in front of your dumbass squad?"

"Aw, Babe, c'mon. You _know_ I didn't--"

"And for the last GODDAMN time, I AIN'T your 'Babe.'" Kamea narrowed her eyes at him. "I haven't been for the past year."

"...Alright... I got it... You _hate_ my guts, and we ain't a thing anymore... But like...c'mon, you _know_ why I'm like this! You _know_ why I treated you that way that time! Y'know how _hard_ it is to be the cool guy?! My crew's _always_ expectin the _best_ shit from me. The _second_ I screw up, they'll think I'm a _fraud_."

"The hell kind of friends did _you_ get yourself?"

"I'm NOT expectin you to understand."

"I'm not _stupid_. I know how this works."

"Do you?"

"Hell yeah! I spent a whole damn _year_ with you! You think I douldn't pick up on a few things about you in that time?"

"I didn't take you for the perceptive type."

"Oh fuck _you_."

"I do it every morning."

"UURGH!"

Tyson laughed as Kamea tossed her gaze to the side with a grumble. "Y'know, I kinda _miss_ this..."

"Miss _what_?"

"Getting you riled up like this."

Kamea pressed her lips together and huffed defiantly. But eventually, she let out a sigh of defeat. "...Well...I can't exactly say that I didn't miss those days myself..."

"Heh, yeah, they were fun, right?"

"Whenever you weren't being such an obnoxious asshole, yeah." Tyson's laughter filled the air, and eventually Kamea's joined his. "See? Why can't you just be like _this_?"

"Hm?"

"Y'know, like _this_. Right now, you're not tryin to be someone _else_. You're just being..._you_."

A frown spread across Tyson's muzzle. "But...I don't _wanna_ be me. I wanna be the _cool_ guy. The one that everyone _looks up to_ and _admires._ Not some prissy Quilava with self-esteem issues! _Fuck_ that guy!"

"I _liked_ that guy! He was _cool_! He was _legit_! He was down to earth! Why get rid of him?"

"Because no one looks _up_ to a guy like that!"

"I DID!"

"...What?"

"Tyson...why do you think I hooked up with you? You think that macho-man act is what made me like you? No! Hell no! I liked you 'cuz you used to be _genuine_ with me. But after you evolved and started hanging out with your..._crew_ or whatever...you changed..." The Kommo-o stared out into the wilderness for a moment, seeming to reminisce. "I looked _up_ to you before all o' that, y'know? Even when it kept you unpopular, you were still you... And that was _cool_. It was like you didn't give a shit 'bout what everyone else thought of you... In the end, though, I guess you really did..." After a pause, she glanced over to the Typhlosion and blinked. "Shit, are you cryin?"

"Shut up!" Tyson barked, rubbing his eyes against his forearm, Just got somethin in my eye!"

Kamea rolled her eyes and nudged her fist against his side. "C'mon, dude. You already know that macho-man act doesn't work on me."

"I'm _not_ cryin," he said through grit teeth, "I'm not cryin, I swear."

Kamea smiled as she watched him vainly try to hide his tears. Giving a firm pat on his shoulder, she stood up from her seat and said, "Well then, Mr. Tough Guy, if you ever find Mr. Open-with-his-feelings, tell 'im to swing by my place, 'n maybe we can hang." After gently knocking her fist against the side of Tyson's arm, Kamea swished her tail and walked down the hill.

"W-wait," said Tyson. Kamea stopped and turned around. Tyson was standing as he wiped the rest of his tears out of his eyes. "I'll-ahem...I'll uh...see ya around, Knockers."

Kamea rolled her eyes as a smug grin spread across the Typhlosion's muzzle. "Whatever, Waterworks."

"I wasn't crying!" Tyson shouted defensively.

"Yeah, yeah. Somethin in your eye or whatever," Kamea waved dismissively as she turned back around. And as she walked away, she couldn't help but notice how nice it felt to be the one wearing the smug grin on her face.
