I've been struggling a lot recently with my mood swings as a result of untreated bipolar depression. My mood throughout the day is pretty much the basis of this poem. I wrote this on 5/13/2017.\nWritten by me, Fane Star.","content":"Daily horror,  \nUnbeknownst to most,  \nA war within my head.  \n  \nTo wake gleeful is normal,  \nNone will see the signs.  \n  \nMy hours at home,  \nFun and free,  \nFeel nonexistent by noon.  \nWronged by venturing out,  \nLeaving the peace of home.  \n  \nI'll wander in a metaphorical desert,  \nDry of comfort and hope.  \n  \nLoneliness may overcome me,  \nMaybe anger will reach me first.  \nBefore lunch I'll have lost  \nThe stability of the morning.  \n  \nEvening comes with vengeance and spite,  \nWhile the hostile moon climbs high.  \n  \nA moment of stillness and silence,  \nComes as I return to my oasis.  \nI'll leave my desert behind,  \nAs I enter the door to home.  \n  \nRather than glee,  \nNumbness consumes me.  \nA depression will set in.  \n  \nIncurable and comfortless,  \nAll who assist are sucked in,  \nTo become victims of my black hole.  \n  \nMy only treatment is isolation and rest,  \nUntil stability returns.  \n  \n**Written by: Fane Star**\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
