This is also an attempt at learning to write poems and lyrics for future songs.","content":"I can't make the piano keys move\n\nI can't make dulcet words sing\n\nAnd the stories can't write themselves\n\n  \n\nSo why am I scared of the truth\n\nAnd I find myself second guessing\n\nThat my life would ever get well\n\n  \n\nNightingale, please take my prayer\n\nAnd leave me here to think\n\nAs the stars console me\n\n  \n\nSaying things like \"Let go of yesterday\"\n\n\"The more you drift the more you sink\"\n\n\"One day you will be happy\"\n\n  \n\nSo the lone wolf howls to the moon\n\nAnd the lone wolf in me howls to it too\n\nAnd the moon left and the sun came to soon\n\n  \n\n\"Let me shine,\" the sun said\n\n\"Let me guide you,\" said the wind\n\n\"Let me hunt with you,\" a wolf cried today\n\n  \n\nAnd together we went as the piano keys moved\n\nWith words sung lightly between bloody teeth\n\nAnd the stories writ and left in snow\n\nAs this wolf and I made our way home\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poems","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/993049-triage.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/1184738-the-man-and-the-sea.json"}}
