I grabbed some food, more like just bacon, some sausage no eggs. I couldn't even think for the life of me. My god, how did she know? Oh well, I guess it's that patch of fur where I had my scar. Will I never live the accident down?                 I was still in there after every one else was done. After I was done I washed the dishes, then I went back to where I assumed Lisa was. I wonder, yep still reading that big ass book.  Guess  that must be some light reading. Just one of those people who read really boring books or it might be interesting. "So, I know you remember what happened," Lisa said ominously. "Ok fine, you want to hear what happened," I said. "You know as well as I that I do," she replied. "Ok," I said, "well it happened five years ago. That's also when changes started to be killed, not just put in a detention center. I had just started my own business, Moulder's Computers where I basically made my own computers and repaired other computers as well. I was in such a good mood; I had a great life going. My life was looking up." "So I was walking around town really late.  I was just really happy, so I was walking around. I came to an intersection, I was waiting to cross. Then it told me it was safe to cross, so I started crossing the road, then out of nowhere a car was flying down the road. I had no time to get out of the way so... I got hit." "I remember flying at least 10 feet in the air. I can't remember anything after the impact other than the feeling it was all over. Well when I came too, I was in a hospital. I was in the ICU, not exactly the best place I ever woke up in." "Though I guess I was in a coma for at least three months. My girl friend left me, my family thought I was going to die.  I had the scar when I woke up, damn it looked like Harry Potter's scar. My family made the reference, god I hate them for that." "So after I went down to the church around near there, after they let me out. I quit going after, the sermon was about how the 'Shifters' are the spawn of Satin. I didn't appreciate it much... they are the sadists not us. I also saw them string up one who had sought sanctuary. I was absolutely appalled, I stormed out of there. "So that's my story," I finished.                 She just sat there, not responding looking as if she had heard every little detail on my life. Who knows what she was feeling? I was pacing around the room for what felt like minutes. I was just about to leave the room, and she came too. "I know  what happened while you were in a coma," Lisa said. "Oh really, what," I asked. "They found you," she said. "Sniffers," I asked. "Yes and no," she replied "Well what does that mean," I asked. "It means that they have known about you since the accident," she explained, "They knew about you for five years. They released you, let you live, and even let you live a normal life. The accident pushed your change date back for years. You were so close and yet so far."                 This realization had hit me like a ton of bricks. They had let me live, just to track me down and kill me. They knew of my existence was fabrication to see how far I could go? Am I just a clone of my former self with the feelings and thoughts of the dead me? Am I who I think I am? Am I the one...
