Written 2016.","content":"Once upon a bit of never  \nThere was a canine that thought himself clever  \nHe decided to spend his idle time  \nBefriending a lonely porcupine  \nThe rodent sat in his cozy den  \nWriting on paper with his quill pen  \nThe puppy tried to start to play  \nBut the porcupine just wrote away\n\nWhatcha doing; is it fun?  \nWhy don'tcha come out, then we can run  \nI like to bark and roll and jump  \nDon't just sit there like a hairy lump  \nWe can play in the soft, green grass  \nSo come on out and get off your  \nHey, whatcha got there, looks like a stick  \nI thought it was hair, but it's kinda thick  \nIs it magic, making those marks  \nI've seen those things outside parks  \nIf we were there you could throw that thing  \nAnd I could run after it and bring  \nOr hey, lemme give it a smell  \nAnd of course I'll taste it as well  \nAnd I can chew it up, you see  \nSo then it'll smell just like me  \nAnd you'll always know that it's mine  \nWhat do you think friend porcupine?  \nChewing's a basic canine habit  \nCome on now, just let me have it  \nYou prickly pig, I won't ask again  \nI'm not leaving until you give in  \nI'll wait steadfast all day long  \nDogs are known for standing strong  \nDoesn't matter if it starts snowing  \nHey Mr Squirrel, where ya going  \nThat's a fluffy tail, can I have a smell  \nOf course I'll have to taste it as well\n\nThe porcupine sighed, \"Such a silly dog.  \nYou can't have my pen, I'm a quill hog.\"\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poetry","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/1260446-what-s-with-the-tail.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/1260654-prickly-attitude.json"}}
