Meribella squealed happily in her breathy, Mezzo-Soprano voice through her red beak as she opened the door, her blue feathers and yellow fur nearly groomed. This caused Levi's heart to leap.  Had she opened the door for just for him? Glancing at her nervously, Levi replied with an anxious, "H-hey... Belle...," "The eggnog is on the table.  Make sure you don't drink the ones in the left corner.  Those are for me," a red-furred, black feathered griffon in his mid-20s spoke in a cocky tone.  This griffon's voice was deep - very deep. Although he dreaded to ask the question, Levi went against his gut in a near-squeak, "Who... is _this?_" "This is my **boyfriend** ,_Andres_," Belle said happily, feeling the upper arms of the griffon, "Sorry I never told you this, but I _really_ hate your attitude." This caused Levi's heart to sink.  She was finally with someone, and it wasn't him. The struggle to refrain from breaking down was immense.  Levi was never the most rugged male, even though he was strong and muscular. As the two left for the refreshment table, Eric approached Levi in a blue winter jacket with somber expression upon his face, "Sorry, dude.  It happened so fast it was _nuts_.  She just calls **last-minute** and tells she's bringing this 'hunk of a griffon' over.  I wish I could have sent ya' the memo before it hit the fan." "I... think I'd better... leave...," Levi sniffled, tears escaping his eyes. A large smack landed upon Levi's cheek, perpetrated by none other than the Eric's heavy-set twin sister, Erica. Tapping her foot on the floor, Erica began to chastise Levi angrily, her partially-deep voice perfect for intimidation, "You come to _my_ party and leave because some _idiotic_ **bitch** who doesn't even **_deserve you_** breaks your **_heart!?_**" "Woah, what's gotten into you, sis?" Eric asked with a fearful gulp. Responding with a snort, Erica began her next speech, "If you don't have fun, that muscle-headed _brute_and worthless piece of **_trash_** wins.  If you keep chasing after her, you'll never be happy, because she'll _never_ **_make_** you happy." Erica's speech was met with a nervous nod from Levi and a shocked expression from her brother respectively. With a gulp, Eric spoke in a nervous tone, "Anyway, I was waitin' on you, but my girl Ingrid asked me to pick her up.  I'll be back in about twenty to forty depending on the roads.  Stay cool bro.'" With this, Eric exited the house, closing the door behind him. "Come on.  You can sing karaoke," Erica suggested in a compassionate tone, bidding him into the living room. The three arrived to find half of Erica's Collage Freshman class dancing to music.  She, on the other hand, had been rummaging through songs for most of the night. Upon reaching the radio, Erica tapped the microphone, turning of the music a second after. "Attention... Levi is going to _sing_ something **_I_** picked out for him," Erica stated in a smug yet dry tone. Laughter erupted from the entire room. "Hey, Levi!  You _sure_ know how to pick up a _hot girl!_" "Oh, hey!  I bet she's trying to make her **_ex_** -boyfriend jealous!" "Nah, she just wants to try building up his impossibly **low** testosterone levels!" "Come on guys, let's see what he has to offer!  I'd bet my ass not much, but _hey -_ gotta' give a pussycat its nip sometime!" "She's his best friend's _sister!_  I bet he's trying to stand up for the fact that her old boyfriend **left her** because she won't put out!  Hah!  Like she had anything to _deal with_ in the **_first_** place!" One comment caused Levi's usually kind and calm demeanor to flicker out.  Her boyfriend of five months dumped her for not having sex with him?  A fuse began to light the moment he heard it, which burned as he contemplated it.  All the while, he approached the microphone. A single look at the song Erica had picked caused a mixture of anger and vengeful joy to appear in Levi's eyes. The music began.  To everyone's surprise, Levi's cool temper and compassionate attitude gave way to a hateful song - "Merry Christmas, Kiss My Tail" Silence. Shock. Admiration?
