# Reqiuem for Darkness Part 3 Shades of Gray

There's darkness and light, evil and good, black and white.... can I just be grey?  
  
  
  
     "H... hello... eh... my... name is... BigZ"  
     He was even cuter when he was shy. "Um...hi" I stared into his beautiful eyes. "Oh! Sorry. I'm Kalte H. Bild." I've never been so nervous about anything before.  
     "Kalte." He gulped, blushing very hard, looking away with shyness in the most adorable way I have ever seen. He is so dashing. "It's... very nice to meet you... would you like to... eat with me... I have lots of food to share."  
     Right as he said it my ears shot up from excitement and my tail wagged uncontrollably. "Of course!" When I realized how loud I said that I immediately blushed very hard and looked away. "I mean... I would like that very much"  
     We both sat at his table, his tail wagging madly, just like mine. There was fish, meat, other interesting looking stuff, and dessert. I watched BigZ break off a piece of meat. "Here you go..." He said before looking away blushing.  
     "Oh... thank you" I said blushing as I started eating. "Oh my god! It's so good!" I said wide eyed. I couldn't take the suspense anymore. I wanted...no, I needed to know. "Um... I wanted to... um... ask you something." I couldn't look into his eyes as I said it.  
     He blushed, looking at me with that inviting smile as he says, ?You can ask me anything, it's okay." I saw him blush harder as he awaited my question.  
     I felt myself gain more courage, enough to ask, "Would you... would you like to..." then suddenly an ominous force overcame me, my head snapped to the direction... home. I got up quickly and almost went out the door before remembering who I'd be leaving behind. "I'm sorry, but I have to go, no time to explain, it's been wonderful meeting you though." It hurt so much to leave but I had to, something bad was happening again, this time, I'm going to stop it.  
     I dashed home full speed, slashing through shadowpuppets without sparing them a second glance. At this speed, no common folk could see my movement. I hope everything is all right. If Sarah was hurt somehow... I can't think about that now, I have to get there, and when I do, it will all be okay. I saw my house in the distance. In front of it stood a woman, alone, covered in a red aura. Suddenly there was a flash and she vanished. The ground started to shake as a giant funnel of flames consumed my home right before my eyes. "Sarah" I screamed crying. The ground rumbled under the force if the increasing gravity caused by my anguish.  
     "Kalte!" I heard a familiar voice yell from behind me. As I turned I found myself pulled into BigZ's warm embrace. "It will be alright" I heard him say before going unconscious.  
     ...I hope he's right.
