**Exposition**

Log 3

Day 1

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"But sir! He was being attacked!" I tried to reason with the principal.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Irrelevant, if you see a fight, notify the security officers. Don't merely jump into the brawl like animals." the principle said remaining calm.  
&nbsp;"yeah, but If we did that, the kid might have been hospitalized by the time the security-" Slay tried to interject, but was cut off by the principal mid sentence.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"And you! You don't just start a fight because an insult was thrown at your friend!" the principal practically yelled&nbsp;at Slay, but managed to hold off on it.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Sorry dude, but I have done nothing wrong, I was just protecting myself."&nbsp;Rylee&nbsp;said, and then&nbsp;continued to pick at her nails, as if she had nothing else to say.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Yes, but..."

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Self defense"&nbsp;Rylee stated simply crossing her arm over her chest.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Yes, but the security cameras..."

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Self defense"&nbsp;This time she made eye contact with the principal showing no fear and that she wasn't going to stop.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The principal let out a sigh, realizing that arguing with the girl wasn't getting him anywhere. "Ok, you Nina, after a year hear, I thought you, of all people would know better. Care to explain your self?"

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Well, to be honest, I thought I could get away." She said with a matter of fact air.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Err, excuse me, but why am I in here!?" the human said, at this point, I got a good look at him. He was wearing all black, and he was rather scrawny. "After all, I was the one being attacked."

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"You are not in here for being attacked; you are here for pulling a GUN on a student! I know gun slinging is your minor, but that is no reason to try it out on other students!"&nbsp;The principal said furious.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"So, what's gunna happen to us?" I asked

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Well, usually getting into a brawl would get you into pretty big trouble. But, all of you, you represent what this school is about." At this point he had lost us all.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Err, what!?" I said

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"What you did back there, furries helping Humes! That sort of thing is what this school is built on! I know that sounds wrong and all, but just go with it." Who on earth was this man!?

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Well, what about the guys who were attacking me? It wouldn't be fair to let us go with a slap on the wrist, and punish them, would it?" the human said.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Indeed, as much as their crude actions go against my belief, if I were to punish them, I would need to punish you too." The principle said with a sigh. "Now, Nina, take Ryu and the others to the library, and then to the presidium wards."

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Whatever ya say boss." She said with a smile.&nbsp;

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;.................................................................................&nbsp;

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"So, who are you two?" I asked&nbsp;as we walked down the hall towards the doors that led outside then to the library.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Well, I'm Nina, and this little scraper here is Chris." She said, pointing to both of them. "So what's up with you three? Friends?"

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Well yeah, I'm Ryu, this scaly fellah is Slay, and that's Rylee, she's a ..." I stopped, remembering it was a secret, "err, she's a human we met on the bus."

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"No point in hiding it," Chris said, "We can tell you're a nymph." After saying that' Rylee got a mix of anger and embarrassment on her face&nbsp;slightly stepping behind Slay to hide her embarrassment.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;"Ha-ha, nice one Chris, before this gets anymore awkward, I should let you know we're here," she said, gesturing to the large building in front of us. The building was closing, and there was barley anyone left. "Err; you should just grab a sheet. There is no point in making the workers stay late for us." After getting the sheets, Nina took us to the presidium wards.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Upon entering, we saw a freak show. The building itself had blue walls, and windows on the ceiling. The people inside fit the atmosphere. "Here we are, the presidium wards!" Nina said with a smile
