It's nice to meet you\"\n\n\\\u003eThrough the introductions you've been (hopefully) stealthily studying her\n\n\\\u003eHer fur is a bit longer than other cheetahs you've seen, and her tail looks so much fluffier to match\n\n\\\u003eShe also has short brown hair and striking light green eyes\n\n\\\u003eHer clothes are simple: jeans that hug her nicely and a blue shirt done up in a way that shows a bit of midriff\n\n\\\u003e\"You know, I wasn't even sure that you'd show up. Thought that app might be a scam\"\n\n\\\u003eShe looks you up and down\n\n\\\u003e\"That's your opening line? Smooth\"\n\n\\\u003eHer smile changed to a grin while a paw desperately tries to stifle a laugh\n\n\\\u003eFUCK\n\n\\\u003eYou freeze for a second, though a quick facepalm snaps you out of it\n\n\\\u003e\"Fuck sorry, I'm just pleasantly surprised to find such a pretty lady on that app\"\n\n\\\u003eHer smile returns as she leans over the tabletop\n\n\\\u003e\"See~ That's much better! I think I have some good vodka stored away; if you want anything else it'l be in the cabinet\"\n\n\\\u003eYou had only enjoyed the comfort of that couch for only a minute as you soon found yourself in-front of her fridge\n\n\\\u003eFinding the freezer, you quickly discover that she wasn't kidding around\n\n\\\u003eThere are quite a few flavors, from things you'd only consider as mixers, to the vanilla flavored shots and black cherry special\n\n\\\u003eUnsure of what you wanted exactly, you turn around and find the cabinet she had mentioned\n\n\\\u003eVarious kinds of rum, whiskey and beer could be found inside\n\n\\\u003eA bit much, but it didn't really bother you\n\n\\\u003eYou were in college once, you had kept several different kinds of alcohol around for your various friends tastes\n\n\\\u003eHidden, of course, and most of it being rum and coke\n\n\\\u003eDigging through her fridge again and finding a few cans of coke, hear the sound of a tv turning on\n\n\\\u003eStopping briefly you looked out, \"What'cha want?\" you ask her\n\n\\\u003e\"Uh, a bottle of vodka, any kind, and a cup with some coke, please\" you hear back\n\n\\\u003eBringing the goods to a small wooden table in front of the couch, the both of you mixed your various drinks\n\n\\\u003eSettling in, a quick drink for taste confirmed a perfect mixture once again\n\n\\\u003eIt was so perfect, you already finished it\n\n\\\u003eNow, being empty during a show just could't be allowed\n\n\\\u003eSo to your surprise you had already finished a second one\n\n\\\u003eOr, maybe a third\n\n\\\u003eWait, what happened so far? You aren't exactly sure where in the movie your at\n\n\\\u003eYou're staring into your empty, heavily stained cup now\n\n\\\u003eThe TV wasn't making a whole lot of noise as before, either\n\n\\\u003eA little ways away, you hear stifled laugh\n\n\\\u003eAmy is trying to keep her drink steady while her other arm is curled over her stomach\n\n\\\u003eIt's been some time since you had seen such an assortment\n\n\\\u003eCheap beer was all you really could afford since coming here\n\n\\\u003eSomething about this was all too familiar\n\n\\\u003eYou vaguely remember doing this often; hosting these movie nights with various friends and the people they brought\n\n\\\u003eYou were the guy who could buy all the good stuff and somehow keep it hidden\n\n\\\u003eAn unhealthy amount of it\n\n\\\u003eYou couldn't have gone through it all then, but despite that you did\n\n\\\u003eYou remember the cost always being a little more every time you went\n\n\\\u003eThe bags always slightly heavier\n\n\\\u003eThe dorm always getting emptier\n\n\\\u003eAnd then you remember having nothing\n\n\\\u003eNo house, no college, no friends... nothing to your name except the clothes on your back and whatever you held\n\n\\\u003eYou remembered the fear of those agents finding you in the streets, and the cold that followed while they explained\n\n\\\u003eHow does one cope with losing everything?\n\n\\\u003eYou didn't notice the cup being crushed between your grip\n\n\\\u003ePeople back there could lose everything, but still have something\n\n\\\u003eA house, a car, the insurance and government helping them, a family\n\n\\\u003eYou remember reading about some people arriving with whole towns, buildings, places of wealth such as factories and wineries, and other such things\n\n\\\u003eBut you\n\n\\\u003eYou had nothing.\n\n\\\u003eyour world goes black to the sound of white noise from Amy's TV and Her soft breathing\n\nChapter 2: Pursuit of Happiness\n\n\\\u003eWith great effort you wake up enough to quickly shut your eyes again\n\n\\\u003eYou played the pain game with your eyes as harsh light forced its way in\n\n\\\u003eYou lost\n\n\\\u003eA few minutes of rubbing your face and you're finally standing well enough\n\n\\\u003eYou think you're standing, anyways\n\n\\\u003eFuucckkkk, you had too much to drink\n\n\\\u003eA dry heave or two later and you still felt softness on your back\n\n\\\u003eYou managed to crack an eye open this time, somewhat able to keep it that way as you gazed forward, mildly confused\n\n\\\u003eFor some reason, the ceiling was looking back\n\n\\\u003eLooking down your legs were stretched and hanging over the side of the couch\n\n\\\u003eWell, you were half right\n\n\\\u003eA tactical roll to your left had you on your stomach now, and you decided to commemorate this achievement with a small groan into the padding\n\n\\\u003eA wild grab at the table beside you looking for... something, only brought the sounds of cups falling to the floor\n\n\\\u003e\"Nice,\" you mumbled, tentatively placing a foot on the floor\n\n\\\u003eThe other followed soon after and you could now consider yourself sitting\n\n\\\u003eJust a little bit more effort to go and then you could cross one thing off your checklist\n\n\\\u003eYour eyes were mostly open now, and before you were various bottles of vodka, rum and cans of coke strewn about\n\n\\\u003eA light retching heard behind you connected the things together\n\n\\\u003eA quick cough from you made you a little uncertain yourself\n\n\\\u003eA hand on the side of the couch led you to shakily place another on the hall's wall\n\n\\\u003eEven with a headache, you had to make sure she was ok\n\n\\\u003eAlso, the bathroom probably holds the meds\n\n\\\u003eFeeling your way down the hall you stood in front of the open lit bathroom, where an over sized cat looking a bit more frazzled than usual was doing her best to choke the porcelain\n\n\\\u003e\"H-hey, Anon,\" she pitifully moans out before retching into the toilet, her fur standing up a bit more\n\n\\\u003e\"Hey Amy,\" you say, unsure of what else to do\n\n\\\u003eYou busied yourself with another face rub as the sounds continue a bit more\n\n\\\u003eShe looks like death, but she's still looking your way now\n\n\\\u003e\"...Got any ibuprofen? I don't think so,\" once again you met her halfway, a paw quickly closing on the bottle\n\n\\\u003e\"I can't find my socks though\"\n\n\\\u003eYou're already cracking open another one\n\n\\\u003eThe meds helped your hangover, and it was a hell of a lot better than Amy's, but you still felt like shit\n\n\\\u003e\"You got mad they were mismatched (they weren't by the way,) and threw them off the balcony\"\n\n\\\u003eYou looked out the window and spotted one of them in a tree just outside\n\n\\\u003e\"Goddamit,\" another swig\n\n\\\u003e\"Look, I'm really sorry Anon,\" her chin was resting on the couch back eyes shut tight, \"I think...
