As with other mad story games, attendees suggested words to fill in the blanks having NO IDEA where in the story it would go. This silliness is the result of that.","content":"The Grand Furry Pastime\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAh, baseball! A tradition as American as \\_roadkill\\_\\_, \\_drawing\\_\\_\\_, and \\_onion paste\\_\\_\\_. From young \\_\\_\\_chinchilla\\_\\_ playing stickball in the park to big star athletes like the famous \\_\\_plain old regular cat\\_\\_ player \\_\\_Martha\\_\\_\\_ \\_\\_Jones\\_\\_\\_, who braved the adversity of lacking any \\_\\_toe-beans\\_\\_ and led the \\_Pittsburgh \\_\\_Mothmans\\_\\_\\_\\_ to victory with his patented \\_effervescent\\_\\_ slider, baseball is America's true pastime.\n\nThe first games were informal affairs with homemade equipment such as using \\_\\_silk\\_ to make a ball and honing \\_\\_meringue\\_\\_\\_ into something resembling a bat. In those days you could be called out for \\_\\_slurping\\_\\_ against the \\_\\_tire iron\\_\\_ or if another player managed to \\_\\_explode\\_\\_\\_ your \\_belly button\\_\\_\\_ with the \\_grandmother\\_\\_. As clubs began to gather to play the game with each other, rules had to be standardized, giving us the well-known three \\_murders\\_\\_\\_ and you're out and switching \\_\\_\\_mushrooms\\_\\_\\_ after three outs. Then as the game grew, new rules had to be introduced to keep the game fresh, interesting, and \\_\\_sleazy\\_\\_. Though many traditionalists say this ruins the game, such as with the controversial \\_\\_sassy\\_\\_\\_ \\_\\_\\_pitcher\\_\\_\\_ rule, which is hotly debated even to this day.\n\nOf course, as we enjoy this pastime, we still must admit its checkered past. For a long time, \\_\\_\\_turtles\\_\\_ were forbidden to play and had to form their own leagues, just because of the \\_taste\\_ of their \\_\\_\\_sassafras\\_\\_. During the war, people were fine to have teams made up entirely of \\_\\_\\_lies\\_\\_\\_, but as soon as the boys came home, they were told to get back to the \\_\\_underworld\\_\\_\\_\\_ and focus on \\_\\_bald spot\\_\\_ once again. The sport has also been rocked by scandals such as players that avoid being tagged out by \\_\\_catapulting\\_\\_\\_ their \\_\\_triangles\\_\\_, or players that would throw a game because they had been \\_\\_\\_bouncing\\_\\_ in the hopes of making more \\_spoons\\_\\_. Even with these blemishes though, the game still remains an American \\_Taco Bell's 7-layer burrito\\_\\_\\_ for all species.\n\nSo what will be the \\_tuba\\_\\_ of baseball? In the last several years, other sports have surpassed it in making \\_\\_\\_\"Jeremy\"\\_\\_\\_. With the popularity of \\_\\_\\_spelunking\\_\\_, \\_\\_BMX\\_\\_\\_, and \\_\\_making children cry\\_\\_\\_, some say that the baseball is on the way out.\n\nStill, no matter what happens, baseball has endured and will continue to \\_desecrate\\_\\_ in the hearts and minds of Americans young and \\_\\_\\_fluffy\\_\\_\\_. It is truly the great American furry \\_\\_Germany\\_\\_\\_\\_.\n\n  \n  \n\n"}
