A poem with a Star Trek theme; A Caitian female and human male finally express their feelings for each other in an appropriate manner.

Cait Girl

(10/21/2017)

We walk together silently,

The tension growing like a tree,

She stops and quickly turns around,

She faces me, looks to the ground,

She steps to me, I back away,

Her smile’s wide, her tail sways,

I put my back against the wall,

We’re standing in an empty hall,

Reaching out, her hand does run,

Placing itself atop my gun,

She disarms me with lustful look,

And reads me like an open book,

She notices my nervousness,

Leans up to me, my fingers twitch,

She asks me if I’m scared of her,

Or of the Caitian’s silky fur,

She doesn’t know I’ve seen her though,

My eyes watch everywhere she goes,

But social stigma kept me there,

I’ve sat silently in my chair,

To my surprise she starts to speak,

A secret she would like to keep,

She tells me she’s been watching me,

And in my arms she wants to be,

Admit my feelings, it’s a start,

Deny it’s fear within my heart,

I hesitate with uncertainty,

Of what might not ever be,

She warms to me and I let it out,

My love for her I begin to spout,

Hand on her hip, I stroke her fur,

She leans on me and starts to purr,

A bell she wears around her neck,

It jingles as she arches her back,

I stroke her side so tenderly,

An arm around her lovingly,

Leaning close, she’s stumbling,

And at my touch she’s crumbling,

A gentle kiss upon her lips,

Closing her eyes in silent bliss,

She’s purring loud, I hold her near,

And trembling as though in fear,

The rules and regs mean naught to me,

Without her, I don’t want to be,

She looks to me with happy grin,

Her tail sways back and forth again,

Her hand in mine, some stare in shock,

Into my room, the door I lock,

Of her love for me she says,

As she lies down on my bed,

I lay beside her as she purrs,

Always will I be there for her,

Moving close, she turns around,

We face each other as our hearts pound,

Reaching out, our hands they walk,

All over each other like board and chalk,

Caring not if we make a sound,

As our clothes fall to the ground,

We wonder if we’re moving fast,

Caitian and human together at last.
