Love is such a pretty blues,

There are downs, and ups, and all sorts of hues.

Love is such a playful fear,

A feeling that lingers, and sings a song, too hard to hear.

Love is such an unbeknownst preposal,

A mandatory lottery. That, usually, you lose, and feel disposable.

Yes,

Love is such a painful game,

Though, if you win, you'll never feel the same.

..and, honestly, I like my odds.
