_Well, the original one was pretty bad. &nbsp;If you could read both (one in spanish and this one), you would notice quickly. &nbsp;Here's a revamp of the prequel's second chapter._

Now I didn't feel alone, having found Rafael by mere chance. &nbsp;Never had I felt this way for anyone or anything, this feeling of pure, unrelenting love. &nbsp;It was crazy, but I knew that for him I would risk everything I have. &nbsp;We had kissed, and I was sure we were sentenced. &nbsp;Rafael seemed to know of a possible solution to the whole enigma of our sexuality, and I was sure that it would be useful somehow. &nbsp;Indeed, I couldn't stop thinking about the angel.

&nbsp;

It was midnight when I finally got to the house. &nbsp;I didn't bother in verifying if someone was already there, I was simply too tired. &nbsp;My legs carried me directly into my room, and I threw myself into the bed, quickly falling for a deep sleep.

&nbsp;

&nbsp;

Normally I would get to dream of something, even if I didn't remember the dream; but that night nothing went through my head. Only thoughts of Rafael, of seeing him again. &nbsp;Surely I was getting too far ahead of myself, but I really didn't care. &nbsp;It made me happy, so happy.

&nbsp;

The next day barely started when I woke up, the sun being barely out. &nbsp;Silently I disappeared from the house without saying anything, lest I wake up anyone. I headed back to the same area where I met Rafael, it seemed like the obvious location of our meeting. &nbsp;We forgot to accord a time for our meeting, but I had hope. &nbsp;I was willing to wait for him all of the day if it were necessary.

&nbsp;

In that area there was an abandoned dock similar to one we had back in our world, and getting there didn't take even a half hour of steady flight. &nbsp;I land and sit on the edge of the dock, and already I was battling my anxiety of expectancy. &nbsp;

&nbsp;

Minutes would pass with nothing to do. &nbsp;It proved to be annoying; normally I could wander in my own thoughts and let time slip by. &nbsp;This time, it was all blank. &nbsp;I looked around, analyzed the ruined buildings of the complex, with their paint peeling off and the metal parts fully corroded and oxidized. &nbsp;Admittedly, I got bored. &nbsp;But there was no helping it, the whole chance meeting and subsequent 'date' was too impromptu.

&nbsp;

I sighed for the nth time, then my eyes carried me to the sea. &nbsp;There was something that I didn't notice before, a dolphin. &nbsp;The water mammal was looking at me intently, for who knows how long.

&nbsp;

- "Who are you? &nbsp;What are you doing here? -

&nbsp;

That dolphin had opened its mouth and spoken to me. &nbsp;I saw it, but I couldn't believe it.

&nbsp;

- "Did... did you just talk?" - I asked the impossible dolphin.

&nbsp;

- "Come on! Don't make stupid questions here. &nbsp;Answer mine first." -

&nbsp;

- "I'm an incubus, I'm waiting for someone." - The aquatic animal probably wouldn't know the first thing about what I was, so I didn't worry too much.

&nbsp;

- "Hmm... looked like you? &nbsp;Feathery wings?" - It asked.

&nbsp;

- "Ah ye- you were watching?!" - I was a little wierded out, and in the back of my head I still couldn't believe I was talking to dolphin. &nbsp;Maybe the boredom turned into a daydream.

&nbsp;

- "Well, any problem? &nbsp;This is my territory, after all." -&nbsp;

&nbsp;

- "Sorry... I'm just not used to talking to... dolphins." -&nbsp;

&nbsp;

- "This might be the second time I see you. &nbsp;The other guy, though; I've seen a few times." -

&nbsp;

- "Wait... you know him? &nbsp;You know what an incubus is?" - I hardly believed this.

&nbsp;

- "Bah, what's with the stupid questions, man?" -

&nbsp;

With that said, the dolphin submerges, then jumps out a moment later. &nbsp;Only that it was no longer a dolphin, but a slender, blue haired incubus. &nbsp;The wet incubus lands behind me. &nbsp;He had light brown fur and his blue hair was matted and silky.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

- "My name's Boto. What's yours?" -

&nbsp;

- "Ah, Dose." -

&nbsp;

- "Well, I know about incubus because I am one. &nbsp;I'm a blue blood, and I can control water and transform in it." -

&nbsp;

- "So, you've seen Rafael before." -

&nbsp;

- "He always comes by. &nbsp;Never really talked to him, though." - Boto spoke in a much laid back manner.

&nbsp;

I had realized that I wasn't speaking to a dolphin, but to Boto transformed.

&nbsp;

- "Ah, Dose." - Unexpectedly, Rafael arrived moments later he smiled upon seeing me. &nbsp;

&nbsp;

I smiled back and rushed to hug him, as tight as I could.

&nbsp;

- "I've been waiting for a while now." - I told him.

&nbsp;

- "I'm sure you have. &nbsp;I couldn't wait to see you again. &nbsp;Or for the first time, to be more precise." -

&nbsp;

- "Lovey dovey... you know that's dangerous, right?" - Boto said with a disapproving tone.

&nbsp;

- "I don't really care." - I said, looking at Rafael.

&nbsp;

- "Me neither." - Rafael echoed.

&nbsp;

- "Well, whatever floats your boats." - Boto shrugged

&nbsp;

- "Heh." - Rafael chuckled.

&nbsp;

- "Well, it's time I go." - Boto signaled, turning on his heel towards the ocean.

&nbsp;

- "Wait, what's your name?" - Rafael remembered to ask.

&nbsp;

- "Boto. &nbsp;Call me if you need me." - With that said, Boto saluted us goodbye and dived back into the water.

&nbsp;

Out surfaced an orca and waved us a brief goodbye with one of its flippers.

&nbsp;

- "He's a pretty cool guy." - I muttered.

&nbsp;

- "Seems like he could be a good friend." -

&nbsp;

- "So, now that you're here... mind explaining to me how it is that you live without having touched a woman?" - I would finally know the answer.

&nbsp;

- "There's this acquaintance of mine that studies our kind. &nbsp;He made a special chemical that suppresses the hunger while providing sustenance." &nbsp;- He explained with a brief smile.

&nbsp;

- "I see." -

&nbsp;

- "Let's go to him now. &nbsp;Maybe he can help us." - The angel urged.

&nbsp;

This time we headed northwest. &nbsp;Only Rafael knew exactly where we were going, so I just held his hand as we flew above the civilization. &nbsp;A while into the path, he looks at me. &nbsp;He hadn't stopped smiling... I guess neither had.

&nbsp;

- "We're going to have to share a lot of details about our separate lives." - He commented.

&nbsp;

- "Well, we're just starting to spend time together." - I reminded him.

&nbsp;

- "That's right. &nbsp;But one day I hope to know everything about you. &nbsp;To be able to look at you and have a conversation without saying anything." -&nbsp;

&nbsp;

- "Wow... well, we're just strangers now... but I too hope to have that kind of relationship with you." -&nbsp;

&nbsp;

That certainly had me blushing for the rest of the flight.

&nbsp;

Eventually we find ourselves hovering above a green patch hidden among the many trees of a forest. &nbsp;A few yards further and a school bustles with learning. &nbsp;We begin to descend, and a manhole is found on the center of the patch. &nbsp;Rafael approaches it like he knows what he's doing.

&nbsp;

- "Who is it?" - Out of the manhole comes the voice of a young man, a reaction to Rafael's knocking.

&nbsp;

- "It's Rafael." -

&nbsp;

- "Ah, come in." -

&nbsp;

With that said, the manhole's lock is spun open and the valve opens. &nbsp;It's big enough to fit only one of us, and Rafael first leans in and gives a look, then slowly he begins his descent down the precarious ladder.

&nbsp;

- "Come on, Dose." - He urges.

&nbsp;

As we reached the basement at the bottom of the ladder, I got annoyed by the musty smell of old grime. &nbsp;Broken bottles and dust and empty boxes were predominant in that dark room.

&nbsp;

- "Who's your companion?" - The young man asks.

&nbsp;

The lad had a Hawaiian button up shirt and a slender frame under it. &nbsp;He wore some green shorts and plain sneakers and he looked non-concerned. &nbsp;Seemed like a nice guy, overall.

&nbsp;

- "Oh, this is my partner." - He grabs the back of my hip and I greet

&nbsp;

- "Ah, good." -&nbsp;

&nbsp;

- "Dose, he's Francisco. &nbsp;He's going to help, too." - Rafael explains.

&nbsp;

Further looking at Francisco, he didn't look completely human. &nbsp;Something urged me to ask...

&nbsp;

- "What are you?" -

&nbsp;

- "Ah, I... I'm a half-breed. &nbsp;I Cambion. &nbsp;Half-Human, half-Incubus." - He explained with some stutter.

&nbsp;

I had heard about them, but I never saw one until now. &nbsp;He did give off mixed signals.

&nbsp;

- "Well." - Francisco leaves to the back of the room and returns with a small white box.

&nbsp;

- "Say, Francisco. &nbsp;Could you take us to see the doctor?" - Rafael asked.

&nbsp;

- "Eh, sure. &nbsp;But make it brief. &nbsp;You know how he's always busy." - Francisco mumbled.

&nbsp;

We followed him through a series of doors and hallways that seemed almost too small. &nbsp;Then we find another door on the floor which leads to a series of sewerage system. &nbsp;Descending into them, we find that they are quite large, and the actual amount of sewerage or expected odors and/or grime were simply missing. &nbsp;It was even cleaner than the rooms were a moment earlier.

&nbsp;

Rafael gets a good grip of Francisco as he hovers with me by his side. &nbsp;Better to fly than to walk, no matter how clean it may be. &nbsp;It's faster too.

&nbsp;

- "Heh, thank whoever designed you for those wings you have." - Francisco mocked.

&nbsp;

- "Heheh, yeah." - I chuckled.

&nbsp;

...

&nbsp;

We spent some time flying through some twists and turns in the sewage system. &nbsp;It struck me with a ton of curiosity.

&nbsp;

- "Hey, what are these?" - I asked.

&nbsp;

- "They're part of a lab built for my father. &nbsp;No one knows about these." -

&nbsp;

- "Why are the so big?" -

&nbsp;

- "Seems like a spaceship could fit in here." - Rafael added.

&nbsp;

- "Well, a spaceship wouldn't get out. &nbsp;And I don't know why they're so big. &nbsp;He just asked them to be specifically like this." -

&nbsp;

...

&nbsp;

Francisco has us land after sometime, to another of those precarious ladders. &nbsp;This one was even taller.

&nbsp;

- "If you don't mind me asking; do you take this route everyday? &nbsp;It seems daunting." - I had to ask.

&nbsp;

- "Nah, I take a train above ground, or my car. &nbsp;I just took you guys through here because it leads directly to his lab. &nbsp;Can't have you guys exposing yourselves too much." - Fernando cleared up.

&nbsp;

With that said, we flapped our way up the ladder, instead of climbing it. &nbsp;With Francisco still in Rafa's arms, he opens the manhole that leads to the lab, effectively.

&nbsp;

We surfaced into a very austere room. &nbsp;It was very gray and clean. &nbsp;Not many trinkets sprinkled around, and it was well lit. &nbsp;Once all three of us are up, Rafa closes the door.

&nbsp;

- "I'll look for the Dr. You two stay here." - Francisco said as he took the bend in front with a hasted pace.

&nbsp;

Part of me wasn't sure to trust humans. &nbsp;Humans were just another kind of demon... at least that's what we were taught as imps.

&nbsp;

- "I can assure you can trust these people. &nbsp;They won't hurt us." - Rafael quickly deciphered the worry on my face.

&nbsp;

- "Allright..." - I sighed.

&nbsp;

He warps an arm around my waist and I lean against him. &nbsp;I amusedly listen to his heartbeat, but then a presence disturbs my piece. &nbsp;Right at the bend where Francisco vanished, a shadow was casted. &nbsp;It got larger within moments, signaling that it was getting closer. &nbsp;And the smell, I remembered the smell.

&nbsp;

- "Dose, what's wrong?" - Rafael turned to face the same direction I looked.

&nbsp;

- "I have a bad feeling, hun." -

&nbsp;

The incubus steps into the light, and it was just who I thought. &nbsp;And the last one I would expect at this point. &nbsp;It was Gai, and he thumped his way into our space with a devilish face.

&nbsp;

- "You, weakling friend of Sebastian's! &nbsp;What are you doing here?" - He was quick to ask in a growl.

&nbsp;

- "None of your business." - I growl back.

&nbsp;

- "I guess not. &nbsp;Heh." -

&nbsp;

I truly hate that defiant smug that poisons whatever he does. &nbsp;I can only wonder what his problem is. &nbsp;He stares at my angel, then he steps in front of him, disturbing his personal space. &nbsp;Rafael stands his ground.

&nbsp;

- "You know what? &nbsp;I hate blue-bloods like you." - Gai stated.

&nbsp;

Like an ardent flare, Rafael's eyes lit up with ferocity. &nbsp;He stood firm like primordial stone and that caught Gai off guard.

&nbsp;

- "I'd like to see you even try to touch me." - Rafael challenged.

&nbsp;

- "Pfft. &nbsp;What can you do?" -

&nbsp;

- "I can do what any demon can. &nbsp;I can surely face you." -

&nbsp;

- "Can't you see? &nbsp;I'm bigger and stronger, fool! &nbsp;I'll break you!" -

&nbsp;

- "You don't know who you're messing with, freak." - Rafael riposted.

&nbsp;

Gai then takes his eyes off both of us and he proceeds his way, wherever that might be. &nbsp;Both Rafa and I stare at his back and his strut, then I look at my lover.

&nbsp;

- "Do you know what you're getting yourself into?!" - I asked the angel. &nbsp;He still looked angry.

&nbsp;

- "I don't like him one bit." -

&nbsp;

- "Neither do I. &nbsp;But we have to be careful." -

&nbsp;

At that moment, the doctor steps in. &nbsp;We both quickly place our attention on the man in the white coat.

&nbsp;

- "Ah, a companion. &nbsp;Pleased to meet you." - When he saw me, he quickly stretched his hand for me to shake the way a human would do to another. &nbsp;I complied and he smiled.

&nbsp;

- "My name's Oscar. &nbsp;What can I do for you?" - He then stated with much cordiality.

&nbsp;

This man wasn't afraid, he was pleased to see us, &nbsp;and he really meant so. &nbsp;His tone wasn't pretentious and his stance was relaxed. &nbsp;So far, so good.

&nbsp;

- "Well, we want to know more about our... condition. &nbsp;I talked to you about this earlier, maybe you can tell him what you told me." - Rafael told the doctor.

&nbsp;

- "Very well. &nbsp;You see, son, I only know that they are indeed poisonous and corrosive. &nbsp;This however is very radically different from individual to individual, but it always kills after some time. &nbsp;I don't know why or how exactly, and I don't know how I will exactly find that out, but it seems that your species as a general rule is allergic to each other when it comes to extraordinary contact with the same sex. &nbsp;You understand." - &nbsp;The doctor explained very methodically, and I could follow pretty closely.

&nbsp;

- "Yes, I follow. &nbsp;And, what does your injection do, exactly?" - I asked.

&nbsp;

- "I managed to synthesize the hormones that help you get the energy you need. &nbsp;It's effective in keeping you off humans for a while. &nbsp;It was easy to harness since all we need is our own kind. &nbsp;It's still not perfect, so you need to be careful." -

&nbsp;

- "Well, thanks for everything, doc." - Rafael thanked him.

&nbsp;

- "Don't worry about that. &nbsp;I suggest you two come here tomorrow. &nbsp;Maybe we can work on something." -&nbsp;

&nbsp;

- "Sure." - I agreed.

&nbsp;

I took both injections and headed out the same way we came. &nbsp;After a few minutes, we found ourselves back outside, high above the city. &nbsp;Rafael contemplated where to go next, and I could only wonder.

&nbsp;

- "Now where are we going?" - I asked.

&nbsp;

- "I don't know. &nbsp;Since we don't have to "eat", maybe we can relax at the docks." - He told me.

&nbsp;

- "Well, that seems like a good idea." -

&nbsp;

We quickly found the dock and headed in its direction. &nbsp;It was sunset, and we sat and contemplated it, Rafael putting an arm around my shoulder. &nbsp;I loved the feeling of his fur with mine, and I started to wonder of how it would be to make love with him. &nbsp;We spent a long while like that...

&nbsp;

...

&nbsp;

Then the sound of flapping wings signaled that something big neared.

&nbsp;

- "Hey, angel! &nbsp;I'm not going anywhere while you have your head on!" -

&nbsp;

The impact was imminent, I just froze there not knowing what to do. &nbsp;Rafael reacts and pushes me out of the way. &nbsp;Gay just barreled shoulder-first into Rafael, knocking the air out of him and his body all the way into the drink.

&nbsp;

- "Rafael!" -&nbsp;

&nbsp;

I quickly looked for Rafael, but Gai just had victory drawn on his face.

&nbsp;

A moment later Rafael shoots out of the water and strikes at Gai, which grazes off his muscular chest. &nbsp;In that moment the big demon took the opportunity to grab Rafael by the arm and flings him back into the water with a swing. &nbsp;Rafael manages to stabilize his trajectory with his powerful wings, recovering from the throw.

&nbsp;

- "Gai, don't mess with me!" - My angel Shouts.

&nbsp;

Rafael readies his claws and flies at Gai in another attack. &nbsp;Gai manages to once again evade Rafael's swipe and counters, but Rafael floats out of the way.

&nbsp;

- "Stupid angel, come here!" -

&nbsp;

- "Hey big guy, come and get me!" - Rafael shouted.

&nbsp;

Gai chased Rafael all around the dock, but he simply couldn't get close enough. &nbsp;He flew above the sea, in a cat and mouse chase.

&nbsp;

- "Boto, help me." -

&nbsp;

I don't know how Rafael knew that Boto would hear him. &nbsp;Rafael had stopped and Gai tried to reach him, but failed.

&nbsp;

- "Why are you stopping, fool?" - Gai shouts.

&nbsp;

- "It only gets better." - Rafael mocks.

&nbsp;

Rafael and Gai hovered a few inches from the water. &nbsp;Then suddenly a hand comes from under Gai and grabs his big leg, sinking him wholly an instant later. &nbsp;Boto then follows by flying out the water with Gai in tow. &nbsp;After reaching a few meters of altitude, he builds up momentum in series of somersaults that result in Gai being launched from Botos grip in a meteoric trajectory directly at the concrete of the dock. &nbsp;Gray debris and dust flies everywhere upon impact, a small crater remained where Gai had fallen. &nbsp;If anything would make the musclebound demon flinch, that would.

&nbsp;

- "Gahh...what's this? &nbsp;Unghh... two against one? &nbsp;That's unfair!" - Gai roared.

&nbsp;

- "You have to leave us alone, demon." - Rafael forcefully stated.

&nbsp;

- "Leave you alone? &nbsp;I won't rest till all the blue bloods die like he should!" -

&nbsp;

Gai stood from the crater and shook off debris and dust, shooting towards Rafael and Boto like a ballistic projectile. &nbsp;Meeting each other in midair, they began to brawl. &nbsp;Gai blindly sent swipes every which way, but he got no sure mark. &nbsp;I was so worried for them, but part of me did want them to give the bully a well deserved gangbang. &nbsp;Another part of me wanted to jump in, but I just didn't see how.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

Then out of nowhere I feel my arm being pulled. &nbsp;From a glance, it was Francisco, and without saying anything he sticks my bicep with a needle. &nbsp;I wanted to ask what the hell was he doing, but then a sharp pain invaded my arm and I could only scream in reaction.

&nbsp;

I felt like I was going to black out, but it quickly recedes...

&nbsp;

...

&nbsp;

What the hell just happened?

&nbsp;

The sounds of the previous brawl call back my attention. &nbsp;I just cover the small wound of the needle and I look back at the battling trio.

&nbsp;

&nbsp;

- "Gai, stop!" - Rafael exclaims.

&nbsp;

- "What the hell, guys! Stop this!" - I shout

&nbsp;

The chase resumes, but Rafael takes a moment to talk to me. &nbsp;He seems my deeply concerned eyes.

&nbsp;

- "I'm sorry about this, but he has me very angry." - Rafael growled.

&nbsp;

I see him, blood stains on his fur and a few open wounds. &nbsp;It worries me deeply..

&nbsp;

- "Rafa, are you hurt?" - I hug the angel.

&nbsp;

- "Don't worry, it's just a few scrapes. &nbsp;Just stay here, I'll be fine." -

&nbsp;

He releases me and quickly dashes back into the brawl. &nbsp;I didn't want anyone to get hurt, but there was nothing I could do. &nbsp;Boto kept toe to toe with Gai, but he seemed to have fun. &nbsp;Gai was slowly and clumsy, his attacks were far from their mark. &nbsp;When Gai seemed to actually hit Boto, he dissolved into water. &nbsp;The enraged Gai looked around, wondering what could've happened to the water demon, completely unaware. &nbsp;Another instant and Boto jumps out from under Gai, his claws rending a bloody trail across Gai's chest. &nbsp;Gai cries out in pain and falls to the water. &nbsp;There he remained still, floating on the water, defeated and badly hurt.

&nbsp;

- "You chose the worst time to bother anyone." -

&nbsp;

- "Geh...." - Gai just closed his eyes and passed out on the sea.

&nbsp;

...

&nbsp;

Rafa and Boto take the bashed Gai to the dock. &nbsp;The herculean demon had his eyes closed, and they all three looked badly bruised from the violence.

&nbsp;

- "He was too reckless and besides, I had all the advantage. &nbsp;We were very close to the water." - Boto states.

&nbsp;

- "Lucky that you were here." - Rafael tells him.

&nbsp;

- "I would say so." -

&nbsp;

- "Say, Boto. &nbsp;Rafa and I are going home. &nbsp;You want to come?" - I thought it was a good idea.

&nbsp;

- "I don't know..." -&nbsp;

&nbsp;

- "Come on, you'll have fun." - I urged.

&nbsp;

- "Well, fine. &nbsp;Just for a while. &nbsp;I don't have anything better to do." - He agrees.

&nbsp;

- "And what will we do with Gai." - Rafael asked.

&nbsp;

- "Leave that crazy basted alone. &nbsp;He can fare for himself." - Boto shrugged.

&nbsp;

Out of nowhere I start feeling sorry for Gai. &nbsp;I just... I felt pity for him. &nbsp;

&nbsp;

That takes second plane when Rafael grabs my hand. &nbsp;I look at him with a smile, then we both take flight, Boto tagging along as well. &nbsp;

&nbsp;

While flying, I looked at the tiny wound on my arm. &nbsp;It reminded me that Francisco had injected me with something, but I was yet to feel any different, so I said nothing. &nbsp;Why would I want to worry Rafael now...?

&nbsp;

Minutes of travel follow, past the portal to our world and then to our house. &nbsp;When we finally arrive, we find Yuri and Aoi.

&nbsp;

- "Dose, you're here! &nbsp;And whose are they?" - Aoi greets.

&nbsp;

No one minded the bruises and scrapes, it seemed.

&nbsp;

- "This is Rafael, my beloved angel." - I tell her.

&nbsp;

- "So you finally found one, eh? &nbsp;You're a pretty one. &nbsp;I'm Yuri, and this is Aoi." - Yuri glanced at her voluptuous lover.

&nbsp;

- "The pleasure is mine." - Rafael answered.

&nbsp;

- "Oh, so nice!" - Aoi, smiles.

&nbsp;

- "This other guy is Boto." - I pat the incubus to my right.

&nbsp;

- "It's a shame that you two don't like males, because I would do you both right now." - Boto said flirtatiously.

&nbsp;

- "Hehe, you smell different. &nbsp;You're a blue blood?" - Aoi asked.

&nbsp;

- "Yep, I can control water and I can transform in it." - Boto gloated.

&nbsp;

- "Really?! &nbsp;Come on, show us!" - Aoi said excitedly, trying to nudge Yuri into the excitement.

&nbsp;

- "Hey... wah!" - They take Boto to the lake, pulling him by the arms. &nbsp;And we just watch them run to the lake as quickly as the could.

&nbsp;

A few moments later Sebastian walks in. &nbsp;He looked tired and worn, I could've sworn he was in a fight or something. &nbsp;He finds us standing on the door.

&nbsp;

- "I suppose you're Rafael. &nbsp;My name's Sebastian." - He was slightly reluctant as he greeted, but not too bad.

&nbsp;

- "My pleasure." - Rafa answers. &nbsp;Sebastian just kept on his way an headed to his room.
