#1 of Fictober 2018

What the heck is this all about?!

I had considered doing something like Inktober myself, except doing stories instead of drawings.  With the push of a friend of mine, I decided to go ahead and try my hand at it.  Unfortunately, none of the prompts for Inktober seemed to work for me, so I figured I might as well create my own.  Thus, Fictober was born.

Yes, I have little to no idea what I'm doing.  But I guess that fits in with the theme of the original.  And it's less stressful than NaNoWriMo.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this crazy bit of nonsense I've cooked up.  With any luck, maybe I can make this an annual thing.  Might even be able to get others to join, which would bring me nothing but joy!  And probably a lot of attention and stress I don't want.  You know how these things tend to go.  I'll be sure to remember all you wonderful people as I'm going down in flames.  Or tarred, feathered, and ran off the internet on a rail.  Not sure how that would work, but when has that ever stopped the internet?
