That, and the idea got stuck in my head and I kinda liked it.\u0026nbsp;\n\nI'm labeling it adult because interpretation is a personal experience, and frankly it can be read that way.\u0026nbsp;\n\nAs always, I appreciate and encourage criticism.\u0026nbsp; If you have something to say about the poem, drop a comment or throw me a message, I want to know what you think!\u0026nbsp; I want to use it to improve!\u0026nbsp; And I would also like to thank\u0026nbsp;a few friends, Mr. Eupherious among them as always, for looking over this work for me.\u0026nbsp;\n\nContent copyright Sneeze 2010.\u0026nbsp; Please don't use without permission.\u0026nbsp;\n\n_the Duet_\n\nWe, the Young and Uninitiated,\n\ncame not expecting to see you and her.\u0026nbsp;\n\nit was a small place; dark, smoky, humid, hot;\n\nWe were not comfortable - but you were\n\nyou and her.\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nher cheeks were red like she was embarrassed,\n\nshe never made a sound until you touched her.\u0026nbsp;\n\nher neck was long and slim, the better for your caress.\u0026nbsp;\n\nshe was old, her years showed; We, the Young and Uninitiated\n\ndidn't care for her looks\n\nbut looks aren't important for you, as you were old too\n\nyou and her.\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nyou approached her and lifted her gently, making sure she was alright --\n\nyou always made sure she was alright --\n\nyou danced your fingers on her neck, across her cheeks\n\nand she laughed; she knew your intentions.\n\nWe, the Young and Uninitiated, did not know what was in store\n\nthe love you would make, the dance you would share, with her.\u0026nbsp;\n\nyou and her.\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nyour touches were still light but they had a different feel;\n\nshe was no longer laughing; she was singing\n\nsinging a song you wanted her to sing.\u0026nbsp;\n\nyour hands moved\n\nalong her neck\n\nacross her cheeks\n\nmaking her voice rise and fall,\n\nmaking her sing fast and slow;\n\nthe song was still light\n\nyet it was growing,\n\neven We, the Young and Uninitiated could feel it:\u0026nbsp;\n\nthe momentum between you\n\nthe bond you shared\n\nyou and her.\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nyou began to move faster\n\nyour fingers getting harder\n\nher voice went from\n\nlow growls to\n\nhigh wails\n\nyou were guiding her\n\nshe was guiding you\n\nit was a dance\n\nit was love\n\nit was something\n\nwe, the young and uninitiated didn't understand\n\ndid you understand it?\u0026nbsp;\n\ncan it be understood?\u0026nbsp;\n\nor is it Felt?\u0026nbsp;\n\nFelt by people like you\n\nyou and her.\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nyour song was no longer light\n\nshe was no longer singing\n\nthe heat in the room was oppressive yet no one felt it\n\nyour face echoed her screams\n\nof passion of pleasure\n\nof desire of need\n\nof things we the young and uninitiated had never known\n\nyour entire body moved hers but it was still\n\nyour fingers\n\nyour hands\n\nthat made her make the most noise\n\nyou moved faster and slower\n\nlouder and softer\n\nharder and easier\n\nand she echoed it her voice\n\nincreasing and decreasing\n\nmoving up and moving down\n\nintensifying and relaxing\n\nbut you moved constantly\n\neach peak higher\n\neach valley lower\n\nall the time striking we the young and uninitiated with Awe\n\nYou were a master of Your Art\n\nShe knew how to respond and move You in turn\n\na song a dance between equal partners\n\nbetween\n\nYou and Her.\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nafter the peak You and She reached You continued on for a few moments,\n\nlike You always do,\n\nreceding into an afterglow, a soft spot to relax after such a show;\n\nand it was a show - You and She were voyeurs\n\nnot caring who saw\n\nYour Love\n\nYour Dance\n\nYour Duet\n\nnot caring if anyone saw it at all,\n\nit was never about an audience, show though it was\n\nit was always about\n\nYou and Her.\u0026nbsp;\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nwe the young and uninitiated were struck dumb;\n\nYou held such a mastery of Your Art,\n\nShe knew the perfect ways to complement It.\u0026nbsp;\n\nwould any of us ever know what it feels like to perform\n\nsuch a Duet?\u0026nbsp;\n\nsuch a Dance?\u0026nbsp;\n\nperhaps a few, perhaps none,\n\nperhaps none of us felt\n\nthe burn of Passion You carry\n\nthe Passion that moves You to such great heights\n\nsuch beautiful music;\n\nsuch elegant dancing;\u0026nbsp;\u0026nbsp;\n\nsuch wondrous Love;\n\nYou and Her.\u0026nbsp;\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"Poetry","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/175011-the-soloist.json"}}
