Restless and defeated  
Under this willow I am bleeding  
Wounded from the blade of a soldier  
  
The day grows older  
The sun was high  
But it begins to set  
  
Hours have passed  
How long will it last  
This pain that dwells  
  
There I can see  
A shadow it be  
Coming closer to thee  
  
Words I could not speak  
I could not shout  
Without the blood dripping from my mouth  
  
The shade came closer  
Came into view  
Then I knew  
  
He came closer  
I could not move  
Trapped here by my wound  
  
He stood in front of me  
Steel in hand  
And..........
