# A Dragon's Oath

Don't know why I wrote this. Usually I'm not the one who likes poems that much but it turned out to be quite good (at least I think so). Let me know if I'm right...

**I was born human as normal as anyone could be:**

**Tall, blond hair and eyes as blue as the sea.**

**One day my life changed more than a bit;**

**I've got a great present and became misfit.**

**My present was the power to become a dragon at will -**

**a giant lizard with wings, talons, scales and a tail.**

**I used my power to improve the world but people did missunderstood;**

**anger and fear incited them to hunt me for their good.**

** ****  **

**I learned my lesson as they nearly killed me.**

**Now I hide in the shadows but I still fight knightly!**

**As long as I live I’ll be a dragon and I might be hunted forever;**

**after all I swear to protect the innocent and defend the helpless, ever!**
