This is completely fictional. This letter is suppose to be found when a man is trying to reach his daughter who is located in a base/sanctuary away from the horrors that lurk the world. To how he discovered this letter is a tale in itself...

Dear (Faded),  
Its been a while since I've written to you. I'm sorry this happened, it's just so hard to communicate anymore since the outbreak. It's been hard for everyone; especially those who are left out there with them. I'm lucky that the base is still safe. For once I feel secure.   
Are things going ok? I remembered you last wrote about the group of people you're with now. I hope you are all safe, or at least doing better than us...  
Even though the base here is safe, hordes keep attacking the walls, trying to get in. I know with the high security and all that we should have nothing to worry about, but I just have a bad feeling. Maybe I should not worry like you've always told me....  
I miss you...  
I just hope that we can be together again. I miss hearing the stories you would tell me about how things use to be. I miss everything, but I know I will see you soon like we promised each other. I just hope this letter gets to you. Whatever happens, just remember I love you.
