Starr is awake

March 2-13, 2019  
  
Dear diary,  
  
Sofie keeps avoiding me. I haven't even seen her since last night. I tried to call her, but her phone is off.  
  
I couldn't even make it to my desk. I broke down crying and ran for Lu's bar.   
  
I was totally wasted by noon. I feel sorry for Lu, having to deal with me like this. I don't remember anything between my first few drinks and waking up in the hospital. Sofie was there when I woke up, but she just sat cradling her head in her hands. When I tried to talk to her, she left, crying.   
  
Küt filled me in. I had been in a drunk driving accident. I flipped my car and broke my whole face and a couple vertebrae. I was out for 11 days. I was horrified. That car I got Sofie is killing me.

Dear diary,  
  
Sofie didn't visit.   
  
I called Zach, and asked him again about his idea. He didn't give me any options, just said he'd take care of it and hung up.
