A Fallen Angel

 

I hear the angel's voice

My eyes widen

I turn, only to feel the shock

I see the vision being pulled away

There is only darkness now

 

I remove the shroud

To see the angel sprawled in the sand

My body is pulled to that vision

 

There lay the angel

Wings turning red

I caress the angel's cheek with my unfelt hand

I now look through a clear haze

 

The angel raises a gentle hand

Pulling my frame toward

With a smile, says

"Dont be angry"

 

The arm falls limp

There is no sound

Only myself

And A Fallen Angel
