# Orders Up, Options Sideways (Otherwise Untitled) Author: Moriar Tags: Gryphon, Microfiction, Possum #144 of Short Stories A gryphon expresses confusion and dismay in a fast food place. ~     The possum shrugged to the gryphon, his hands, fingers, and mouth a complicated nest of support and manipulation around the burrito that he was struggling to eat faster than it could fall apart. ~     "But, then why even have it on the menu?", the gryphon glaring down into the bowl of soup. ~     "This place sells tacos, and something called 'Ice Mixin', Beth. I gave up on making sense of it years ago.", the possum wasting several precious moments of burrito integrity to reassure his friend. ~     The gryphon held up the fork, "They don't even have spoons!"
