This is a certain truth. It changed when the city of Zootopia was founded, and it changed once again thanks to the actions of two brave mammals, or at least it began to change. Sometimes, changes comes not as the appearing of something new, but as the return of something that was lost or hidden.\nThe world of mammals is about to change...","content":"The World is a beautiful place. Landscapes of unmatched beauty. Fresh fields of grass, which would bloom in a thousand colors each spring. Life booming from all sides and in all styles.\n\nBut still... why it was such a horrible place to live in?\n\n_Curse them..._\n\nIt was not the place. For it was beautiful beyond all understanding. That is something I have always known.\n\nCurse them...\n\nIt was not the creatures that scrawled around and ate each other. They merely followed what nature told them to do. It was not their fault, they only did what they were supposed to do.\n\nCurse them.\n\nIt was not the events made by the wrath of nature. These were merely the world spinning, moving and changing all that was on it. Something was out of place, so nature corrected itself. It was how it worked. I know that pretty well.\n\nCurse them!\n\nThem why? Why the world is such a horrible place to live?\n\nWell, the answer is simple, and is one that I know very well:\n\nMammals.\n\nCurse them!\n\nThey spread across this world like a plague, and they consumed what was on their sight. They saw something that they liked, and instead of leaving it be, as they should with anything so marvelous, like any other creature would, they wanted to claim it for their own. Make it their property so they could have something out of it.\n\nCurse them!\n\nIf they saw something that was unpleasant for them, or that they didn't understand, they wanted to get rid of it without regard for others, only because it was something that didn't felt like they had to tolerate.\n\nCurse them! Curse them!\n\nThey took everything for granted, and they ruined the world.\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nThey were unable to accept difference, and they were quick to find a target for their anger. They turned on each other.\n\nThey are unable to get along, and they attack and kill each other for the most stupid reasons, making a mess of this world.\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nThey would change the world to fit their own ideas and when unsatisfied, they would always search for more.\n\nThey would cheat, lie, steal, sin, kill and destroy, not because nature told them to, but because they were moved by their own greed, their own lusts, their own ambitions, and their own unspeakable desires.\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nThey destroyed and oppressed each other. Big mammals would move forward by trampling into the smaller. They would redistribute the resources that should belong to everyone so they could have more while others starved and died of cold and suffering.\n\nThey wagged war for the most stupid motives, destroying themselves and the world around them.\n\nThey destroyed nature and balance that was delicately built for the shake of satisfying their needs, and even though they saw what disastrous end they were going, they continued on that path.\n\nThey invented concepts, biases, bigotries, prejudices and pre-fabricated truths on a whim. Giving themselves more reasons to have envy, to despise, to fight, to kill, to resent.\n\nTo Hate.\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nSo, it was not the World's fault if it was horrible to live in it.\n\nThe World was not cruel.\n\nNever the World.\n\nIt was mammals.\n\nThey were the ones who ruined the World.\n\nThey were the ones who made it a horrible place to live.\n\nThey were to blame.\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nCurse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them! Curse them!\n\nI feel a breeze on my face. The smell from it reaches my nostrils as if it was a sweet perfume.\n\nMy eyes snap open, and I look.\n\nI see the World.\n\nI look at it as if it was the first time I ever saw it, even though this is very far from being the truth.\n\nI see everything that I love before my eyes.\n\nI also see what I hate.\n\nMammals.\n\nMillions of them.\n\nI feel revulsion for looking at them.\n\nOnly knowing that they are there makes my body clench in disgust.\n\nI know that it is not their fault.\n\nI know that they cannot avoid being like that. It is just their nature, just like it is the nature of the fish to swim, of the eagle to fly, and of the mosquito to suck on blood.\n\nI know. I understand. I forgive them.\n\nOf course, knowing, understanding, and forgiving does not make their existence bearable.\n\nActually, somehow it makes me hate them even more.\n\nI want to hurt them.\n\nI want to kill them.\n\nI want to see them squirm.\n\nI want to see them burn.\n\nThey are all my enemies. Every single mammal alive is my enemy. So, I must wage war against them, like they do with anything they consider their enemy.\n\nOnce more, the World is moving.\n\nA change comes in the horizon, and I am in the center of it.\n\nThe time has come.\n\nTime for Vengeance\n\n  \n  \n\n","series":{"name":"NaZooverse Book 1 - The Risen Curtain","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/1469396-the-risen-curtain-chapter-1-the-last-day-before-the-storm.json"}}
