A calm breeze blew past her, ruffling her fur and shaking loose a few petals, sending them drifting gently down about her. After the defeat of Yami, she had returned to the Celestial Plains with Waka to relax and enjoy herself. Her left ear twitched at a steadily approaching sound. It was the lilting melody of Waka's flute, the notes fluttering on the warm breeze.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Ah, Amaterasu there you are.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nShe picked her head up a little to look behind her.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"What is it Waka? I'm enjoying myself here.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"There has been unrest in Nippon in the last couple of months. People are saying that Oni Island has reappeared.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nShe let out a yawn before chuckling and scratching an itch behind her right ear.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I'm sure it's just an illusion. Now let me finish my nap.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Aren't you at least curious?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Not really,\" she said, resting her head back down on her paws as her tail wagged slowly back and forth.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Oh come now ma Cherie. Surely you miss your friends. Especially your little bouncing friend.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Issun can take care of himself.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"How about Sakuya? The door of the ark opened and lowered onto the frozen land of Wep'keer.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Ahh, great goddess Amaterasu, so nice to see you again.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmaterasu looked to her left to see Kai walking up.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Hello Kai,\" she said with a wag of her tail as she got her ears scratched.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"What brings you back here?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Waka believes something evil is going on. Right Waka?\" she said, looking back but finding no Waka. _\"Always disappearing on me.\"_\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Nothing's been happening around here, but if you want better answers you should speak to Oki.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Thank you Kai.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmaterasu walked down the hill past the villagers as they waved and gave her the occasional scratch behind the ear. She got to the small open field where a single hut was. Four torches on stands marked the corners of the field, a lone wolf with a mask over its head and a sword on its back standing in the center. It was in a striking pose but not moving.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Hello Oki. How are you?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nOki was unresponsive as he stood there.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Oki? Are you okay?\" Ammy asked, coming closer.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe sword on Oki's back flashed quickly before he struck. Ammy managed a back flip as the sword hit the space she was occupying a second ago.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Oki, what are you doing?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Your illusion can't fool me. Prepare yourself,\" Oki growled angrily.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmmy saw that he was serious, so she got into a fighting stance as well, the glaive Seven Strike appearing on her back. They circled each-other slowly before Oki attacked first. Ammy countered each attack thrown by Oki as they went into a deadlock.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Oki, what is wrong with you?\" Ammy said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHe didn't respond as he pushed her back. He went on the offense again but missed his attack as Ammy jumped into the air. She used the mist technique, and time seemed to slow down. She used the chance and tackled Oki on his back, her glaive pointed at his neck.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Start explaining yourself Oki,\" she growled.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Forgive me Amaterasu. I had to see if you were the real thing.\" Oki said ears down.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmmy let out a humph and got off before sitting down. Oki rolled to his side before getting up and doing a flip changing to his human form. He was a medium size man wearing the mask that was over his head in wolf form, along with a purple outfit with a red vest. A fierce, chilling wind blew by them, making Ammy shiver a little. Oki walked towards the small hut and opened the tent flap, motioning for Ammy to follow. She walked in and sat next the fire that was in the middle.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"What's happening Oki?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"It started a month ago. The blizzard that happened when the twin devils were here began to start again. I made the journey back to Wawku Shrine thinking they were back, but didn't see anything. But I did get a short glimpse of a shadow that looked like a wolf.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"And you thought it was me?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Or something close to you.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"At least you're still thinking about me,\" she said with a chuckle, making Oki grunt.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Ammy is that you?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHer ears perked up as she recognized the voice.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Issun?\" she said, looking around.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Over here.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nShe looked towards the tent flap to see a bouncing green ball of light.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Issun!!\" she said happily, and hurried over with a wagging tail.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Whoa, down girl,\" he chuckled before hopping on her nose. \"How are you cutie?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Pretty good. How about you?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I've been better. Where's that half bit prophet at?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You know Waka. Ammy padded to rejoin him, seating herself across from him.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"There is evil afoot somewhere affecting all of Nippon. It must be defeated at all costs before it is too late.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I heard rumors that Oni Island is back,\" Issun said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Impossible. I defeated the evil in that place,\" Ammy responded.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Hey, don't kill the messenger fur ball. I'm just saying what I heard.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey sat in silence for a minute as the only thin you could hear was the howling of the wind and the crackling of the fire. Ammy sighed as looked into to the fire.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Guess I have no choice but to travel to the Dragon Palace by way of North Ryoshima Coast.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I'm going too! It'll be like old times huh Ammy?\" Issun said bouncing happily.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I'll go too.\" Oki said, standing up.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Won't the elder get mad?\" Ammy asked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Probably, but I'm doing this for our village as well.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Okay, let's go.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey headed out of the hut and down the snowy trail towards Shinshu field. Once they arrived, Ammy smiled as she saw the cherry blossom tree standing tall and beautiful. Birds chirped in the air and the various wildlife grazed on the grass. A cool breeze washed over her, making her feel giddy. She even saw the dojo, along with the messenger Ida doing his daily run.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Just like you left it huh Ammy?\" Issun said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Yes. It's still beautiful. The wind is gentle and calm.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey hopped down the hill and headed towards Agata forest. Everything in Agata forest was the same as when she left it. From the sleeping bear on top of the acorn, to Kokari fishing in the lake with his canine friend and member of the canine warriors Jin, who was lying down next to him. Tall, droopy trees gave the forest a swamp like look, but the sun gave it a better disposition. Leaves crunched under their feet as they made their way down the hill towards Taka pass.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Everything seems normal here,\" Issun said looking around.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Or maybe it's just an illusion,\" Oki added.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey walked a ways further down the forest path, until suddenly, Oki tensed up.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"What's wrong?\" Ammy asked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Something's here,\" he said, hand on his sword.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey looked around until a blur dashed from tree to tree. Ammy saw it and used the power slash to cut the tree in half as the shadow dashed from behind it.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"There it goes,\" Oki said, chasing it into a cave under a waterfall.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nChasing after it lead them to a small cave that was occupied by another blossom tree.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Stop hiding. We know you're here.\" Oki said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nA small fox with a mask covering its face poked its head out from behind the tree.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Sun goddess Amaterasu, so nice to see you again,\" it said as it sat in front of the tree.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nIts body had X mark scars on it along with a mask covering its face.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Who are you?\" Ammy growled.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You've forgotten me already? For shame Amaterasu.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe Exorcism rosary beads appeared around Ammy as she grabbed them and lashed them out at the fox like a whip. The fox disappeared with a chuckle as the beads hit dead air with a crack before circling around Ammy's body again.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"That's not how you treat an old friend,\" the fox said, appearing upside down on the cave wall. \"You could at least say hi.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nIt disappeared again, before reappearing in front of her, making her gasp.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I see you haven't aged. That's a good thing.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Begone demon,\" Oki shouted, striking out at the fox but hitting nothing but air.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I look forward to seeing you again Amaterasu. That is, if you live long enough.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey walked back towards the entrance of the cave as their eyes widened. The once peacefully blue sky turned dark as thunder clouds rolled in. The blooming trees started to wilt and demon scrolls started to appear turning into red and green imps.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You were right Oki. Evil is afoot here,\" Ammy said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Do you think the rumor is true?\" Issun asked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Only one way to find out isn't there?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n-\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nRepede let out a yawn and curled into a ball on the bed. Yuri was on the window sill looking out on Lower Quarters where he lived. It was a calm day as the sun shone down and the citizens went about their daily activities.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Yuri!!!!\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHe looked down to see Karol running down the street.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Hey captain Karol. Yuri smiled and grabbed his sword before hopping down from the window. They walked up to the large fountain in the middle of the town with idle chatter.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"How's everything with you captain?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Busy. Since the Don's grandson took over, everything is back to normal. Raven's helping him, so he should be in good hands.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"That's good news.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"How's Estelle doing?\"\n\n\"The princess? Well she-\"\n\n\"YURI LOWELL!!! We have you now,\" a voice shouted.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nYuri looked over to see Adecor and Boccos running towards him.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"What did you do this time Yuri?\" Karol asked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Oh, just a couple of things,\" Yuri replied with a smile.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThere was a loud roar heard above them, making everybody freeze and look up as a huge dragon soared over them.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"That's Judy. Come on Yuri,\" Karol said running for the exit.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Sorry Tweedle A and Tweedle B. I\"ll make it up next time,\" Yuri said, catching up with Karol and Repede.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey ran outside to see Judy standing by a ship that was attached to the dragon.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Hey there Yuri. They headed, inside showing their city pass to the entrance guards and walked up the stairs. The city was small despite being built in a cave. Lamp posts lined the stairs, giving it a soft glow as you could even hear you own footsteps. Scholars walked around with books in their hands and robes covering their bodies. Repede let out a yawn before sitting down.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Hey runt, what brings you by?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey looked over to see Rita coming out of her house.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Hey Rita,\" Karol said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I see you brought along Mr. and Mrs. trouble.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Hello to you too,\" Yuri said with a chuckle.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"And of course Mr. trouble always has his faithful hound,\" Rita said, looking at Repede, who let out a humph. \"What brings you guys here?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"A guild job,\" Karol replied.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nJust then a lady with blonde hair tied in a pony tail going down her back and small glasses on the bridge of her nose walked up to them from the library.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I take it you are this Brave Vesperia...?\" she asked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Yes that's us. Why?\"\n\n\"I want to look at the aer kerne there since I never got the chance last time.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Sure. When they got there, the sky was dark and the sea was violent.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"We finally made it. How many of those dumb things did we kill?\" Issun asked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I don't know. But what now? Where is the Dragon Palace?\" Oki asked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"It's under the whirlpool,\" Ammy said looking out into the sea.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nIn the middle of the sea there was a large whirlpool but with the waves crashing around violently, it was impossible to get there.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You see the how violent that water is? You would get washed out and drowned.\" Issun said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"We can't, but there's someone who can,\" Ammy said hurrying to the dock.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey walked on the wooden dock to see a large dolphin with a passenger basket on its back.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I was wondering when you would show up,\" Orca said with a squeaky voice.\n\n\"Sorry, traffic was bad,\" Ammy said hopping in.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Who is that with you?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Oki of the Onia tribe. He is worthy also.\"\n\n\"If time wasn't of the essence I would object. Hurry.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nOki hopped on as Orca took off. The water was harsh as Ammy and Oki had to hold on.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Look, it has returned,\" Orca said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey looked off in the distance to see that it was no rumor. Oni Island had returned. It stood out in the middle of the sea, giving off it evil aura.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"So it has returned.\" Issun said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"So it seems,\" Ammy replied with a straight face.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"It seems the evil is in full force also.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Her majesty is waiting for you. Hang on,\" Orca said, heading into the whirlpool.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey arrived under the sea, where Oki was surprised that he could breathe as he saw various fish swim by. The Dragon Palace's front doors opened on their own.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Come, the queen is on the third floor,\" Ammy said, getting on the lift.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey headed up the lift into the throne room where Queen Otohime was sitting. She was a beautiful queen wearing a light green gown with a blue and red collar. Issun let out a sigh as he swooned.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Ah great goddess Amaterasu, so nice to see you again under such dire circumstances.\" Otohime said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"An honor to see you again also Queen Otohime,\" Ammy said, bowing along with Oki.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"And who might you be young man?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I am Oki from the Oina tribe of Wep'keer your majesty.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nShe nodded her head before looking at Ammy.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"As you have probably seen, Oni Island is back.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Yes I know. Do you know why?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I do not. But I feel great evil emitting from it.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Do you think you can get us across like last time?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I don't know. The evil I feel is greater then last time.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nEverybody was quiet until Issun spoke up.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You never know until you try queeny. Besides, if we don't do something things will get worse.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nOtohime sighed before nodding her head.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You are right little poncle. I will help in whatever way I can.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Thank you your majesty,\" they all said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey headed out of the palace where to Orca was waiting. Hopping into the basket, they went ashore and up to Watcher's Cape.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I will now become the Water Dragon using the power of the Dragon Orb and become your bridge to destiny.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nShe held the Dragon Orb in the air as it glowed brightly, covering her in a white cloud. She let out a cry before transforming into a long dragon towering in the sky. She tilted her body at an angle as she fell towards the island. A roar of pain could be heard as she hit the barrier which felt stronger then before as she latched onto the island.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Hurry Amaterasu,\" she groaned.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Right. Let's go Oki.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Okay,\" he said, shifting back to wolf form as they raced across the queen's back.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey made it to the barrier as Ammy hopped through. She let out a growl and turned to face the island's castle.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Let's go Ammy.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Right,\" she said with an angry bark.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nShe made her way quickly through the castle quickly since she remembered her way the first time, even making quick work of Taki the gatekeeper in his seven races to reach the top floor. She walked out and onto the large wooden platform where nine torches were placed in a circle around it.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Amaterasu, so glad you could make it.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmmy looked around but couldn't see anything or anyone.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Show yourself,\" she barked angrily.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe same fox she saw before in the middle of the platform.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You don't know how long I've waited for this moment.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmmy let out a growl and used the power slash, only to have it canceled by the same thing making her gasp.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Impossible,\" Ammy said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Do you remember me now?\" the fox growled.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nLighting flashed in the dark sky above as the torches burnt higher, before making a fire circle around the fox. It let out a howl as the fire raised higher and wider. When it died down, Ninetails stood there in full glory. Each tail had a mask over the tip causing them to act on its own.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Surprise Amaterasu. I'm back.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"How?\" Ammy said, shocked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Let's just say, my anger and rage were too powerful to kill off.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Then I'll just have to kill you again,\" Ammy growled, as the Eighth Wonder glaive appeared on her back.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nNinetails drew the Blade of Kusunagi, but it was different then last time. It was crimson red with a white handle. Each jagged edge sticking out from the blade was pitch black as Ninetails held it in her muzzle.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Come Amaterasu. Let us finish what we started.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Gladly,\" Ammy growled.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\\_\\_\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"So what are we looking for exactly?\" Yuri asked as they walked into the forest.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I told you before. I'll know it when I see it,\" Auria responded.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nKarol looked back to see Rita looking around the forest. The tress were huge and covered any kind of sunlight trying to get in.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"What's up Rita?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"The forest seems to be calming down since Duke calmed the aer kerne with Dein Nomos. Even the dog,\" she said, walking next the plants and taking out her notebook.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Glad you think so,\" Judy said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nYuri took a seat against a tree along with Karol. Judy jumped onto a branch and relaxed as Rita walked towards the aer kerne that was inside a giant oak tree, Repede behind her. The crystals sparkled as Rita examined each of them.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"All right, lets see here.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nRepede sat down, watching her curiously as his tail wagged slowly along the grass. Suddenly, his ears perked up as he heard a faint yelp. It just started reacting but I'm not sure to what or who.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe kerne started to overflow and glow white.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Rita can you stop it?\" Judy asked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I don't know. I can try, but without Dein Nomos, it'll be hard.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nRepede looked on until he saw what appeared to be an image of a wolf on the ground. Rita what happened?\" Yuri asked in a panic.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I don't know. It acted on its own.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Well can you figure something out? How pitiful you look,\" Ninetails said, looking down at Ammy.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmmy was panting heavily on her side. Her snowy white fur had traces of blood and burn marks.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Come on Ammy, get up!\" Issun said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I can't. She's.......too strong.\" Ammy whined.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nOne of Ninetails' tails wrapped around Ammy's body and lifted her up.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"And now Amaterasu, you will die.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHer tail began to construct and crush Ammy as she let out a yelp. Ninetails watched with glee as Ammy's hind legs slowly stopped kicking. That was when something slammed into her side hard, making her release Ammy as she crashed into the wall.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Who dares........\" she growled, shaking her head from the rubble that fell on her.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nWhen she looked back, Amaterasu was gone.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"No!\" she growled angrily, rushing to the edge and looking down.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nShe saw a mixture of blue and white fur rushing to the front gate.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Stop them,\" she howled angrily.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Who........are you?\" Ammy said weakly.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I'll tell you later. How do you get out of here?\" Repede said, carrying her on his back.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Through.......the front......gate. I'll.......use what......power I have.....left to......dispel the......barrier for a.......brief second.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Got it.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHe made a beeline for the gate, hearing the angry mob behind him.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"The gate's up ahead.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Okay.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmmy looked at the gate and power slashed an opening. Hang on,\" Repede said as they hit the water.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHe broke the surface with a gasp and looked around but didn't see the wolf. With a deep breath, he dove under and spotted her sinking. Grabbing her scruff, he rose to the surface.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Damn, not going to get far with the wolf like this.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nSuddenly he was lifted on to a solid surface as Orca appeared underneath him.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Hang on,\" Orca said, and swam away from the island.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Who are you?\" Repede asked, shaking the water off.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Names can be put on hold til we get the sun goddess to safety.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nOrca headed for the whirlpool as Repede gasped.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You're.......not going into that are you?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\\_\\_\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmmy woke with a small moan. She looked around to see she was in the Dragon Palace. She tried to get up up but was still weak and laid back down.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Easy there fur ball, you're still hurt,\" Issun said, hopping over.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Issun? Then the aer kerne started to react, and I saw an image of you laying on the ground. Never heard of it before,\" Issun said, hopping down off Repede's nose.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nBefore Repede could ask something else, Oki walked in.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Amaterasu, how are you feeling?\" he asked, stroking her head softly.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"A little beat up but I'll live.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nOki turned to Repede who tensed up.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Thank you for helping her when I couldn't.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Glad I could help. Now could someone tell me where I am, what the heck was that thing back there, why were you fighting it alone, and how to get back to where I belong?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nOki looked at him before looking back at Ammy.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Her majesty is recovering from being tossed so far. But it'll take some time before she's fully recovered.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I see. I'm sorry I let you down,\" Ammy said, ears down.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You didn't let anybody down Amaterasu. His tail looked strange, as it had a sharp bend in it, a gold ring sitting at its base. Rolls of white fur with a touch of orange was over each paw, making it looking like he was wearing socks. A chain was around his body along with a scarf that was holding a dagger on his right side. His left eye was closed, with a scar over it, while his right eye was crystal blue.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Why do you have a pipe in your mouth? Do you smoke?\" Ammy asked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"No. It's from my late master.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I see.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nIt was quiet again before Oki stood up.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Amaterasu, you need to rest. I'm going back to Waku and see how the village is.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Okay. Thank you again Oki.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I'll let you get some rest also since it seems like I'm going to be here for a while,\" Repede said, standing up and leaving also.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmmy watched them leave before sighing.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"_She's gotten stronger than before. The evil grows with every passing minute,\" Orca said, before heading back into the water.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nRepede watched him go before catching up with Ammy.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"So let me get this straight. You're a sun god. You defeated whatever that was back there long ago and now it's back. But you can't face it again until you get a brush technique which is in a place called Gale Shrine. Oh nothing, just looking around. This place is different then my home. She had strange red marks on head and body that covered her snow white fur. Feathery like wings were sticking out from her two front leg shoulders and two smaller ones from her rear legs. The tip of her happily wagging tail was black.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"So um.......\" he said, trying to divert his eyes. \"Where are we going?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Kusa village, by way of Taka pass.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThey entered Agata forest and headed for the north exit where the log bridge was. Ammy hopped on and crossed over as the rushing stream crashed below her.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Taka pass is right around the corner.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Okay,\" Repede said, hopping on the bridge.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAs soon as he did, it got cut in half, causing him to fall into the rushing water below with a yelp.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Repede!!\" Ammy said, before diving in after him.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nRepede struggled to keep his head up as the water carried him off. Ammy caught up with him and grabbed his scruff before creating a lily pad for them to both stood on.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Thanks,\" Repede said, coughing and panting.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Don't thank me yet, look.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nRepede looked to see a waterfall up ahead.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Just gets better. What now?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmmy looked around until she spotted an open konohana blossom.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Hang onto me.\"\n\n\"Okay,\" Repede said, grabbing her tail.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nShe used the vine technique and it lashed out and grabbed her before they fell down the falls.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Impressive,\" Repede said, hopping down off the blossom.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"My question is, why did the log break?\" Ammy said, shaking the water off.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Maybe it didn't. It was usually busy with tourists, but that seemed to have changed as well as the atmosphere. The air felt almost heavy and tough to breathe in.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"The air seems heavy here,\" Repede said, coughing a little.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"That's because the windmill has stopped,\" Ammy said, looking up.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nSure enough, positioned out on a wooden bridge was a large windmill. But they looked beat up, as a pink dog was being carried on the back of a big Dane.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Oh no, Chi what happened?\" Fuse said rushing up.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nChi let out a small whine as Fuse lifted her up carefully and brought her into the shrine. The rest of the warriors laid down tired and out of energy.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Tei, what happened?\" Ammy asked, walking to the Dane.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"He's back. We stood no chance against him,\" Tei said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Who's back?\" Repede asked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nEverybody looked at him in confusion.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Who are you? I bet I'm faster.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Prove it,\" Tei said, taking a stance.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nRepede smiled and took a step before disappearing. Tei let out a yelp as he got tackled from behind. When he looked up, Repede had a paw on his chest and the dagger at his throat.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Do I qualify now?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nTei was still speechless before nodding his head.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Good,\" Repede said, getting off and spinning the dagger in his muzzle before sheathing it.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nTei stood up and looked at Ammy.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Maybe you two can do what we can't.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"We will succeed Tei. The lift took off with a blast to the second floor and stopped. She made another bomb, taking the lift to the third floor, where they got off. The windmill started to move as the air cleared up around the village. A constellation appeared in the sky as Kazegami appeared.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Oh Amaterasu, mother to us all, please forgive me,\"Kazegami said sadly.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"It wasn't your fault. We weren't really prepared for how strong she was. But next time will different.\" Ammy said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You are right. I will lend my powers to you once more,\" Kazegami said turning into a kanji before getting absorbed into Ammy.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmmy let out a happy bark as she felt whole again.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Now, there's one more loose end to take care of,\" Ammy said.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"What loose end is that?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"We have to defeat Crimson Helm.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Um........okay. Feeling frisky?\" Ammy asked.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Always.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nShe noticed an open blossom, so she used the vine to rappel to the top. They made their way across the rafters to the entrance. Six pillars made a circle around the center, as a shrine was at the end of the room where the Serpent Crystal was. As they reached the center, they heard an evil laugh.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I was wondering when you would show up. The other warriors were so boring.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Show yourself Helm,\" Ammy growled.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe floor started to vibrate slowly then heavily. A huge figure appeared from the shadows and looked down at them. It looked like a large horse-like beast with armor on. It reached to its sides and took out a pair of swords that ignited in flames.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I've been waiting for this moment wolf. You may have made a fool of me last time with that bumbling excuse of a warrior, but this time you're all alone.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I wouldn't say alone,\" Repede said, taking a fighting stance.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"And who are you? Another one of the canine warriors?\"\n\n\"You could say that.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You think you can hurt me?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"We'll find out,\" Repede growled, before charging him.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Repede wait.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHelm smiled as he took a stance and tried to crush him with his feet. Repede was quick as he managed to get behind him. When he got in close, he lashed out with his dagger hitting the armor with a clang that stunned him.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Foolish dog. You can't hurt me.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHelm threw his left rear leg out, catching Repede in his side and making him yelp as he slid and hit the wall.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Repede!!\" Ammy yelped, and hurried over, before being blocked by a wall of fire that surrounded them inside the circle.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Like I said before, it's just you and me.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmmy let out a growl as the Trinity mirror reflector appeared on her back. Helm came at her with heavy swings which she managed to block. Each swing made her grunt as they had power behind each one.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"I have you now!\" he yelled, before jumping back and starting to charge her.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmmy let out a gasp as she double jumped into the air. While in the air, she used the vine technique to lash out onto his neck as she hopped on his back.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"How dare you!\" he yelled, trying to buck her off.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmmy held on tight before a strong buck sent her flying off, but not before planting a cherry bomb on his back. The explosion shattered the armor, revealing a skeleton, its ribcage holding a ball of dark fire that covered its body.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Still as ugly as I remembered,\" Ammy said with a smile.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You insolent cur.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe flame grew bigger, before Helm unleashed a fireball which, Ammy dodged easily along with another. She charged him holding the Thunder Edge glaive in her mouth. She used Kazegami's wind power to quell the fire before striking several times at his body, making Helm yell in pain.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"You will pay for that.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHelm let out a roar, causing the flame in his body to expand. Ammy raised her right front paw up, covering her eyes, which was a mistake. As soon as she lowered her paw, she was caught head on with Helm as he charged her, sending her flying into a pillar with a yelp.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Now you will die,\" Helm growled, opening his mouth as a ball of dark fire gathered in it.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nAmmy's head spun as she shook it. She looked up in time to see that ball of flame hurling towards her. She closed her eyes waiting for the end. When nothing happened, she opened her eyes to see Repede standing in front of her, dagger in his muzzle.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"It's not polite to hit a lady,\" Repede growled.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"What!? How did you get past my barrier of fire?\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"If you think that would've stopped me, you're sadly mistaken. It's time I showed you what I can do,\" Repede said as he started to glow.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Then show me,\" Helm said, bringing his swords in front making an X.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nRepede charged him, gaining speed. He launched himself in the air towards Helm with a spiral twist, breaking both his swords and launching Helm into the air.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Divine dog Savage.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nRepede launched a flurry of lighting quick attacks, staggering Helm in the air. Ammy watched with awe as Repede landed on the ground, dagger in his mouth as he built up power. Repede charged as well, taking out the imps with ease as the frightened dog watched. Of course you can have my fruit.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nShe held out her hand as a peach fell from a branch into her palm. He had never fought anything like this before, and it showed, as the tengu knocked the dagger out his mouth and slashed a gash over his right front leg, making him yip and fall to the floor.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"This isn't good,\" Repede said, gritting his teeth.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe tengu hovered over Repede, raising its sword. Repede looked on as it raised it sword and brought it down...only to be blocked by a tree bark sword with a flower on the tip.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Not so fast vile fiend.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe tengu jumped back and took a stance as Susano stood over Repede.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Instead of picking on a dog, try me, the great warrior Susano.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nThe tengu let out a caw and went on the attack. Amazingly, the once timid Susano turned into a knight, as he blocked, parried, and countered the bird-man's attacks. He had it in a rough spot as it looked tired.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"Time to finish you off with my special attack, The Susano Slice.\"\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHe held the tree bark sword at his side as it started to glow dimly.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\n\"He--yah!\" he shouted, and charged it.\n\n\u0026nbsp;\n\nHe swung right through the tengu's sword and its body, cutting it in half as it dissolved into smoke.
