He would normally be very happy to find her trying to find him, especially to mate, but with a male wolf so close by, he was scared and quickly took off after her trail.\n\nA short ways away from the female wolf was the male wolf, he was indeed big, and old. He used to be alpha of a great pack, perhaps the pack the female came from, but his age was his downfall when a younger, more fit wolf drove him out.
