Snow is my first real piece of writen art. Hopefully this can be the start of a wonderful journey.

Snow falling in the lamplight  
Like a veil to cover my nightmares  
A blanket on the world that brings peace to my restless mind  
That brings quiet to my tortured heart  
For I am alone in darkness  
Lost in the woods  
So small in this world cloaked in snow  
Yet a lamp pierces the darkness  
Calling me out of the night  
Into the arms of those I love  
While the snow swirls endlessly above
