With a frustrated growl, it looked down at the door and realised it had a touch sensor. Rather than force the lock – which it knew it could – it'd also give ample warning to her target...\n\nIt come up with an alternative plan...\n\n\\*\n\nAs the door opened, the Hunter's Commander didn't even look over his shoulder. He sat in a leather high backed chair, his back to the door and his attention fixated on a flat screen television mounted on the wall behind him. As a reflection come over the screen, he sighed and turned it off, before beginning to turn his chair around.\n\nWith a wet, meaty slap, a severed human arm thumped onto his desk and he couldn't help himself – he screamed as his eyes bulged from their sockets and he went ghostly white. His hand slapped down on the covered button and before his shaking fingers could flip the cover open, he shrieked as a large furry hand slashed down and there was a sickening crunch of shattering bones.\n\nHe found himself physically pulled from his chair and bodily slammed down on the desk, as the Were towered over him, its muzzle dripping saliva blood and gore as its lips pulled back and revealed the terrible canines.\n\n“No...you're...” He moaned, eyes wide and mouth falling open.\n\n“I'm harmless...” Snickered the Were.\n\nPicking up the severed arm and then throwing it aside, before all pretence of humour and laughter was washed from its muzzle and it gripped him by the shoulders, then seemingly without any effort at all, the paws contracted and there were two loud snaps as his collar bones were crushed.\n\nAgony swept over him and he began to blubber like a child.\n\n“Oh, no tears please!” Purred the Were, leaning down to touch its cold, wet nose against his. “Its a waste of good suffering...”\n\nHe summoned all his rage, hate and vileness, then spat in its muzzle. Thick globs of saliva soaked the blood drenched fur, turning crimson and drooling down its cheek. Blinking, it used its broad, rough tongue to lick it away.\n\n“Yummy...now, if you're finished being a child...we're going to play a game, its a fun game...did you know there are over two hundred bones in the human body? Believe me, I know...when I get through with you, before you finally get to die...you'll know too...”\n\nGlaring up at her, his anger giving him strength, he glared at her through the tears that welled in his eyes.  \n  \n “I'll never tell you anything, do your worst, I'll die before you get one word out of me...”\n\nRaising an eyebrow, the Were merely grinned wider, then gently enfolded his right wrist, rubbing its paw pads over the sweat clammy skin. Without warning, it twisted and he screamed again as his wrist was broken in three places.\n\n“FUCK!” He shrieked as the agony flared like a bushfire up his arm.\n\n“Maybe later...” Snickered the were. “Now, you seemed to know a lot about these insignificant prey...how about you behave, and tell me all you know about them?”\n\n“Go to hell you mindless beast...I'll never...wait...what are you doing...”\n\nWith a sigh, the Were's jaws cracked open and it looked him over, licking blood off its muzzle as it pondered, then sank its teeth into his upper thigh. Uniform thread purred as the canines sheared through it, then the skin beneath and blood gushed from the wound which the Were drank like fine wine.\n\n“No...no...you can't...” He wailed and tried to sit up, but she growled and using one paw, smashed him flat on the desk, before lifting her muzzle and sighing in pleasure. Idly, she looked at the blood that welled from the wound, then smirked wider before taking a cord from the flag next to the desk and tying it off above the wound.\n\n“I've given you a gift...a rare and valuable one...” Snickered the were, as it straddled his hips and pushed itself down, furred knees either side of his chest.\n\nHe gasped, feeling the saliva in the wound, then the agonising burn as the virus exponentially multiplied through his bloodstream.\n\n“It usually takes a few days to turn someone – conventionally – doing it this way? Oh, maybe an hour or two...”\n\nSitting astride him the Were casually glanced at the clock mounted on the wall.\n\n“I can wait...it can go one of two ways...I'll give you ten minutes to decide...”\n\n\\*\n\nIt took all of less than five minutes to break his will...\n\n\\*\n\nHe told her everything...\n\n\\*\n\nPetting his cheek with its paw pads, the Were climbed off him and stood, then turned its back and rested a paw thoughtfully under its chin.\n\n“You said you'd kill me...” He moaned, the pre-cursor fever making him sweat.\n\n“Life's a bitch...and so am I...” Snickered the Were, looking over its shoulder, before it walked out of the office.\n\n\\*\n\nWith a snarl, the Alpha Therian looked over the destruction that had been wrought in the enclave. He had been away on business for the council. He had been trying to find Scartail, to find out if that pesky human police officer had been silenced – permanently.\n\nHe was enraged beyond comprehension, when he returned to the compound. His family, his friends...their bodies burned to ashes and bones that crumbled in his paws. Anger didn't do it justice – he had failed his people – for nothing had warned them of the impending attack! When he found the severed heads of the Council, his anger nearly overwhelmed him.\n\nFor centuries, they had hidden who and what they were from their cattle – the humans who some of them preyed upon. When they had paid, more than he wanted to remember, to have themselves declared a religious organisation – it had heralded a new and interesting life for them. Freed from human interference, they could do what they wished, within these walls...or so he'd thought.\n\nNo hunter's had dared to even look in their direction for over twenty years! He had dismissed them as being irrelevant and no longer a perceivable threat to him and his...oh, how mistaken was he now...\n\nHis paws contracting in anger, he strode through the burnt remains of their main hall – finding more scenes of slaughter and carnage. Not one body was left – the Hunter's had been thorough, that was certain. His aggitation grew with each step, until it burned like a white hot flame within him. He would hunt them down, make them suffer – as he had suffered, but first...he needed to check on his prisoner..\n\n\\*\n\nLocked up in a dark cell deep underground, the woman was bound in chains, her dress filthy and torn. Her hands shot up as the cell door was slammed open and she screamed in fear and terror, as she seen the large marsupial siloette that filled the doorway. As he approached, she curled up in a ball and began crying helplessly.\n\nHe stopped, pausing in thought, one ear flicking before he growled and seized the chain that was affixed to the wall. With his strength and the anger that fuelled his muscles, he tore the hook from the wall and dragged his hysterical victim behind him. He didn't care if she walked, crawled or got dragged – he was leaving the compound, and she was going with him wetehr she liked it or not.\n\n“Shut up...” Come his barely human snarl, as he yanked the chain and made her stumble to her scarred and scabbed knees.\n\nKnowing better than to cry out in fear, the broken woman obediently followed him. Smoke burned her lungs and made her eyes fill with tears – along with it the stench of death was like a thick pall that hung over the compound. As he rounded a corner, he stopped and stared, the chain falling from his paws as he looked at the figure near the entrance...\n\nLeaning nonchalantly against the door, the Were glanced down at its claws, before splaying them out and admiring them, before it turned its attention to the Alpha of the Therian's.\n\n\"Leaving so soon?...\"\n\nTo Be Continued...","series":{"name":"Dark Valley","previous":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/1559351-dark-valley-chapter-fifteen.json","next":"https://fse.anthro.fr/stories/1559354-dark-valley-chapter-seventeen.json"}}
