Poem for my cat 'Moroes'. He passed away in september 2019. Moroes reached an age of 16 years.

In the throes of life
With woes ascending
A joy of being
Know unknown, oh alive

A love given, conceived
Young and wild
But you were lost
Found within, received

You stayed with me
Sharing in joy uprising
Darkness descending
Bright shadow, Fleeting light

Oh those days in winter
Red fur, yellow eyes staring
A beacon of life
You stayed with me

In your throes of life
With the woes ascending
A darkness none may avert
The shadow of all that strives

Change now in nature's discourse
I will find you in the sky, together
I will find you in the earth, forever
Even if you change to another form, whichever
