Little does she realize, the most talented dressmaking lamia of all resides there.\n\n  \n\nAnd she's in the middle of a fitting.\n\n  \n\n[Anduriel](https://www.furaffinity.net/user/Anduriel)  \n[ANDUR1EL](https://twitter.com/ANDUR1EL)\n  \n  \n\n[Posted using PostyBirb](http://www.postybirb.com)","content":"Twilight Sparkle liked to think she wasn’t a fool, but after her little run in with that lamia, after feeling her spell slithering into her mind and working its enticing charms to render her a dumbstruck, laughing piece of meat, she had little choice but to admit the ponies back home might have been onto something when they told her this research trip was stupid on concept.  \n  \n  \nAnd suicidal in practice.  \n  \n  \nThe mere thought of those beautiful pink and purple swirls which rippled through that giddy lamia’s eyes made her stumble, her belly quivering as another phantom tickle drew a whimper and smile she had to swallow lest she give herself away. Such power! That magic, those coils gripping her body!   \n  \n  \nThose scales caressing and tickling her belly, slithering up to her neck and shoulders until she could only squirm and shriek her mirth to the heavens …  \n  \n  \nTwilight leaned against the side of a nearby tree and shook herself. “Get out!” she hissed, rapping a hoof against the side of her head. “Get out! Get out! Get out of my head!”  \n  \n  \nBut that insidious, hypnotic spell clung fast. As if that lamia had somehow slipped herself in through one of Twilight’s ears and coiled about her brain, and, even now, could squeeze out a giggle at will.  \n  \n  \nThe little unicorn turned and bumped her forehead against the side of the tree trunk, anything to dull the spell for a moment or two.   \n  \n  \nIn the distance, she could hear an angry hiss, and then a flurry of curses. That giggling lamia was drawing closer.  \n  \n  \nAnd worse, it wasn’t giggling.  \n  \n  \nWell, that meant it was high time to get her rear in gear and get her tail the hay out of this forest. If only Twilight knew where in the nine layers of Tartarus she’d gotten to—wait.  \n  \n  \nThus, Twilight felt that lamia’s spell fully wash away from her mind for a few moments, giving way to a more sinister, colder sort of snake just piled down upon her brain and squeezed it for all it was worth.  \n  \n  \nThat metaphorical snake’s name, of course, was Fear. Sometimes it went by Terror or Horror, but they all began from Fear.  \n  \n  \nAnd Fear chose, at that moment, to grip Twilight Sparkle’s poor mind nice and tight and whisper sweetly that she was well and truly lost within the Everfree Forest. Worse still, that she would never leave, just like all the rest.  \n  \n  \nIn her own special way.  \n  \n  \nTwilight stumbled her way through the brush, resisting the urge to fire off a few bolts of magic to disentangle any stray branches and vines from her mane. Ahead, she could see something through the darkness.  \n  \n  \nA light, through an open window.   \n  \n  \nA building!   \n  \n  \nShe hurried forth, trumping her way through the forest as quickly as she could. The building was opulent white, untouched by any branch or sign of monster attack—surprising given that it was in the middle of the Everfree Forest. It was built to look, quite amusingly enough, like a merry-go-round Twilight had seen at the fair with her brother when she was but a filly. Every three or four feet, there was a stone mannequin pony in place, with a pole through its torso.  \n  \n  \nThat slithering and cursing drew closer still.  \n  \n  \nTwilight made an executive decision. Sure, the forest was an odd place for a safe haven, but it would have to do for now.   \n  \n  \nA quick bit of magi was worth the risk.  \n  \n  \nIn a burst of raspberry glow and sudden crack of thunder, she disappeared from beside her tree and reappeared on the front porch, within easy reach of the door. She threw it open and slipped inside quick as she could, and locked it behind her.  \n  \n  \nTruly, it was a shame Twilight didn’t think to examine the building a bit more. Not to say that it wasn’t lovely—perish the thought! Its owner and proprietor might take it upon herself to have a few words with whomever might imply that her establishment wasn’t the most beautiful gem in the Everfree Forest, just the same as those glittering upon her hood.  \n  \n  \nNo, not that is appearance was hideous or even ugly. Rather, that there were no mannequin ponies coming from the left side.  \n  \n  \nFor with each little stone pony, if one looked closely enough, they would notice that it was the image of one pony, a lovely mare, eyes full of swirls and expression one of utmost bliss as she began to rear up and dance her way straight into the mighty, coiled embrace of a gorgeous lamia. On the opposite side of the porch, had Twilight Sparkle taken a moment to look, she would have noticed the visage of the mare’s smiling face disappearing into her cavernous maw before the final image, one of that lamia, resting atop her coils, embracing and laying her cheek against the sizable bulge in her scales gave clear hint as to what might lay inside.  \n  \n  \nAlas, she did not and would not until she unwittingly entered the lair of Everfree Forest’s most beautiful, seductive, and dangerous designer for the past thousand years—Rarity Jewelhood.  \n  \n  \n\\*\\*\\*  \n  \n  \nThe interior, Twilight found, was just as picturesque as the exterior. Plush carpets and walls a purer white than fresh fallen snow, high arching windows with splendorous regal purple drapes, and full body mirrors.  \n  \n  \nA lot of full body mirrors, all lined side by side together as if one were expecting a great many ponies for a fitting together.  \n  \n  \nThe little mare crept forth, down a long hallway leading into what looked to be either a sitting room or some sort of gallery—a fitting room, she realized.   \n  \n  \n“Mmmm, delicious! What lovely little things they were, ladies!” a mare’s voice crowed. “You see, Rainbow Coils? I told you they’d found some rather good candidates for a fitting!”  \n  \n  \nHissing laughter made Twilight’s ear splay. Quickly, she ducked to her left and hid behind a row of dressing blinds.  \n  \n  \n“Yeah, yeah, you got me, Rares.” She could hear Rainbow Coils’—er—coils slithering across the floor … and the shelves above … and the wall? “I’ll say this,” the second lamia purred, “you were right. They do wear our scales well all around ‘em like this. I think they’re a perfect fit in me, and they wriggle just right.”  \n  \n  \nAbove her, Twilight noticed a sizable pair of bulges along length of beautiful sky blue scales, which rippled all the colors of the rainbow as the light traced along them. Lamias! The little mare had to bite back a groan. Where were all these lamias coming from? Sure, the legends of the forest told of how five mares and their families had been caught in a spell cast by a dark sorcerer, but this?  \n  \n  \nThis was either a case of the worst luck imaginable or some jerk of a pony writing the absolute worst comedy of her life.  \n  \n  \nTwilight Sparkle, frankly, found the latter far more likely.  \n  \n  \n“Mmmm,” the first—“Rares,” evidently—hummed. “Still a mite peckish, I’m afraid. I think, now, it’s time for our weekly inspections, as well.”   \n  \n  \nTwilight noticed a little gap between the privacy blinds. Curious, she shuffled herself closer, quiet as she could.  \n  \n  \nA pair of lamias stood—or was it more that they rested?—at the center of the room. Both had bodies of ponies, mares, actually. One, her coat the same blue as her scales and mane a beautiful rainbow, with rosy eyes which shone with confident, wicked delight, the sort of mare who made Twilight’s tail flag in school, but never actually try to inquire about a date.  \n  \n  \nThe other?  \n  \n  \nThe other was stunning, even for a lamia. Her scales and coat where a beautiful eggshell white, with a clusters of blue diamond markings down her back. Her regal purple mane spilled over her shoulders in a waterfall of elegant, pristine curls, and her sapphire eyes captivated Twilight so.  \n  \n  \nThe white lamia clapped her hooves twice. “Come, darlings,” she sang with a warm smile. “The three of you line up, please. Come, come, don’t dally!”  \n  \n  \nTo Twilight’s horror, three young mares around her age, all pretty as a penny and garbed in splendorous dresses, stepped forth as bidden. In their eyes, there was nothing short of wonder and awe for the lamia calling to them, and with it, a hint of lingering vacancy.  \n  \n  \nJust how long, Twilight wondered, had they been kept here in her presence, under her spell.  \n  \n  \nShe watched in muted horror and, admittedly, some fascination as the gorgeous lamia circled the mares, humming her appreciation as the tip of her tail slithered around their shoulders, their necks, their backs, it slid low to cup and caress their bellies before then wrapping around their hind legs and disappeared between them to inspect a decidedly more intimate area. An act which made Twilight’s jaw drop and brought a warmth to her cheeks, and her own hindquarters.  \n  \n  \nAnd spurred a deep, needy moan from each mare.  \n  \n  \nRainbow licked her lips. “Sure we can’t decide on moans?” she asked, settling small section of her coils and torso down atop the leftmost mare, who whimpered and struggled to hold her weight. “This one would look perfect in my belly. A nice lump, then strong, rippling muscle encased in perfect rainbow scales to glitter and—” she gave her long body a sinuous ripple, a little dance which sent a dazzling show of light through the room, and made Twilight’s mind blank for an instant “—dazzle some tasty little mammals.”  \n  \n  \nWhat in the world?   \n  \n  \n“Now, darling, you know my rules. We go by weight, not moaning, or I’d go through assistants far too quickly.” Her tail hooked around the rightmost mare’s waist and squeezed, a bright smile crossed the lamia’s features. “We have our winner!” she sang. “Dusty Quartz, my darling, come to me! It’s time for a special fitting!”  \n  \n  \nDusty Quartz went stiff. She let out a whimper, as if her conscious mind was trying to pierce through the fog of whatever spell the lamia had placed her under, even as her hoof raised, trembling, and made to step forward. A war seemed to wage in her mind.  \n  \n  \nRainbow snickered and dropped a larger section of her coils across the other mare’s backs, the full length of her body on display, nearly crushing them beneath her. Their efforts to hold her up only served to draw a grin. “Show her your hood again, Rarity,” she purred. “Her mind’s not quite soupy enough, she should get to see it one last time.”  \n  \n  \n“Mmmm, I was just thinking that myself.” With a sultry smile, Rarity flattened her neck and let her hood open with a sudden frump and dazzling flash of sapphires.  \n  \n  \nSapphires somehow embedded in her scales.  \n  \n  \nTwilight’s mind went numb. Her jaw hung open, awestruck at the beautiful, shimmering jewels. The lights called to her, coaxing her to step forward into those waiting hooves, those mighty coils, and … dance. She shook herself free. What in heaven’s name?  \n  \n  \n“Come now, lovely little treat. You, the girls, Rainbow, and I have all been intimate before,” Rarity’s musical voice sang its hypnotic song in her mind. Twisting forth visions of herself entwined in those coils in Dusty’s place. “Tonight, we join together forever, more intimate than before. You, in me, at last.”  \n  \n  \n“At last,” Dusty Quartz sighed.  \n  \n  \n“That’s right.” The lamia licked her face, hunger showing in her eyes. “Now, dance for me, little treat. Dance as you did on the stages in Canterlot and Manehattan.”  \n  \n  \nShe began to sway her head this way and that way, slowly, sinuously, the poor entranced mare and Twilight both turned to follow along, the hidden unicorn could feel a dopey smile spreading across her features.  \n  \n  \nThen, Dusty Quartz began to sway along with her. The little mare’s clumsy steps slowly turning into a sort of slow, dreamy waltz. She turned and twirled, rearing up on her hind legs and spinning on one hoof, her eyes never leaving the glittering jewels embedded in Rarity’s hood.  \n  \n  \nThe lamia led her around the room, humming a low, dangerous melody all the while. Rarity then maneuvered her tail about so the tip was presented at about ankle height, coaxing poor Dusty Quartz to step up onto it and continue her dance up, up along her massive girth.  \n  \n  \n“Kiss them,” she sang as Dusty drew near one of the large bulges in her body, the shapes of the ponies she’d devoured. “Rub them. Show them how excited you are to join with our eternal dance, my darling.”  \n  \n  \nAt each of those bulges, Dusty would pause her dance just long enough to lean down and plant a tiny kiss and rub them sensuously, her tail lashing eagerly as she continued along, closer and closer to Rarity herself.  \n  \n  \nHalfway up the lamia’s body, the tip of her tail slithered around Dusty’s waist, all the way up to her neck. “Hold out the hem, darling. And hind legs and tail nice and tight.” Rarity lifted the hypnotized mare up into the air, licking her lips. “Then fore hooves against your sides when I reach your waist.”  \n  \n  \nDusty Quartz crossed her hind legs and let her tail hang limp, her hooves reached down over the thinner portions of Rarity’s tail to take hold of her dress and spread the hem wide as the lamia held her overhead.  \n  \n  \nPurring, Rarity spread her jaws impossibly wide and lowered the mare, her forked tongue lapping at those delicate ankles. She moaned and let her hooves run up and down her equine torso, lingering near where her belly and waistline met, and began to work her way up the mare’s body.  \n  \n  \nAnd with her, Dusty whimpered and crooned her delight.  \n  \n  \nTwilight could only watch, her jaw slackened with horror. How far gone was the poor mare? How deep and powerful was the lamia’s spell to make her happy to be devoured?  \n  \n  \nAs Rarity reached Dusty’s waistline, the mare released her hold on the hem of the dress and let it slide around the lamia’s head, obscuring her from view, save for the the shape of her head and throat moving up Dusty’s body, rippling with each opening and closing of her jaw. Alabaster hooves poked through the armholes, Dusty’s cheeks smushed together, her tongue lolling out as she gave a heady moan, and then disappeared into Rarity’s mouth.  \n  \n  \nRarity pulled the dress over her head with a sharp tug and let her tongue hang, eyes crossing for a moment. She wiggled her hips a little, her hooves stroking her pony torso and waistline again. Faster, rougher, her wiggling soon became full on swaying which rippled throughout her coils. “Ooooooooooohhhhhhh, my delicious little darling! I wish I could have you all over again!” She brought a section of her scales, full of a new lump, up to view and kissed it. “You were just the right size. My dress fits perfectly and—Rainbow Coils!”  \n  \n  \nRainbow let out a deep belch, jerking her hips forward and back in open humping motions and holding her hooves above her head. The evidence of a new meal working its way down her massive body and worn upon her pony torso in the form of a splendorous red dress. “She wiggled under my weight, not my fault. You know how I get. Least I didn’t swallow the dress this time.” She gipped her own waist and shimmied, smacking the newest addition to her girth with a hoof. “Mmmmmmm, yeah! Her fault for tasting so good! Get down in there, babe!”  \n  \n  \nThe rest of her body had been removed from the shelving around the walls, and pooled about one spot, revealing her full length—longer than Rarity or that pink one who’d hunted Twilight. Long enough, Twilight wagered, to wrap herself around a smaller home.  \n  \n  \nBut where had the third mare gone?  \n  \n  \n“Rain-bowwwwwww!” Rarity whined, her shoulders sagging. “I was going to save her for Sweetie Spell! She loved the way Dewdrop writhed!”  \n  \n  \n“Eh, send her into town to sing. She’ll have, like, twelve colts and a few stallions begging to be eaten. I’ll send Wiggles with her.”   \n  \n  \nRarity huffed and crossed her hooves, drawing a frown.  \n  \n  \n“Aw, c’mon, beautiful. Don’t be like that.” Rainbow took her in her hooves and kissed her snout, then licked it. “She tasted wonderful. And this dress fits perfectly, like you made it special for me.”  \n  \n  \nHer fellow lamia shivered in a manner Twilight could guess not unpleasant. “I suppose I did think you might look—wait, no!” She turned away, hiding a smile. “I’m not falling for it this time! I’m cross at you!”  \n  \n  \nRainbow Coils grinned, nuzzling against her cheek. “Yeah, you are. And you will.” Another kiss, another lick, slower, lingering as the tip of her tail teased Rarity’s waistline. Then, she glanced down at her coils and purred, shifting quite deliberately. “And now she’s getting squirmy, must be eager to join her sweetheart.”   \n  \n  \n From somewhere within her coils, there was a pained gasp, and the telltale sound of muscles tightening and squeezing the air from a pony’s lungs. The mighty lamia shifted her coils and presented a mare, bound in coils as thick as tree trunks, her face turning blue and mouth hung open in desperate need for air. Her hind leg twitched once.  \n  \n  \nRainbow leaned up and nipped at the blushing lamia’s ear.“C’mon. Let’s finish her off with a kiss. First one to moan swallows and gets topped?”  \n  \n  \nWith a purr and a little shimmy, Rarity turned to press their snouts together. “Kiss me, you wicked lamia,” she crooned, “and prepare to be mine.”  \n  \n  \n“Oh, you’re on.”  \n  \n  \nTwilight tore her gaze away and squeezed her eyes shut, splaying her ears flat against her scalp. She could block out sight, but not sound. Nothing, not even a silencing spell had she the daring to cast it and risk discovery, could free her from the sounds of tongues slathering over a whimpering, suffocating mare’s form, their lips smacking and suctioning together and coils shifting, slithering eagerly across the floor to wrap in a sensuous, beastly embrace.  \n  \n  \nAnd then, the moaning began.  \n  \n  \nThere was a low chuckle, then a parting of lips. “That’s it, babe,” Rainbow Coils growled. “She’s gonna look great in your coils. Here, lemme give you a little help with that.”  \n  \n  \nCoils swished across the floor once more, and with them, a needing whimper from the other lamia. Twilight could hear her drawing the poor mare deeper, the sounds of kisses and licking, scales brushing against scales as they writhed and coiled one another. Rarity swallowed and moaned her delight around a throat full of pony.  \n  \n  \nThe doors slammed open with enough force to make Twilight’s very bones rattle. “Where are you, you tasty little thing? I will see that smile before I swallow you whole!”  \n  \n  \nTwilight’s heart sank into her belly. Oh, no.   \n  \n  \n“Pinkie?” Rainbow Coils called. “What in the name of shedding skin are you barging in like that for? And after you got hissy at Poison for interrupting our after-meal mating two nights ago!”  \n  \n  \n“Not now, Coil-ey! I’m not here to interrupt!” Twilight could hear the hissing breaths, fury radiating in her every word. “I had eight ponies, eight tasty, tasty ponies, giggling and squirming in my belly. Ready to rest and giggle me to sleep while I digested them—”  \n  \n  \n“Eight? Holy scales, Pinkie! I’m not sure if I should give you a kiss or tell you to slow down!”  \n  \n  \n“Kisses after! I found another! And she would have had the most yummy giggle fit!” She whined and, somewhere, a shelf went flying across the room. A lamia’s equivalent of stamping a hoof? “I’ve been chasing her all through the forest!”  \n  \n  \nRarity groaned and slithered over, right past Twilight’s hiding spot. “You hunted—no, you chased after eating eight ponies? Honestly, darling, how have you not gotten sick? You know you need to rest after the last … are we at thirty times? This century?”  \n  \n  \n“Rarityyyyyyyy!” Pinkie whined. A thud against the wall betrayed her frustration. “You’re not listening! I’ve been after her all morning!”  \n  \n  \n“Yes, darling, we heard you, but—”  \n  \n  \n“No you didn’t! I’ve been after her and her scent went poof outside! Then it picked up on your front porch!”  \n  \n  \nThere was a beat of silence. Then, Rainbow Coils’ … er … coils shifted. “Pinks? I’m, er, not sure how to tell you this, but there haven’t been any new ponies in here since we started Rarity’s fitting—and trust me, we could tell any little mammal still struggling under your power or venom.”  \n  \n  \nPinkie huffed. “Really?” There was an odd fwish noise. “Flicker your tongue. You’ll taste her yummy pony self all over this room.”  \n  \n  \nTwilight’s blood ran cold in her veins. She’d forgotten they could taste her scent.  \n  \n  \nHave to move quickly. She had to risk it. As she heard the curious pair flick their tongues, Twilight found a small box of fabric and ducked her head inside to hide her magic’s glow. She tried to teleport, but found herself met with a piercing headache that made her eyes cross.  \n  \n  \nWhat?   \n  \n  \n“… Rarity?” Rainbow hissed.  \n  \n  \n“Yes, darling, I taste her too,” came a throaty purr. “Come out, my dear. We know you’re hiding here—come, come, let’s not play coy. You know this ends with you in one of our bellies, part of our girth.”  \n  \n  \nRainbow snickered. “Yeah. So, how’s this: come out and pick the coils you’d rather fill, and we’ll make sure you enjoy it.”  \n  \n  \nCoils shifted against the floor, all three lamias moved to circle the room and cut off her exits as they hunted.  \n  \n  \nNuts to that! Option two! Again, she cast a spell. Her form flickered and faded away, obscured by a simple bend in the light.  \n  \n  \nTwilight stayed low, creeping along the wall so she might circle around and find an exit. Elegant alabaster coils only just passed over her head. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see Rarity’s neck flattening, a sight she avoided just in time to hear a fwump of that sapphire encrusted hood opening, ready to render her mind to soup.  \n  \n  \nThe door was only twenty paces away. Straight through the arch.  \n  \n  \n“Back here!” Pinkie’s voice nearly made Twilight jump. “I smell her! And her magic! Ooooooh! That naughty little mare’s using her tricks again!” There was a crash as she tossed a privacy shade aside and tried to search her out. “You’d better not have teleported again or I’ll make you laugh ‘till you can’t even cry!”  \n  \n  \n“Pinkie, darling.” Rarity sighed and slithered over to kiss her cheek. “Please. You know my spells block teleportation. Though, I will need to update them to port the little dears into my hooves, soon. I think that rune wore out last century …”  \n  \n  \nThe little mare bit back a whimper and shuffled her way closer. Five paces. Five short paces and she could be free, with the aid of a distraction of some sort.  \n  \n  \nTwilight took a slow, calming breath. She’d only get one chance. If she failed …  \n  \n  \nWell, chances were there wouldn’t be much time to worry about that.  \n  \n  \nWith that pleasant thought in mind, Twilight poked her horn through a small gap and launched a bolt of magic across the room, straight toward the boxes hidden behind those privacy barriers, then ducked behind her hiding spot as a crash sounded.  \n  \n  \nHissing, the lamias slithered to the source of the noise in an instant. Twilight could imagine their fangs bared, dripping with venom, and eyes already swirling. Ready to turn her mind too mush.  \n  \n  \nShe crept forward, through the arch and into the foyer. Ten paces. Five. She was almost there.   \n  \n  \nTwilight chanced a look back over her shoulders just to be sure she was home free, and froze.  \n  \n  \nRainbow Coils hadn’t fallen for her trick. Instead, the massive lamia stared, her tongue flicking and eyes squinted, peering straight through Twilight. She slithered closer and turned her head this way and that.   \n  \n  \nCould she see through Twilight’s spell?  \n  \n  \nHuffing, the lamia turned away and seemed to inspect the privacy barriers she’d hidden behind, her forked tongue flicking to scent her out.  \n  \n  \nThe mare bit her lip, her eyes locked upon Rainbow Coils, and shuffled sideways toward the door. She reached out with a hoof to touch the nob, not even daring to breathe.  \n  \n  \nAnd then, she noticed the smile tugging at the lamia’s lips, and the tensing in those coils near her equine waistline. Ready to strike.  \n  \n  \nRainbow Coils moved light lightning, hissing and lunging at Twilight in a blur. Had she not noticed that smile, Twilight wouldn’t have had the split second realization it took to leap to the side and throw her attacker off.  \n  \n  \nThe lamia crashed face first into the doors and blew them wide open, then fell, clutching her nose. “Son of a—”  \n  \n  \nTwilight bolted and made sure to land with both hind hooves on the fallen lamia’s head, driving her into the ground, as she passed her by and sprinted into the forest. She could hear them cursing, hissing, and slithering after her. Their paths swinging wide to cut off any attempt to double back, herding her deeper and deeper into the forest.  \n  \n  \nShe could only hope to get enough distance between them that she might have a chance to cast her spell again, and teleport away. Any chance.  \n  \n  \nJust a moment of freedom from their pursuit was all it would take.  \n  \n  \nIf any could escape the most feared predators Equestria had ever known."}
