Earth ponies had developed weapons to defend themselves from magic casters. Pegasus who kept working on a weather disaster machine to wipe out all ground species. Unicorns who clearly never had time magic yet but are on their way to study it. However, they couldn't until they can figure out a way to unlock it with the secret restriction section that was left by a Celestial that died.
